I've never read the book. Nor will I read it or go see the movie. It seems lame... A vampire in love with a normal girl...its pretty much like every other vampire movie. Which all of them the past atleast 10 years have sucked...maybe 15. This just seems like another Harry Potter like phase.

Eri Luvs You I've never read the book. Nor will I read it or go see the movie. It seems lame... A vampire in love with a normal girl...its pretty much like every other vampire movie. Which all of them the past atleast 10 years have sucked...maybe 15. This just seems like another Harry Potter like phase. *cough*Blade*cough* Anyway I'm with Erin on this, vampire films are a dime a dozen these days and 99.9% of them are all based on the "I WANNA BE THE NEXT ANNE RICE!" archetype. Man that Rice b***h has a lot to answer for. Personally I wanna see my Vampire the Masquerade groups adventures get made into a vampire movie, we have a flower obsessed scientist, a literally insane Norwegian metal head who likes hawaiian shirts, a hockey player who can't write his own name and a guy who's basically a rotting corpse with an evil sense of humour all on a road trip through the south of france to find a book, all thrown together, cos if they don't work together they get killed. Now I would pay to see that vampire movie.

I read it, it's not all that as people say.
People just go crazy over Edward. It's a book series taken from other books, copywrite. I hate it, I don't get the obsession and have no plans to go see the movie.

1. I HATE the Twilight series. The main character is whiny, and over-dependent. I want to kick her face in.
2. The movie looks like it may be better than the book, so if I have nothing to do I might go see it.
3. The Prisoner of Azkaban was the last decent book JK Rowling ever wrote.

eh the bks are ok... I've only read 3 outta 4 so far and jus started the 4th one.... Its not that bad but i'm not completely fan based obsessed over either. Jus sumthin to read and keep me busy @ time i guess sweatdrop
Anyways, I do like the look and feel for the movie tho... Haven't seen it YET, but I'm into those kinda Action/ Horror/ Mystery movies. I was REALLY into Goosebumps too in middle school and moved on to R.L. Stines major novels mostly thru high school also... [or science novels rolleyes ]
I agree w/ most of u tho, don't wanna make a big fad about this stare
