Now at Kroger! I wasn't even looking for them. I was picking up some PG Tips and right underneath were JELLY BABIES! I am so happy because I never expected to find Jelly Babies in Texas.

What brand are they? The gourmet grocery A Southern Season in Chapel Hill, NC also carries jelly babies--theirs being real UK-import ones; the big, soft kind with powdered sugar all over them. And the box costs over $5. If you say that's what the Kroger ones are like, I will definitely have to make a trip to the Durham Kroger....

Yeah, on the back wall of the candy section, where they always have a display of British cookies & candy. They've had those for months. And last year they had Jaffa Cakes at Christmastime, although all I see this year are Pim's.

No luck at Kroger D: All they had were "Wine Gums" and Aero/Mars bars and stuff in the little British section... But they also had my favorite biscuits that I hadn't noticed before, so I'm happy anyway. ^^ I'll have to go to SS next time in Chapel Hill (thanks for telling me Eirwyn!)

I just made a thread in Chatty Kathy about finding UK treats in the US during the holidays, and included information about the jelly babies I saw in Southern Season. I put it up there because it will include foods not related to Doctor Who, just cool stuff to eat or drink from the UK in general.
I hit the Kroger just off 15/501 in Durham in front of the AC Moores the day after Thanksgiving & saw no jelly babies.
