Heya, so Camo was bored one day and was remembering back to when I had a video scavenger hunt with some of my friends and thought, "How awesome would it be to have one on gaia?!" So here we 'arrrr'! <.< Ok, ok...enough with the lame cartoonish pirate voice.

What is a video scavenger hunt???
Well I'll tell you. It's basically, a scavenger hunt....with a video camera! ;o Fancy that! I'll post a list of things I want you to find and tape...some of them will be easy to find, and some nigh impossible. >3 Get of group of friends to help if you wish. (But if they happen to be gaians too, only one of you can be the official contestant for that round.) Normally there will be a 5oo gold entry fee to help with prizes, but we have decide to omit that in the spirit of having the money to omit entry fees! And guess what! ;o There's prizes!!! The first contestant to find all the things on the list in a weeks time will win 30,000 gold! Sweet, huh? (8
[Grindy] Easy deal, right? Run around. Take pictures. Meet people. Ask them to do compromising things for you. I think it sounds nice. : D

Tools of the trade...
So there are a few things you guys will need...first of all, you need a camera. (...and know how to use it) Duhhh! xP Most digital cameras have a video feature. You can also use a camcorder. Of course...you have to be able to transfer your videos to your computer to upload or they won't do you much good, now will they? There are several sites that you can upload videos onto. Photobucket, Tinypic, Google, Youtube, Dailymotion....though since most of your videos are gonna be short, Tinypic or Photobucket would probably be the most convenient. You'll also need something with your username written on it to be shown at the end of each video. An index card will do nicely. You may PM or post your videos, but when you do, please be sure to tell me which number on the list it goes to.
It'd be a real headache to try and figure it all out myself. >.<;
**Please refrain from making long, drawn out videos of you and your friends goofing off...etc. for this contest.
Just tape the items on the list please.
NOTE: You can also use still photos if your camera does not have a video function. This, however will be much harder to get though, especially if it's a moving object. Of course if you're up to the challenge you're more than welcome to join. x3 (Your user name should also be visible in each photo)

Alrighty, you guys.
Katie talks alot, I know.[Camo] Katie was being thorough! <.<
So basically, we want you to run around and take pictures or videos of the 8 things on the list.
You HAVE to have something (index card, etc.) with your user name on it VISIBLE in the video/picture.
You can work with a partner, but their user name has to be visible as well, and the prize is split 50/50 (Yay even numbers!)
The list'll be posted on Thursday, October 22nd
If you'd like to enter, just send me a PM before the 22nd.
Once the list is released, you have one week to get everything. First one to get every item on the list wins 30k gold.
Contest Ends October 29th.
