Wow. . .can't believe there isn't one of these on here already. o.o
Well, I'm honored to be the one to post it. >w<
Anyway, so, FMA. . .it was actually a really funny story about how I got into it. I was home alone with my sister, and we had to watch a DVD (our parents made us because they believed we were too attached to the computer) and she pleaded me to watch it, even though I really didn't want to. She said, "After the first episode, if you hate it, you can leave." So, we watched the first episode (and for those people who watch it, you know it ends on a cliffhanger) and she said, "Okay, if you hated it, you can leave," and I waved her down and I was like, "Uh. . .no, that's okay, I'll watch one more episode."
We had to take the DVD out before I got a chance to watch the fourth episode and I almost started crying. xD
And the funny thing is, I'm a bigger fan than she is now.
So, what about you guys?

FMA is awesome.
how i got into it is through randomly searching for anime's on the net. i ended up watching every episode in three days. it was also the first anime i watched knowing that it was anime unlike with dragon ball z and sailor moon on foxkids and cartoon network. even so it has to be my favourite one

I love FMA, and may Hues' soul rest in peace, and my fave character is the flame Alchemist Roy Mustang. I also love the voice actors, Vic and Travis are a trip and my goal in life is to meet them at a con. I'm a Ranger as well.

Between episode 3-Mother and the episode where Ed asks Al if he hates him and says "I could never hate you!" I think Aaron Dismuke(the voice of Al) is probably the best VO actor in the anime dub industry. I just about cried when he first appeared at the Rockbell's door holding Ed's bloody, freshly maimed body and said to Winry "He's dying...You have to help him."
And I have heard they are trying a new anime series that will follow the Manga. And good news, the lead VOA are interested in reprising their roles if it makes it to the states. Funimation, get in gear! WE WANT MORE FMA!

At school me and one of my best freinds are actaly known as ed and al because of our resembelence to them...

I read the manga and watch (and own) the original anime but i cant stand the art of the new one

but i have seen a kid that looks like the little human version of al. I could not take a piture though.

I was thinking, would it have been a better ending to the FMA anime if Ed had used the Philosopher's Stone(Al) to try to change Al back to human. I figure with al's soul already attached, Ed's superior alchemy skills compared to his first attempt at human transmutationand Al being the Philosopher's Stone, at the very least he could have turned Al into a perfect homunculus. Then when Al asks Ed about restoring his own limbs Ed would just reply "this is as good as it gets after what we've done." and then they would just go through eliminating the homunculi and Dante to restore order.
So does anybody think that would have been a better ending?
