Dr. StrangeFate (Dr. Strange+Dr. Fate+ Charles Xavier)
and galactuss' herald Nova was combined with Kyle Rainer, while Catwoman and Electra were combined...right?

@straife-yeah...i actually like the amalgams...but i did not read them when they first came out so i don't know many(but there were a few that stood out enough to remember them later)

i remembered anouther one just today- Magnus and the Metal Men!
I don't remember if he was a 'doc'-but he seemed to be a cross between eric magnus lensher and will magnus-his metal men controled by his magnetic powers-of that's what it looked like from the cover)
