UISCE
Uisce (pronounced ISH-keh) is a relatively large world which is covered mostly by water, with many islands dotting the surface. The only continent,
Liath (lee-eth), is rather small, and bears only two cities:
Aidona (a-done-uh) and
Uaithne (wed-nee). Uaithne is a small town centered in a wide forest on the southern edge of Liath. It consists of makeshift wooden houses and cabins, with very few shops or other places of business. The inhabitants of this small community usually refrain from traveling outside of their hometown; however, occasionally, a traveler from another city will stop by Uaithne for a short visit.
The other city of Liath, Aidona, is much larger, constantly abuzz with busy people. It is the most heavily populated area in all of Uisce. The city has been constructed mainly in stone and marble, with large buildings which scale higher than the nearby forests. Aidona also holds the largest port in the world, and frequently sees many ships come and go. The city is managed by a Regent, a position which is decided by vote every ten years, and a group of councilmen and priests which aid the Regent.
Just east of Liath is a set of islands known as the
Dawn Islands, which are used as a summer resort. The richer residents of Aidona own many small vacation homes on these isles. There are also several beach houses and cabins for sale or rent, advertised very frequently in Aidona.
West of Liath is a small island-city named
Kyran (key-ren). Most business in this town has some connection with fish and other nautical animals: catching fish, cleaning fish, selling fish, serving fish, etc...
Southwest of Kyran is a cluster of small islands known as the
Windswept Isles. All of these islands are tropical wilderness, unoccupied by humans, with the exception of the easternmost of these islands,
Chariazah (ka-ree-ah-za). Chariazah is a small tropical island, with a very small town bearing its same name along its northwestern shore. The island does not see nearly as many regular visitors from afar as Aidona and Kyran do; it is kept somewhat secluded from the rest of the world. However, there are occasionally a few trade ships which come to port in Chariazah; the larger cities to the east pay small fortunes for the valuable and rare spices and herbs imported from the small island. The town has an elder who manages all of the affairs of the island; this position has been reserved to a single family line, which has been unbroken for hundreds of years. The current elder is a thirteen-year-old boy; the youngest age of any elder in Chariazah's history. He was appointed after his family died in a mysterious shipwreck on a trip to Aidona...
There is a much larger group of islands far to the north of Chariazah, known only as the
Lost Isles. These islands have been uninhabited by humans for centuries, Now they are dotted with ancient ruins of a lost civilization, and occupied by hordes of fierce, wild animals and monsters. Few people dare to venture into those forgotten isles...and even fewer ever return to tell their tales...
Uisce has been prosperous and peaceful, with no cause for war for almost a millennium. It is a secluded world, mostly ignored by inter-world travelers - possibly what those from more advanced civilizations would call a "common, back-water dump". There have been a small number of exceptions, for various reasons, over the past few years, but the people of Uisce are, for the most part, unaware of anything beyond their own world. They worship and make images of Leviathan,

ROISINRoisin is a very small forest world, with the exception of one near-modern city. The people of the forest have an entire city made of interlinked trees, and live by a social hierarchy ruled by a royal family. This family was said to have been blessed by the gods worshiped by the people, and as such are heavily protected at all times. All of the forest-dwellers despise the city-dwellers, whom they name "departed", as they abandoned the forest ages ago. Though they seem to constantly struggle against one another, there has seldom been full-scale war between them.
Their gods are in a family, and are all personifications of the world. They can be counted as layers of the world itself.
Niamh - The highest layer, and youngest of the family. The night sky is thought to be her gown, a protective barrier from harm while the people sleep.
Speir - The spirited son, the lower portion of the sky, including the forest canopy. Can also be seen to be the wind, he is believed to dance among the people when he is happy with them, and lie still when he is distraught.
Duilleog - The older sister, the trees themselves. She stands tall and watches the children, recording all of their actions to give an account to her father.
Roisin - The mother, the earth, the soil and the root. She supports all who rest upon her, and gives them life.
Bas - The father, the layer under the earth. He gives the people of Roisin dreams during their final rest, and the nature of these dreams depend upon the accounts given to him by his oldest daughter.

((I know, it isn't really that much, or detailed enough. I'll add more as I go along. I reckoned this was enough just for starters.))
