Ok, bearing in mind that the founder members of this clan were thrown together in a quest for proper conversation I'm feeling the need for a thread where we can chat about anything and everything except the game.
I don't know about you lot but I kinda miss having a place to call home, outside of my profile comments and PM's. I love chatting to my fellow clannies, but sometimes I'd like a conversation with more than one of you at a time though! wink

coffee... i had a peppermint mocha *twist* today! I asked the lady at Starbucks what the "twist" was. She thought about it for a moment and told me it's the chocolate shavings on top of the whip cream.
Either way I'd still drink it. Coffee, chocolate, and mint are my favorite flavors. 3nodding

mmmm Starbucks biggrin I'll have to try that sometime I always get the white chocolate mocha or one that's hard to pronounce and I wont even attempt to spell here lol.

I don't like coffee but can just have it in a mocha just bout lol, surely the twist is like the other flavour to add a different twist on it... sound like tha woman was talkin outta her bum!

YAY! *waves to everyone*
we don't get starbucks here but I fill up when I'm at my folks. I couldn't survive without coffee. xd I tried quitting once it was bloody awful, managed 6 days with no caffiene at all and I thought I was going to keel over.
My boss thought I was on drugs, I looked like a junkie.
So, what's everyone been up to?

Yeah Starbucks just changed the names a little this year. It's a marketing thing. I liked the red colored sugar they put on top last year, but dark chocolate shavings are yummy too.
i don't drink coffee very much (and i mostly quit soda's while i'm trying to loose weight). i was addicted when i was in High School and would feel awful if i didn't have my coffee or pepsi. so i decided that drinking it everyday was actually bad for me and quit.
= no more withdraw symptoms when i don't drink it.
so now it's just a treat now and then.
I love hot chocolates too, especially with whip cream or marshmallows!!

That is Awesome!!! I'm so happy for you! I liked learning about web design and would like to get into it more in the future. This is the site I had to make for class. We were not allowed to use authoring software. All the pages were written in notepad. This website meets the requirements of our final project, but I wouldn't necessarily keep it this way if I was hosting it personally. My web design final.

Woo thats amazing news Fairy~Nuff! *glomps* I'm not very good when it comes to owt like tha, my webpage project i had to do absolutely sucked, but then again my teacher was a male chauvinistic pig who dint really inspire ya he always talked to the wall above the girls heads rather than their faces... spose it coulda been worse

Mixducky That really good! lol, I could probably manage something not quite so good with dreamweaver if I had a month or two! I'm really into learning more about the graphics though, the course is more about the coding, which is a shame but it's definitely a step in the right direction for me.
Doesn't start till next september though so in the mean time I'm going to be learning illustration at a different college. xd Who knows! I might enjoy that more.
Sammy ~ I had loads of teachers like that. Not very inspirational. We had some properly weird teachers at our school though, one of the art teachers would make you stand in the bin and say "I'm a daisy" if you misbehaved. The other one would just sit quitetly in the corner and go purple and shake as he got crosser and crosser. O.o

hehe sounds like some proper fruitloops... i dont think i could of said "i'm a daisy" with a straight face, which would of made things worse im sure... or kept a straight face with a shakin purple teacher he'd of looked like an insane person! LOL

It sounds like you have had some really weird teachers. I can't think of any funny teacher stories.
I really like my Japanese teacher! She invited me to start going to her yoga class, which I love. We also went to Cirque du Soleil together. Her husband is a Navy man who is currently out to sea, so I invited her to come with us when me and some girls from work were going to go see Saltimbanco (when they were here).

That is a really long wait before school starts! Graphic and Illustration are very important. I can put elements together to make a web page, but I feel like it is missing a Design. I wish I was more artistically inclined and I could make my site better. I'll try to think of something when I have more time for it. I plan to scan all my pencil boards and actually make a real website for all of them.

Sorry I haven't been around much =S on the forum... But that really is great news about going back to school!! Congratulations <3, I'm sure you'll do well when you get in there.
