Backstory There was once a day when the sun went green, causing the world to panic at the unusual color. Scientists tried figuring it out, while everyone became panicked. And then the day passed.
Soon, years afterward, mutants were discovered. Children gained abilities when they hit puberty, and nobody knew what to do with them, or why they were like that. They were experimented upon, treated illy, and the world feared them.
Years, even, after that, Pacis Salus school for Mutants was created on Yamori Island, named for its' native inhabitants of geckos, off the island chain of Japan. Students were taken in, given a place to live, and were educated about their powers and anything more needed for their futures.
Paid for by several governments around the world, it became a combined effort, so mutants from everywhere were allowed within. As the years passed, people became more comfortable with the Mutant population.
Story The year is 2060. Pacis Salus school of mutants has been around for over ten years, leading graduates into adulthood, and making a peaceful path for themselves. Their children can now learn in public schools without fear, and adaptions to their destructive powers have made cities safer places for even the normal beings of the human race. A comfort zone has settled across the world. However, the threat of war still rears its ugly head and hisses.
The growing city of Harbor is the first of its' kind- the buildings, the technology, and the design are all based around Mutants and their abilities. Also a sort of 'city test' for the North American Government, the technology within the city is the best of its' kind, today. Subway trains underground can take you anywhere in the city, while the roadways and buildings plans aid in any kind of travel.
However, not everyone agrees with this method of adaptation. There are still countries who fear the Mutants, who experiment on them. Mutants are on television every day, going crazy from their mutations, or causing trouble in cities. There's even a rumor spreading throughout the world of organized groups of mutants purposefully causing problems. Others say it's the governments that are making them do what they do. Although there is peace, there is also a fog of fear clouding humanity's minds.
And then it happens. A riot, and soon a mass fight, breaks out between a normal human and a mutant. The mutant is at fault, and on top of that, kills the human... and several others. They don't count it with the crazies, because the man can stand at court and plead his case. He hasn't lost his mind- he's even a high-ranked man for his education and work under his government. His face is shown on television, and the fog thickens.
Tess the Terror. Newspapers, websites, TV news reports all show the name. The man who can shift into a beast of horrifying proportions. If people weren't afraid of him before, they were then. The man pleads that he had been attacked and provoked first, coming home from a tiring day at work. He hadn't meant to kill, and then he was attacked and lost his temper. Despite his pleas and his proof, he is signed as guilty. Case closed.
However, the case seems to be an eye-opener for other mutants. The case was the first of its' kind, Mutants and humans having only recently gotten closer in comfort. Many believed Tess to be innocent, and many were outraged that he hadn't done more damage. Some thought it was good he was marked guilty, and a mass amount of others... blamed the humans for what happened. Not the killed humans, but those leading in governments. And then the arguments grew, and cities grew less safe, and factions split.
In 2061, he world today is filled with news- Mutants and humans rioting. People killed. Meaningless peace treaties signed. Alliances. Enemies. The division between 'good' and 'evil'. All this can be watched from your television set at home. There have been a few accounts in Harbor, but so far they've been working to keep the city calm. They've hired certain individuals to keep the peace, though there are others who seek only chaos. Many wonder who their neighbors take account towards.
The argument is whether all Mutants and humans are either evil or good, and whether or not they can live together in harmony. For many years, everyone has been cautious. Should it remain that way? What do you think?

Setting
Harbor City: A growing city within the zone of North America, somewhere around where old-times Oregon and Washington resided. It gives it enough room to grow, as well as being as far away from the countries' capital as deemed safe.
A train system runs underground, providing stops to almost every area of the city possible. There's even one out to the airport that also runs to the opposite side of the city, cutting across and past the City Center. That track also leads out to the Docks to ensure availability of every asset is accessible for the population of the city.
Buildings are advanced in technology and were built for mutants. Material is almost indestructible, but that also means it takes a while for new ones to be constructed. It has its' limits, though, so make sure you keep your house checked up and without problems.
Businesses are mainly directed around the City Center, though there are super markets, schools, and other small things scattered about. Homes are in comfortable neighborhoods, as well as super apartment complexes that have apartments from Studio to even six-bedroom homes.
There are parks and gyms and everything to make a city comfortable.
Of course, there are also signs and buildings to point out the different factions...
U.N. Meta-Human Crisis Response Task-Force: Good The U.N. MCRT has a building in the City Center to help regulate control over the city. With an offer to aid in monitoring the city, their building is the largest and most known. Offices, and even in-building apartments make this the command center of the city. Those who work for them are paid a decent government salary and are treated well. The members may also work their own jobs outside of the Central Base, but may get called in if their abilities are needed. There are other offices and such around the world to help keep an eye elsewhere, as well. Those who join the U.N. MCRT are looking out for both mutants and humans' well beings, trying to keep trouble down to a minimum, and hope for peace between the races. They are represented by a silver pin with a sword and shield depiction, and 'U.N. Meta-Human Crisis Response Task-Force' written around the border.
Deceit: Evil Within the docks there are many storage buildings for goods coming in and out. One of them has been taken over by Deceit and transformed into a base. Uncomfortable rooms to sleep in if one needs, a patrol of guards keeping an eye out across the docks, and a main room for planning and decision making. Deceit has a few other bases around North America, and even a few in South America. They aren't very large, yet, but they plan to grow. Those who join Deceit are mostly interested only in the welfare of the Superior Race(Mutants), and very few humans enter their ranks. They are represented by a six-petal flower in red on a sash kept somewhere on their person.
Indifference: Neutral A scattered team, Indifference doesn't feel that they need a home base. If they need to meet up at any point in time, it's usually a party at someone's house, or they rent buildings. Why go big when you are just on the sidelines watching? Indifference is mainly based in Harbor, though there are several similar groups hanging around major cities of the world. Those who join Indifference aren't too worried about either side- Humans and Mutants will or wont work together. Both sides are at fault, so neither side should be to blame. They aren't worried about representation, though they usually keep the mannerisms of a blue equal sign somewhere on their clothing.

Meta-Human Crisis Response Task-Force, Evil= Deceit, Neutral= Indifference. Pick your Poison. Mutation: What are their abilities? Do they have any physical changes? Limits? Abilities have to make sense. Flying and the ability to breathe under water does not make sense. Preferably, we'd like to have one ability per person. However, exceptions can be like, if someone has a bestial form, sight scent smell and strength might go up. Please come up with something original, too. We don't want repeats of the same powers, or copies of what you can find on a television show, or something. Make it unique to fit you and your character. Also, please describe it well. We don't like one-liners in posts, and in this area of your profile. Appearance: NO PICTURES. I would like at least a paragraphs' worth of description. Literately typed. Mutant Profiles
Username: Disturbing Tale Teller Name: Logan Ernst Codename: Memoria Age: 27 Gender: Male Faction: Good Mutation: Memory Absorption- Logan has the ability to examine the memories of a person or an item by touch. He also has the ability to forget them when his assessment is completed.
By touching a human, he can 'remember' all of their life's' memories. He can chose which memories he wants to bring up, though it's limited to a time range. Say, he decides to remember the last hour of the person's life. He'll remember that, and no more, and can hang onto the information for up to a week, or as long as he wants in between that time, before it fades from his mind. A person's scent also carries memories, or more-so moods, and he picks up on those as well.
By touching an item, he can pick up the memory of the last person to touch that item, what they were doing with it, and so on. Items' memories fade over time, so old items often only have hazy memories, depending on the last time a human or mutant touched them. Natural materials such as wood, silk, cotton and wool(ect.) hold onto their memories longer.
If Logan has to keep a hold of many memories at once, headaches are sure to occur, and if he's overloaded with too much of a rush of information, like seeing the entire lifespan of someone 20 years or older, he could possibly slip into a comatose state for a few days. Appearance: Letting his lightly wavy hair grow out to his shoulders, Logan often keeps it pulled back into a ponytail. With pale skin and gray-blue eyes, he's tall and thin, standing at around 6'2". He isn't built with a lot of muscle, and though he's a healthy weight, he looks rather scrawny. He has a small amount of facial hair and keeps it relatively short and shaved to where there are no side burn areas at the sides.
As a kid, he had to keep his skin covered from touching things that would trigger his mutation, but now that he has control over it more, he wears whatever he wants. In cooler weather, he wears sweaters and pants. In the summer, t-shirts and pants. Sometimes he'll wear shorts. He likes darker colors, but will wear the occasional tan pants, or white shirt.
He'll keep a pair of gloves and a mask with him in case he's having a bad day and needs help with his mutation with blocking out the memory-carrying scents of people, and the memories from touching things. Personality: Logan's pretty laid back, and sometimes socially awkward, though he can become business material in minutes. He enjoys working on art pieces in his spare time, as well as spending time with his friends and those who are close to him. He's a bit anti-social when tired, and it's difficult to truly anger him. He's a gentleman, always one to open and close doors for women and help out wherever he's needed. Uneasy about the arguments and decisions made about the case between mutants and humans, he's become less relaxed and more tense the more things happen. Having known Tess in school worsens the condition a little. He hopes he can work enough to turn the tides around and make things better again so he doesn't have to worry about bad things happening to the people he knows. History: Logan was a student at Pacis Salus after having recovered from a coma that marked the discovery of his mutation. He worked with good grades, made a few friends and acquaintances, and even gained his first crush. Graduating from high school, he headed for a college that worked with few mutants and gained a degree in psychology, as well as taking classes for sociology.
With his education under his belt, Logan took a job for the U.N. Meta-Human Crisis Response Task-Force, working with them to help solve cases by using his mutation and education do decipher reactions and such that would be valuable to them. Paid well, he bought a house in Harbor and began watching the city grow. Keeping an eye on the news and the world, he also kept an eye on those in his family- making sure his parents in London were well taken care of, and that the love of his life was happy and able to do as she pleased.
The case with Tess Reynalds shook Logan up, however, making him a bit more serious and focused on the outside world. He decidedly worked more hours, though he still left time for relaxing and taking care of things outside of work. Busy work moved him up in ranks, and even with his younger age, he's a major asset of the Central Base for the U.N. MCRT, no matter how much they make sure he doesn't overload with his mutation.
Logan plans to pop the 'marriage' question to Marie Jakemen sometime soon, but as usual, he's been too nervous about it. He'll suck it up, soon, though, and hope things go smoothly.
Username: Kikiama Name: Marie Jakemen Codename: Siren Age: 27 Gender: Female Faction: U.N. Meta-Human Crisis Response Task-Force Mutation: Siren as dictionaries describe “a seductively beautiful or charming woman, esp. one who beguiles men, particularly with singing.” Marie’s mutation is a deviation of the ideal of “sirens”. Through specific word pattern and iambic pentameter, she can hypnotize those around her or a certain person depending on her concentration. While, it is easier to hypnotize one person, if others are within hearing range they are also affected. So, it is harder to specifically effect only one person in a room of many people.
Iambic pentameter is a rhyming scale used by many famous Renaissance poets and after, including the famous Shakespeare. It is a 10 syllable line switch from soft or loud inflection with each syllable.
An example: “When I do count the clock that tells the time,” (Shakespeare, Sonnet 12, line 1)
“Shall I compare thee to a summers day,” (Shakespeare, Sonnet 18, line 1)
Marie does not need to say a 10 syllables, but it does need to be and even number for the proper inflection. More commonly, Marie will use Spanish because of its natural speaking pattern.
An example: “Sientate” which is the Spanish command “Sit yourself”.
An example of a non-working command is “Quitate” [Trans: Remove from yourself] which only has 3 syllables. This can be corrected by being my specific and adding a word to finish the pattern.
Even if the target does not know Spanish whatsoever, they will do as told until the action is complete, or the link between the minds is broken through the object concentration or Marie’s on concentration is disturbed. The most important part is the pattern taking the mind and then Marie merely controls with her own mind. The words help with making her concentrate, so going “Lalalalalala” does not work.
Singing, is much more effective for Marie, with its tunes and patterns, but is not as efficient as speaking in rhythm. So, singing is more powerful, but not as easy to do right on the spot.
Marie can now speak with her normal, fluttery, angelic voice without harming or hypnotizing others. Appearance: : Marie’s appearance has not changed too much from her young adult hood, though she very much has the air of a grown woman.. Her father is English and her mother Spanish. She has her mother’s olive skin and dark, dark brown, wavy hair, and her father’s forest green eyes. Her build is hour-glassed shaped and lives up to the curves of the mythological characters she is associated with. Her face is a little thinner than before and her body leaner from years of intense dance study and her professional dance career. With a dancer’s body, Marie moves with the softness that dancers have in choosing the right step. She stands at about 5’6” with her hair being extraordinarily long and reaching her mid back. Personality: Marie is a much more outgoing and free speaking woman (literally). She is a delightful, and happy woman who enjoys night out with the girls, yoga, and a nice hot cup of tea and a book. Marie is very caring and tends to go out of her way for others she cares about if at all possible. Her nickname should be Mom because of how she looked out for her other dancers when she toured, even to the point of fighting with getting into fights with directors over another dancers safety. History: Marie’s powers became aware when she was 13 and had been given the wonderful grace known as “woman-hood”. She was in Spain with her family, as they lived there every summer and lived the school years in England. Her father, being the Headmaster of Oakridge School for Boys, had the summer luxury of being able to stay 2 months in Spain every year as Marie’s mother missed her large family and home so. That fine, monumental day was spent with Marie lying in bed getting know her new discover “Aunt”, rolling in pain and complaining to her mother. The cramps because severe enough to drive tears as her mother smooth her hair and chat with Marie about her experiences and other “coming of age” tales and mother would share with her daughter at this time. Marie had groaned with tears in her eyes, “Porfavor… Alguien matame…” [Trans: Please… Someone kill me…] Then two hands wrapped around Marie’s neck and within moments Marie’s was fighting for air against her mother’s grip. More emotion driven, Marie gasped for breath uttering random and unfinished word of confusion, despair and resistance before finally saying, “!Mama! !Para!” [Trans: Mom! Stop!] Marie’s mother’s face soften before becoming horror sicken with what position she awoke in and the tears streaming down her daughters face. They first went towards medical help for her mother, but nothing was wrong with her. And as time passed, other things alike happened. When telling people to do things, for some reason they would actually do it. Telling a bully to shut up, or messing around and stating as a joke to her father for him to give her €1,000. He did, with an odd look in his eye, and soon all the pieces came together. She didn’t speak for over a year and a half, until she was finally found that her place was with the mutants at Pacis Salus.
She learned well, had fun experiences and fell in love there. After that, Marie double-majored in Music education and dance and has spent the last 7 years touring and working professionally as a dancer.
Marie is a on-call Task Force member, meaning she has her own life and job but can be called in if needed for anything specific to her abilities such as getting an unruly person to calm down and talk to the detectives or in some instances she can be a very convincing and persuasive speaker when dealing with hostage situations and the like.
Her current life right now, Marie has settled down in Harbor City in a small apartment and has used her entire savings to start her own dance studio in Harbor City. She has just purchased the building and is redecorating the place herself to turn into, not only a place of learning, but a place of comfort and a get away from the world.
She is in a relationship with Logan, and in love. He should be popping the question any day now… at least, she hopes.
Username: Atomic Rainbows Name: Illyena Flores Codename: Puppeteer Age: 29 Gender: Female Faction: Deceit Mutation: Animation- Quite simply, Illyena has the ability to animate any non-living objects, whether that’s a corpse or a toaster. To do this, she simply deposits a small amount of energy into the object and it becomes fully animated. The amount of energy she has to put into something depends on the size, though it's much less than you'd think. However, doing it a lot can tire her a great deal, since the act of actually transferring the energy is more taxing than losing the energy itself, though not by much. And because she must only deposit energy once, her power doesn't sap her anyway. To return on object to it's inanimate state all she has to do is take back the remainder of the energy she put into it (some usually is lost during its transfer and some fades away over time). Her power cannot make anything truly come alive, however, for the objects she uses it on become more like puppets without strings and some freewill, though her orders can override it. The most notable feature in Illyena’s opinion is that she, and only she, can read their memory through touch (an objects memory only starts when it has been animate, and usually the clarity older memories of an object get less clear as time goes on), and there’s no way to differentiate them from inanimate objects, they make perfect spies. Appearance: Illyena is tall and thin, though she’s by no means sickly looking. She’s quite pale, and is made paler by her jet black hair. She wears her hair either in two low, braided buns and lets her bangs stay free, or she wears it down. Her thin eyebrows frame her large, pale green eyes that give her almost a kind appearance, that is, when she doesn’t have an unpleasant facial expression. She has high cheekbones and full cheeks- a combination that she hates since she believes it makes her face look childish. She also has a somewhat sharp chin, which she is thankful for, since it detracts from the childish look her cheeks give her. She has a small chest, though that’s not to say she’s completely flat chested. She’s just curvy enough to fill out clothing properly. Personality: Illyena acts distant towards those she is indifferent to, seeing no reason to be ‘friendly’ or polite. She’s rather quiet when not in a foul mood, being that she doesn’t see the point in speaking needlessly. Of course, she’ll never hesitate correct someone or debate with someone on any topic since she is always positive that she’s correct. If someone does prove her wrong she usually holds a grudge against them, but if she’s caught in the right mood she’ll actually think higher of the person.
If you end up on her bad side you’ll usually find yourself in some bad situations, for she can’t stand not getting revenge. There really isn’t anything a person can do to get back on Illyena’s good side except for pray that you become useful to her. If you do you’ll suddenly find yourself being treated quite well by her. All in all, Illyena is best described as a cunning, manipulative, calculating, mastermind. But of course everyone that she hasn’t permanently black-listed in her mind knows her as the quiet, smart, opinionated, and slightly stuck-up woman. History: Illyena grew up normally in America, at least in her opinion. Her parents believed there was something wrong with her, since she always claimed inanimate objects would come to life, starting from the age of twelve. A year or so after she began to make the claims however, they learned the truth when their table began to walk around. They hid her power, fearful of what would happen if it was found out, by neighbors and the rest of the community, who were against mutants. When as soon as her parents found out about it, she was sent to the school for mutants, but only briefly. It was within her first few days of her arrival that she learned her parents were attacked and killed by a mob, who had discovered where she had gone. She was allowed to leave for her parents’ funeral, but after that she was supposed to return. She never did.
Fueled by her rage towards those prejudice against gifted and the government, who she believed she could’ve done more to help, she trained with her powers and ended up making jointed dolls that are over a foot tall and carry proportionate, lethal weapons, which she ended up using for any type of fighting she encountered. During that time she stayed wherever she could, getting by through robbing stores with the use of her dolls, since she wasn't able to stand her other relatives, being they were biased against mutants themselves. Eventually her motive of revenge changed to a general hate for all non-mutants and the belief they should be dominate. She eventually joined Deceit for their similar beliefs.
Username:-poisonous milanos- Name: Devin Toric Codename: Copycat Age: 24 Gender: Male Faction: Indifferent Mutation: With a touch of the hand, Devin can copy the matter of the object he's touching. Once he has this data copied into that finger, is then able to create exact copies of whatever the object was. The previous data is erased after Devin has created a copy. Because of this, he can only create one of whatever he touched. For example, if Devin touched a blender, then he could create a replica of the same exact blender, only once.
This same idea applies to people, and perhaps their abilities. If Devin touched someone, he would be able to copy their genetic makeup. There for he could create clones, of certain people and of himself. Along with this, Devin also copies the person's mutation, if they have one, although it won't be as powerful. With the clones, they last for a maximum of one hour, if their well made, and if a large amount of energy is put into them. If not, the clones will start to disintegrate, and quickly. The clones can be killed, without any physical damage done to the original person. They are also difficult to control; like golems, they have a slip of paper hidden in their mouth, which enables the creator to control them about for a limited time.
Second hand copying doesn't work. For instance, if Devin wanted to create more blender copies, he would have to touch the real blender, not the copies. Along with this, he can only copy one thing at a time. If Devin touches someone or something with a finger that has the data of the blender, that person or thing will turn into a blender. He can also copy finger prints and replace this upon something else. Appearance: Devin's blond hair has grown slightly long, almost reaching to his shoulders. It's nearly impossible to tame, and porcupine like spikes stick up messily with no pattern. His eyes are a bright ice blue, although they often betray Devin's feelings to the world. A mischievous smile permanently decorates his face, which gives him the look that he's up to no good. Protruding cheek bones show slightly under the stretched skin. Devin stands at about 5'9", although he's almost always hunched over.
Devin's slender frame is covered by a simple cotton red shirt. Most of the time, though, it's hidden underneath a white button up shirt, decorated with abstract designs of different colors, and a black jacket. Tan khaki's held up with a worn leather belt, cover his lower half. A pair of simple black leather shoes are what he most often wears upon his feet. Personality: To most, Devin seems normal, if a bit of an eccentric. His imagination is the only thing most people are a little put off about; it's huge. Devin is unnaturally open-minded and uses his creativity to see things in a slightly different light. This has also caused him to see the world in general, differently than others. He commonly looks a little withdrawn from the present, and he often is, however, when threatened, Devin can get mean, and cold using words as his weapons, not fists. Lies come to him naturally, and for those on the receiving end, it's hard to tell them from the truth. Partly because there is some truth to them. And he almost never gives a reason why he does what he does. Doing something without a clear reason sounds believable than if your reason makes no sense. Although no one has caught on to this, Devin always says as little as possible when he lies. Cunning as a fox, he strives to stay one step ahead of other mutants, that maybe possible threats to him. History: Devin's talents first shown throw the exact day he turned thirteen, when he accidentally created a replica of his parent's largely ornate coffee table. His parents first tried to ignore that, and a year went by less smooth than they would have liked. Replicas of nearly everything in the house were to be found everywhere. When Devin turned fourteen, his parents enrolled him in the Pacis Salus school of mutants, at a hope that he could learn to control his ability. Fortunately, he did, allowing Devin to choose what objects he could copy.
After graduating with moderately good grades, Devin went on to mutant friendly collage, where he majored in chemistry and biology, and minored in music and the arts. Upon graduating collage, Devin became a cook at an Olive garden. He kept his well-hidden secret from the rest of the employees, for fear that he would be fired. About a month after receiving the job, the manager found out Devin's secret, when he accidentally turned his employer's desk into a skillet. The manager allowed Devin to keep his job on account of the fact that he was a reasonable cook.
Tess's case didn't bother Devin much, like most indifferent. He believed that because his mutation wasn't nearly as dangerous, that the humans wouldn't have anything against them. So far he had been right, but Devin didn't concern himself in big matters anyway, so he kept his nose in his hiding hole and ignored the propaganda trying to get him to choose a side.

He concerns himself primarily with his work and squad. Secondly he studies towards a doctorate of medicine by acting as a field medical officer and taking intensive coursework weeks. Finally he maintains a close relationship with Aki Sasari. His favorite cookie is white chocolate chip. His choices for pleasure include old films, having a particular liking for Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd amongst others and paint-balling, which he indulges at the Harbor Leisure complex. He dislikes dogs, since his mutation has been diagnosed as having a feline genetic alteration. He also hates the New Orleans Saints due to their five season losing streak. History:Since leaving Pacis Salus, Huilliame has attempted to attend university but was interrupted by the request for his experience dealing with the newly emerging mutant population. He has become a devoted member of the Response Taskforce, assisting with incidents in Mexico, China, Italy and Africa. Recently he has been assigned to Harbor city due to his personal request to be able to continue his studies. As his mutations changed over time he became aware that he could use them to help with covert ops and was for a time moved to the Black ops section of the Task Force, but left this when he was forced to kill the rogue mutant Black Friday during a mission. He has also seen his younger causing Jean-Luc become the first mutant mayor of any major city, being now the mayor of New Orleans at the age of twenty two.
Username:oOMyMelodyOo Name:Candice Centennial Codename:Storm Age:26 Gender:female Faction:Neutral Mutation:Pheromone mutation: Candice's mutation started when she first hit puberty, it started with her growing several inches at a time and many young boys attracted to her. Her parents thought it was just a growth spurt but things started to change. Candice would become threateningly depressed and had unbelievably violent mood swings unlike anything they had seen. When Candice started to control it she noticed several things that seemed irregular about it. She could attract boys when ever she pleased, she would get sick when devouring anything with too many growth hormones, and her body would react violently to the release of natural pheromones.
Since coming to Pacis Salus at the age of sixteen she has learned to manage and develop her powers. Candice's ability increased at the peak of her teenage years around eighteen. Everything changed though and almost everyone realized it.
When Candice was sad or angry or felt threatened her body would take over. Her strength would increase her durability and her stamina. Her body usually over heats and within a few minutes if the emotion is strong enough she usually passes out from heat exhaustion but only if it is extreme.
However when she is happy, flustered, or is protecting some one or thing she usually feels weaker but to tell the truth is stronger. Her arms and legs are faster and more durable to pain, and her senses sharpen exponentially.
Appearance:As a child and a teenager Candice's hair was almost always at the middle of her neck, she grew it out during school but cut it all of recently changing it back to it's old self. Her hair is black and shiny with bangs laying just above her eyes. Candice is five foot eight and weighs one hundred and twenty two pounds. She has pale skin and large ocean blue eyes that are usually the first thing someone notices about her.
Her basic apparel is usually short casual dresses or business apparel consisting of soft pinks, browns, yellows, blues, and blacks. She usually wears high heels and button up shirts and skirts when she is not in a dress. She wears a silver bracelet given to her by her mother and father and never removes it.
Personality:Well let's just say she's different. Candice has always been counted as the odd ball and isn't exactly sane. She is usually in the way and loves to talk when she talks about something she likes, or hates, she usually can't stop causing people to get some what annoyed of her. She is very self conscious and often wants to know what others think of her. Since entering Pacis her personality of being sweet and hyper active has mangled into a paranoid idiot with mood swings.
Her sweet personality is still there somewhere. She gets depressed easily and is often quiet around strangers. She seems calm and serene to a passer by or a stranger but if you really know her she's a bit crazy. You can tell Candice cares about her friends and family though. She still loves rabbits and playing at the beach however and hasn't forgotten who she really is.
Her idea of nice is some one who shares there opinions and there food. Candice thinks of everyone equally though she holds a small grudge against a few humans for there actions and has started to think that mutants are the better man. She thinks society is going to hell and that any day some ones going to do something that changes everything for good. She remembered being teased and made fun of because of her mutations as an adolescent girl. And if she hears a smart remark or a dumb statement she has to respond the way everyone knows she would. History: Candice was born into a family of mother and father, she has no siblings and grew up with bot of her parents. She attended eight different schools as a child and teenager until she and her mother discovered Pacis Salus.
After a few rough years going to average schools she finally went to Pacis at the age of sixteen and spent three years there. When returning home Candice found that society had changed a lot outside the island since she had left. Everything was different because of mutants. At the age of twenty she moved out from her parents house and moved to Harbor City for opportunity she had nowhere else. Her parents divorced a month before her twenty second birthday and her father died of heart failure when she was twenty four.
Candice works as a photographer for a newspaper and a few magazines she makes an average salary and supports herself, her mother, and her four year old son. Candice married at the age of twenty and had a son two years later. She divorced at twenty three and now lives alone. Her son Matt lives with her mother in California she usually visits on Holidays and birthdays.
Username: Moroseth Anaratharach Name: Fulgrim Edric Codename: Ecstasy Age: 28 Gender: Male Faction: Deceit Mutation: Fulgrim has the ability to temporarily amplify and dampen emotions and senses upon contact by toying with the recipients nervous system. He can enhance or dampen any sensation, emotional or physical, for example he is able to make minor uncertainty become absolute terror, or mild joy into Ecstatic euphoria. On the more physical side he can affect any of the senses, causing temporary reduction in vision, hearing, taste, touch, smell or any other physically based sense, at the same time he could elevate them to superhuman levels like a potent stimulant causing candlelight to be near blinding or making a whisper into an earsplitting roar. Appearance: Fulgrim is about 1.7 meteres tall with a lithe but strong build, he has excellent posture and carries himself with pride and an uncanny grace. He has medium length dark brown hair that would fall over his eyes if not brushed to perch above his right eye covering his eyebrow but leaving his face fully exposed. He has a mildly olive complexion which is complimented by his unnaturally green eyes.
When dressed casually Fulgrim is typically found wearing some variety of Grey jeans and a single coloured shirt beneath a white and red stressed leather motorcycle jacket. He dresses extremely well in formal situations, his favorite attire is a black tailored three button suit with a Maroon shirt and black tie. Personality:Fulgrim is quite intelligent, by no means a top tier intelligence in the academic sense, however he thinks quickly and is witty and strategic, excellent at problem solving and riddles. Fulgrim exerts a charisma which he abuses to it's fullest extent. He's Machiavellian in his tactics, and sees all but his closest friends as relationships of convenience, this has led to him being rather lonely although it is hidden beneath a layer of aloofness. He's generally easy to get along with, having a humorous and sarcastic nature. History:Fulgrim was born into a wealthy family, his father was the owner of a multi-billion dollar steel company, and his mother was little more than a trophy wife. He spent his early childhood as any other child would, his father believed that he should earn everything he wanted, but his mother secretly doted on him. When he was 8 his powers began to develop, they first became apparent when children no longer wanted to play games of tag with him, saying that he was "too scary" when he caught them, or that he "tagged too hard" this only got worse as he got older, and by the time he was 12 he had been ostracized by most of his peers. Lonely and bitter his parents were beginning to worry, his Father had him examined in every way he knew of and his mutation was found. Rather than have it become public he took Fulgrim out of school and had him privately tutored from home. After he had finished growing Fulgrim had more or less learned to control his abilities although some mishaps did happen in his college years. As time went on he began to intigrate his power into every aspect of his life, it made him feel like a god among ants, his power's secrecy did little more than further his own agenda, with virtually no downsides. After college he moved to Harbor city where he met several other like minded individuals who believed in Mutant superiority, he joined deceit and he remains a member although not publicly.
Username: thymeat22 Name: Aki Sarasri Codename: Frost Age: 26 Gender: Female Faction: U.N. Meta-Human Crisis Response Task-Force Mutation: Aki can manipulate cold. She can create it, remove it, or flat out manipulate it. Anything is possible for her to freeze, or heat up. From moisture in the air to a person. The closer she is to something the easier it is to manipulate. She has to know exactly where it is though. She could freeze something in a different room if she put it there, or could see it, but she would have a hard time otherwise. She has begun to be able to 'see' with her power, being able to tell where there is cold, and an extreme absence of it. It's similar to reverse infrared-vision, though she hasn't gotten the hang of it and it's not reliable.
The one drawback to her power is her inability to be around heat. Her core body temperature is almost a full ten degrees lower than the average human. Somehow, it hasn't affected any of the processes that require a certain temperature range. Everything shifted ten degrees or so. She always has a 'skin' of cold air, keeping the air directly touching her skin frigid so she won't start getting too hot. When she does, she reacts the same as anyone else, with heat exhaustion and usually passing out. Appearance: Aki's fairly average, weighing 130 and standing at 5'7". She's thin and lithe, though not without a faint figure. She has pale, almost-gray blue eyes, comparable to ice at times, and pale blond hair that reaches mid-back. She almost always has it pulled into a pony-tail, bangs escaping and hanging in or framing her face. She usually wears jeans, or shorts, and a tank-top, no matter the weather or what she's supposed to be wearing. It's a rare occasion that she will dress up. Both ears are pierced countless times, enough to get her teased about being a pincushion. A small pendant always hangs around her neck, a celtic-designed silver moon resting just at her chest. Personality: Aki's almost exactly as she was ten years before. Sarcastic, rebellious, teasing, blunt, stubborn as a mule, and cocky. She's not very trusting, though once she relaxes around a person she'll warm up and won't be as cold. She's protective of those she gets close to, and sweeter and mellower towards them as well. Her temper is well known, and that the calmer she gets the closer she is to lashing out. Few people can calm her, or make her change her mind at this point, Huilliame being one of them. History: She grew up in Oregon with the "typical" family. However, both parents had little patience for her, as she refused to be the sweet, perfect children her older brother and sister were. She constantly skipped school and went to almost every private school in three counties, at least. On a "family bonding vacation" in the mountains she ran away, unaware of the approaching blizzard. She was caught in the snow for days, and the cold seeped into her. She wasn't killed, though she almost was when her mother tried to warm her up afterward. She was happily shipped off to Pacis Salus, and she expected to hate it. She actually went regularly to class, her last two years anyway, and returned home after leaving. However, her family had been killed in a freak accident. She inherited everything, a small fortune once she sold the house.
No one was surprised when Aki went almost immediately to Alaska, finding herself in a small town in the middle of nowhere. She had bought a small house, cheaper than most appartments. There wasn't much of a demand for houses where she was, after all. She began to work for the Task Force, partially because she wasn't given much of a choice in the matter but also because she didn't see herself doing much else. She is sent anywhere most the others can't stand due to the cold, as well as some of the 'less agreeable' missions, namely assassination-type assignments. Mutants who cannot be convinced to stop killing, or any other "no other choice" situations. She doesn't have the morality issues many in her faction seem to have, so long as whoever she's sent after is definately guilty and not innocent or simply accused. After all, it's hard to catch someone who can freeze a man's blood, then let it thaw. No one would be none the wiser, it could simply be a heart attack.
Aki was in Harbor when she heard about Tess, having been visiting the others in a lull in missions. She was barely talked out of murder, Huilliame managing to do that, partially by locking her in the house until she was calmer. For the moment she is staying with him, as she does whenever she has the chance.
Username: Scythe de Zaran Name: Will DeScythe Codename: Maestro Age: 27 Gender: Male Faction: Indifference Mutation: Will has ability to manipulate sound, mainly relating to his voice. With his voice, he is able to shatter walls and objects within a wide distance. He’s not the typical singer who can only shatter glass within a small distance by matching the resonating frequency of glass. He can also change his voice to great lengths and even appear to sound like feminine. He is also able to modify the volume of his voice widely. However, his ability is useless if he is unable to make noises with his mouth. Appearance: Will hasn’t changed all that much physically. Standing at 5’ 8’’ , Will has blonde hair, emeraldy/ very green eyes. His hair is usually loose and kempt. His eyes usually sparkle with playfulness. His whole demeanor appears quite playful and lighthearted, but he can appear innocent or mean, depending on what sort of outlook he wants. He decided that appearing mean was only something he wanted to do to keep others away or hide secrets. Will’s body is well toned in muscle. His skin is pale and delicate. If he dyed his hair a dark color, his skin would appear ghostly pale. When Will smiles innocently/sweetly, it is a very welcoming smile that many find quite friendly. As for clothes, Will is modest and now more conservative/professional. He will usually wear neat jeans or other pants and a plain collared shirt. Personality: Still mischievous. Enough said. Outgoing and spontaneous at times, Will loves to prank others and cause strife, though the degree has gone down due to his position as a renowned musician. The fact is that he is slightly sadistic and masochist to some extent if he feels the need to be. Although straight, Will does not mind fooling others into believing otherwise. It’s all a game to him, and he’s quite an actor. One could call him a “lady’s man” as well. Perhaps, that’s why he’s still single. History: Will’s family consists of his mother Keladri, father Cameron, older dead brother Kent (bright engineer killed in a riot), older sister Selis, and younger 10 year old brother Kyle. Will’s family was a wealthy upper middle class one in the U.S. His father was a successful businessman with his own trading company, first based on weapons and then expanding into more merchandise and consumer goods. The company still currently exists, and Will’s father remains on the board. Cameron’s hope is that Will will take over the company some day unless his Kyle reaches age. Selis is a well known musician since as a teenager and tours the world to this day. Kyle is in elementary school. Keladri is a housewife.
Of the three older children, Will was given the least attention because of his successful siblings. His parents pampered him at times, but not enough for him. He thus resorted to pranks to get attention and to amuse himself. Once, he even managed to dress up as his sister and pose at her, completely embarrassing her at a concert. She was part of a concert and before her performance, Will ran up to the stage and … acted strangely, completely bewildering the audience. Selis had to come out, drag him off the stage, then apologize before beginning her performance. Will began learning martial arts after his brother’s death, realizing that he had to be able to defend himself.
Will’s ability was discovered during a party when became annoyed while singing. His voice suddenly changed and blew the wall next to him into pieces, frightening everyone present, and damaging the family’s reputation. The family had no choice but to send Will to Pacis Salus, despite his protests. He nearly flattened his part of his house by accident when he was taken away.
At Pacis Salus, Will learned how to control and use his abilities more efficiently and met other mutants to become friends with. While in school, Will’s brother Kyle was born. Afterwards, Will returned home to the States and completed a college education with a double major in music and neuroscience, helping to satiate his psychology interest. He even went on to get a Masters. His main instruments are the piano, violin, and trumpet. However, he performs most with the violin. For obvious reasons, he does not sing to prevent potential harm.
Now, an international traveling musician, Will has joined the trend of music running in the family. He overcame his hypocrisy of despising music yet enjoying playing an instrument by himself alone. However, he continues to enjoy playing in solitude. Sportswise, Will likes tennis and soccer. He still can’t draw for his life. Will remains single and is not actively searching for a partner in life, though his mother says otherwise.
When Will learned of his former roommate’s conviction, he questioned the decision. Being Tess’s roommate, Will had been able to learn much about Tess, and unless Tess had dramatically changed, Will did not think that the wereman was guilty. In Will’s mind, the musician wondered if he should have gone into law instead. It would possibly make life more interesting in making people despair and laugh.
Will’s tour travels have brought him to Harbor City for a piano performance. For these purposes, Will has no symbol on him, but has been encouraged by others to don a blue equal sign if necessary. Besides performing, Will hopes to meet former classmates and see how everyone is doing and see how Tess’s conviction impacted them.
Username: Trowa the Fearless Name: Sam O'Reilly (formerly Sarah Amethyst Marie O'Reilly) Codename: Martyr Age: 29 Gender: Male Faction: U.N. Meta-Human Crisis Response Task-Force Mutation: Empathy: At this point, Sam's ability has two parts. He can heal an ally by transferring their injuries (provided they aren't fatal) to his own body. Until his last year at Pacis Salus, he required a special serum to heal the wounds he transferred.
Eventually, his powers evolved to include the ability to heal the injuries received in a transfer. The amount of time it takes to heal depends on the severity of the wound; The worse the damage, the longer the time period. While he is recovering, Sam is left completely immobile. Appearance: Sam is tall, relatively thin, and fair-skinned. He has adopted a somewhat less feminine look since the birth of his daughter. His belted shirt has been replaced with a cream-coloured wool V-neck sweater, the polyester pants with a pair of light brown buttoned-down slacks, and the blue moccasins with a pair of dark brown dressy boots. He still wears a golden earring in his right ear, and the only change in his hair is the colour, which now (along with the rest of his outfit) compliments his bright orange eyes.
Personality: Sam is very outgoing and friendly. He is always willing to help a friend in need. He has also been known to get lost in thought, particularly when writing. Since his high-school days, Sam has toned down his flamboyant nature, though he is still hardly boring. History: Sam was expected to be born a girl, so his parents went ahead and put the name "Sarah Amethyst Marie O'Reilly" on his birth certificate. Unfortunately, since it was his legal name, Sam was forced to live his childhood with the constant teasing that comes with being a boy with a girl's name. Even when he started going by "Sam", the taunting didn't stop. The day after his thirteenth birthday, the girl on whom he had a crush was nearly killed in a car accident right in front of his house. He rushed to her aid as quickly as he could. He yelled for someone to call for help and held the dying girl in his arms. When the paramedics arrived, there were no injuries on the girl. Instead, they found the damage on Sam's body. They were baffled, but took him to the ER regardless. Sam woke up seven days later, his first question being, "Where's Amy?". The doctor silently pointed to the chair next to the hospital bed. The girl was sleeping in it. He smiled and laid back down to make sense of the previous week's events. Then, it dawned on him; he was a mutant. Within the next week, Sam was shipped off to the Pacis Salus School of Mutants. The only reminder of his past life was a single picture of Amy, the girl he loved.
Five years after leaving Pacis Salus, Sam and Amy were married. It was a relatively small ceremony, consisting of a few close friends and family members (at the bride's request), and the sight of Sam in a suit was met with many a smile (perhaps a giggle or two).
Sam joined the U.N. Meta-Human Crisis Response Task-Force shortly after a certain incident, in response to a written request from a friend he met during his time at Pacis Salus.
Now, after six years of marriage, Sam and Amy have one daughter: two-year-old Alwyn, named for another of Sam's friends. Along with his look, he also changed his name to the less feminine "Sam". He had reasoned that his daughter might find it embarrassing to have a father with a woman's name.

Human Profiles
Username: Disturbing Tale Teller Name: Mallory Valentine Age: 23 Gender: Female Faction: Deceit Appearance: Mal has cropped black hair and a 5'3" stature. Having a quick metabolism, she's as thin as a twig with almost albino-pale skin. She works out at the gym, though the muscle doesn't show as much physically as it does when she's lifting pounds. Small chest, she's boyish in appearance and could be mistaken for one if it weren't for her highly feminine features, including her baby blue eyes that have a slight slant from her asian-mother's heritage.
Mal always wears male clothing, hating dresses and skirts with a passion. Jeans and a t-shirt are her work clothes, while something more formal might be a button-up shirt and a nicer pair of jeans. She's often found wearing a faded black sleeveless hoodie over her clothing, the six-petal flower of Deceit in red on the back. She also has the sash, and wears that around her left forearm. Personality: Mallory has a rough attitude to go with her rough exterior. She thinks that anyone who comes up with stupid ideas, or says something stupid, aren't worth hanging around. She isn't afraid to say whatever she feels like saying, even if it's to someone she respects. A short fuse, it's very easy to piss her off. Being in Deceit makes her an interesting non-mutant, as she agrees with most of what they say. Tess was innocent, the humans screwed him over, and that Mutants should be treated as a higher being. However, also agreeing with that and working with Deceit has put her as one of the few humans who might rank the same as mutants. And she takes advantage of it. History: Mal was born in an area of old Northern Nevada. She grew up as an average kid with a tomboy streak, and seemed to hold an indifferent view on the going-ons of the world. She made several mutant friends, and also hung out with other humans. Around high-school, her mutant-friend crowd had turned into the ruffians of the school, and she still was with them. Average grades, Mutant friends, Average life.
Sometime in her senior year of high school, one of her mutant friends was murdered by a gang of human jocks after Homecoming game. A close friend she had held dear to her since her freshman year. Along with the other mutant friends, she was heartbroken and infuriated. Even after they did nothing to the jock group after, so not as to break the law, they were picked on and made fun of.
Eventually, the groups clashed again and the Jock crew were severely beat up with one dead. It was nice to keep the numbers even, though they were arrested soon afterwards. Being the only human in the group, Mal got off with two years in jail, while her friends had to remain in for another three. The court had been lenient when she pleaded their case. And her father had hired a good lawyer.
Out of Jail and onto the streets, as her parents had moved while she was in prison, Mal grabbed her stuff out of storage and moved to Harbor City. There had been one of her friends who got away who met her there and gave her a place to live, introducing her to Deceit. Tess's case reminded her of her High School case, and she vowed to work as a Deceit member. Working hard, she's slowly working up in the ranks, and they know to not treat her like the pretty-frail girl she appears to be.
Username: Chuzuka Name: Isabella Diodorus Age: Twenty Four Gender: Female Faction: Indifference Appearance:Isabella is 5’4, obviously short for age and weighs around 102lbs. Bella is covered head to toe in pale porcelain skin with a ‘neat’ scar hidden in the crease of her wrist. She has a slender figure, toned from running… a lot. As for the actual 'formation' of her body; Bella wouldn't describe herself as 'curvy' but more like 'bumps in the right places.' For a human, Isabella ironically has natural blue-silver hair that falls in loose ringlets down her back; hanging just off her hips with matching sapphire eyes. She usually travels around in an off-white colour shorts and a soft black tank top for easy movements. Bella, on random occurrences, walks around barefoot. If not, she is wearing brown leather boots that make it just above her ankle. Right below her collar bone is the letter D in elegant black writing imprinted to her skin. She believes it is to represent the family she was in but does not know for certain. Personality:Isabella is a huge confusion when it comes to her personality. Isabella is a very adventurous girl who enjoys a challenge and fun. Since her height is under average, she makes it up with her strong and positive attitude. She does not, however, enjoy being told by what to do by anyone. Isabella is usually quiet, feeling delightfully calm during the silence. She is very protective of her loved ones. Another fact is Isabella has a short temper that tends to make her blow into rage when provoked by the smallest things. She demands things get done her way but is compassionate and humble to those she warms up too. Although, she has her moments where she a very energetic, hyperactive, happy-go-lucky person. Happens rarely. History:Isabella was born in a Santorini; an island that holds a beautiful city in Greece. She lived with her mother and grandmother until she was twelve before traveled to Paris; a major city in France to live with her father. She grew up to be interested in the world around her and the news became a daily part in her life. It was until the Mutants that Bella realized the havoc that was beginning to form in the world around her. Her picture perfect world (not including the divorce of her parents) was slowly crumbling to dust because people could not deal with the fact that there are other living creatures who were different then everyone else. Her father was instantly hateful towards the mutants while her mother was hoping for the safety between the two races. That left Isabella in the dark; still not choosing a side. not even choosing both sides. She decided not to care. When Isabella turned seventeen, she bought a plane ticket to enter Harbor City. The City that held most of the events that showed up on the news. She bought a small; yet luxurious apartment in the city and unfortunately turned out to be quite the rebel. Now... she wants to see things for herself. How the news is really portrayed.

(( Here we go, guys. Sorry for the delay! Let's get this show on the road!))
Logan paced in his office at work. One hand was shoved in his pocket, where a small red-velvet box lay pinched between his fingers, as the other rubbed at his facial hair. He needed to shave. He needed to get a bunch of groceries after work, but he needed to shave before dinnertime.
Things were at a calm, for the time being, around work and he finally could get the nerve to put a nice dinner together, dress accordingly, and have Marie over. He stopped and pulled out the ring case, examining it. Opening it, it was a simple band design of gold, with small gems of opal and diamonds decorated it all around. Would she hate the ring? Would she like it? It wasn't very fancy... Maybe she would say no just because of the ring...
Remains of his birthdate was on his desk from a few days- past. Logan gave an aggravated sigh and flopped into his chair to stare at them. A hat, a noise maker, and a picture frame. In the frame he had put a picture of he and Marie at an aquarium in London within, and he squinted at the picture for a few moments. It relieved his nervousness a bit, and he relaxed a little, though his hand messed with the ring case in his pocket.
He had already invited her over for dinner, that night. That couldn't be changed. He had already pulled out some candles and some of the nicer dishware his mum sent to him from London. He just needed to bathe, shave, and get groceries before making dinner, and... and... He put both hands to his temples and rubbed them, giving a sigh to relax a little. He needed pain killers. The one guy he'd had to work with that day had a hangover, and that unfortunately lingered with him, as well.

Huilliame was sat at the desk in the U.N. building. He was busy filling in a budget form when the phone rang. "Hello? What? Your kidding? Again?" He sighed, picked up the receiver again and made a call. Logan was needed. He had dialled his voicemail box. "Hey Logan, its Huilliame. Theres been an incident and I need you to help with cchecking out the scene. If you can meet me at the Natural History Museum In half an hour it'll help." He put down the phone and sighed. He looked at his desk, cluttered with paperwork, all stamped with the U.N. logo. There were two photos on it. He looked at the nearest one of his family home, then at the further one. Aki. He had promised to go out with her later today. This meant he'd have to put that on hold til the evening. The furry blue mutant put in his earpiece, stood up and went to the armory first.
From there he picked up the standard issue mercy bullet firing folding SMG and billy club with grapple hook. Then he went to the vehicle pool where he clambered onto a blue motorcycle with the U.N. logo on the fairing. He pushed a button on the metal buckle on his collar which prompted a smooth, reflective black helmet to fold out over his head. The bike roared into life and he took off into the afternoon sun. The journey to the museum was uneventful. In the back of his mind he thought about what this incident could mean. "This is odd. From what dispatch said the patterns look like Tess, but he's in prison, he couldnt have done it. Maybe this means he was innocent...... but i cant be sureAAARGH!" His thoughts were cut off as he swerved to avoid a car that had gone into the wrong lane. This was going to make his day longer.

(( Just keep things down for a little bit until people get started. We don't want anything major, yet. ))
Logan looked from Marie's picture to the phone when it beeped at him. With a sigh, he leaned over and grabbed it, his nervousness letting him pick up on the memory of the phone being cleaned the prior night. He dismissed that from his mind as he listened to Hulliame's message. Great. A job. Maybe it will distract him enough that he wouldn't be so nervous for the night? He got up and pulled on his black suit jacket over his gray shirt and silver tie. His pin was on the breast pocket. Hopefully, investigation wouldn't take too long.
Grabbing his car keys, Logan wandered to the elevator after closing his office door, waving to coworkers as he passed by them. He'd probably wind up there early, but the sooner he figured out how long it was going to take, the better he felt about it. He mentally prepared himself as he rode the elevator down to the parking garage, pushing aside case information from earlier that day to make room for more information he would need to store. He had grabbed a paper cup of water on the way to the elevator, and now took some headache medicine that would hopefully be working by the time he got to the museum.
In the parking garage, Logan unlocked his dark metallic gray vehicle and got in the drivers' seat, the door swinging down as it closed. The electronic plug unplugged itself from the wall as he booted up the vehicle's computer, buckling his seat belt as he did. Soon, he entered the destination and backed out, heading out of the parking garage and onto the road. According to the GPS, there was an accident on the way there, so he took a detour around it. There were plenty ways to get to the museum by in Harbor City. That was something he liked about it.

The early afternoon sun beat down on Candice's head. Her hand was extended down to a little boy who looked exactly like her except shorter hair, and of course a boy. Her innocent eyes shined as they walked through the streets of Harbor city. A professional Camera hung from Her neck and swung to there movements. It had been three months since Candice had last seen her son and she wanted to spend as much time as possible with him. It was getting hot outside though and he couldn't take much more of this walking. She bent down and scooped him up into her arms. He was getting heavy and was almost to big to carry. She yawned sweetly and kept walking. Her eyes stared off into space.
Candice sat Matthew down on a bench and pulled a bag off of her shoulders setting it down. "Are you getting hungry?" She smiled removing a juice box and a package of crackers. The little boy nodded his head and let out a big toothy grin. "Okay, don't make a mess, I forgot to pack extra clothes for you today." She stabbed the straw into the juice box and handed it to him.

As two of her deadly joint dolls, one a female dressed in a black lolita outfit that was wielding two sickles while the other was a male dressed in a suite and wielding a kitchen knife, fought in front of her, Illyena sat in the warehouse that served as Deceit's base, staring into space. How boring it was to have nothing to do. There was no possibilities of causing chaos; a slight amount that would not cause too much attention would not be satisfying, but she also couldn't do anything that caused unwanted attention. And unfortunately for her, Illyena could see no happy medium.
Her intention was brought back to reality when she heard a soft clunk! and looked to a frowning doll head roll across the floor. She looked back at the other doll, who was standing over the tuxedo clad body of the other doll while smiling sheepishly. Though the doll was her favorite, it was disobedient something Illyena had put in the dolls personality despite her better judgment. She picked up the doll and threw at the wall, where it fell to the floor in a pile before getting back up, looking rather unhappy. Illyena motioned to the still decapitated body, who was now searching for it's lost head, and with a small pout the other doll picked up it's head and put it back on. With a sigh, Illyena went back to staring into space, knowing it would be a long day.

Mallory Valentine stepped into the main are of the Deceit base within Harbor City. Her eyes turned to the people wandering around, and then to a particular Puppeteer within the area. There had been a group who went out to work on a few things in the city earlier that day, but otherwise, nobody really had anything to do. Some of the groups' higher-ups were chatting in a small office off to the side of the Main Room, but other than that, people were at their homes or were lazing about.
Mal stepped up to Illyena and watched the dolls for a moment, her hands in the pockets of her sleeveless hoodie. She was wearing a black-and-white striped long-sleeve shirt under it, and a pair of worn jeans over her black converse-style shoes. Finally, she made a 'hmph.' of boredom and headed for the kitchen to get something to eat. She hadn't had anything for breakfast, so she decided a meal and plopped the dish into the microwave before leaning against the counters. Things were dull.
