"I'll wait for you 'til I turn blue, there's nothin' more a man can do, don't get your bollocks in a twist, settle down, don't take a fit..." Leo was rambling and singing, his favorite pastime. It was very nice, not having anything to do today. He'd recently seen his parents, so he didn't have to worry about playing the guilty prodigal son, and it was a good feeling to be useful to the clan by scouting the borders. But nothing was really happening today; he hadn't seen a single other Meosian since he left the clan's main encampment. A spot of shimmering blue on the horizon caught his attention- it looked like another of his own kind. "Halloo!" he called out. "Halloo over there! Are you a mirage on the sands, or be you real?" He sang it with a lilt; he was really in a capital mood today.

As the fairly bright colored Meosian walked on the sandy grounds, he found himself lost, as he was only wandering to find a clan to join upon. His luck wasn't good so fair as only the ground is hot to his paws and his wings are completely glued on his back from not fly for the past couple of days. He was hungry and tired.. And most of all, his attitude of his 'happy-go-lucky' thing is missing. He lost that many days ago when he started to starve half to death.
He finally looked up from looking at the light tanned sands as to see a darker presents ahead of him.. With something green on it's head. Confused on if to continue to it or just stay where he is, he crept forward to the strange figure. His eyes had dark circles around them, not the lovely dark shade of blue. It was the ugly black dark circles, eyes closing slowly, he fell to the ground before even getting to the figure in front of him.. Reaching a paw out with a stream of tears coming down his face.
"Of all the lords, please help me.. If you are really there.." Faint words came out of his mouth before he blacked out.

The other cat, brightly colored as a summer oasis, was not in good shape at all. Leo was incredibly confused- was this poor fellow dying on him? And what were those things on his back. No time for thinking; he needed water and fast. The fluffy brown cat thought for a moment- the lime on his head had long ago dried into a hard husk, no water left in there, but there was a low-quality oasis not far from here, maybe ten minutes' walk if you knew where to look. Sure, the water might be sandy, the trees might be stunted and hidden behind a sand dune, and the cave system underneath it might be boring, but it was probably just what this poor injured creature needed. He looked light enough to carry, too. "Hang in there just a bit, bloke. We'll get you to water right soon enough. Beggin' your pardon for lifting you like this, but this is an emergency!" Wedging his body under the other cat's, he lifted and took off for the oasis as quickly as he could. His passenger was actually disturbingly light. When had he last eaten? No matter. He needed water and shade now more than anything. With grim determination, he reached the oasis in record time. He rolled his passenger into the grimy pool, with his entire body up to his neck submerged in the tepid water. He patted gently at the blue-and-white face, splashing it a little. "C'mon now, wake up, wake up. Got you to some water, but you've got to drink it, right?"
