So, what exactly got you into SB/RL? Did you just pick it up from the book? Saw some fics and liked 'em? When did you start shipping?
As for me, I started reading SB/RL after the fourth book. I wasn't really into Harry Potter fanfic before, but I needed something good after the unhappiness that was OotP. So I started reading Marauder's era Sirius/Remus fics. I've been a Sirius/Remus shipper ever since.

Hmmm...Bosswoman here. ^_^ I've been shipping Sirius/Remus since I read the third book. It just didn't seem right to me that Remus, after twelve years to accept that Sirius was the traitor didn't think he deserved the Kiss. Immediately after he learns that it was Peter, he's read to kill the ******** reread the book, looking for something and I came to the conclusion that they were involved, or had been, or Remus had feelings for Sirius, or...something to the like.

It sort of hit me in the head when I re-read PoA about two years ago. I hadn't picked it up the first time I read it. I was just starting to become a obsessive fan at that point and only got onto the internet once every month to check my e-mail. The shippers scared me back then, now I am one xd

I picked it up the first time I read PoA because Remus acted so oddly everytime Sirius was mentioned. I denied it for a year, and then came across the sweetest peice of Sirius/Remus fiction. I was addicted forever after that.

I was innocent even after reading the third book...I didn't really have the concept of Yaoi or Slash or anything of that nature. It wasn't until my grade 9 year where I met some girls who were into it and we ended up in that phase where every pair of male friends who were nice to each other were "so totally gay for them"...(*still in that phase*) But Sirius and Remus just sort of stuck because then you reread the third one and just go..."Awww...they <3 each other"....stupid fifth book.

I don't even remember how I got into the couple. D': Things such as these seem to happen quite.. magically.
It started somehow with LARPing. Lots of teasing fun..
I think, out of curiousity then and that I was running out of Granger/Malfoy fics, I searched around for more information on the couple.

One of the first good HP fanfictions I ever read was Sirius/Remus. That was what got me.

I read the third book and thought there was more than friendship there so I read some fics and then I was hooked!
Then we were LARPing (I was Remus) and no one was paying me any attention and as I was Remus I couldn't just do something idiotic to get attention so I pulled the person who was being James to one side and said "James is it okay to fall for your friedns?"
And that was it, it just fitted so awesomely!
It took my friends ages of me going "Look, they're so adorable together!" until they came around to the idea!

Well I read the books 1,2,4,3,5,6 because I couldn't find the third book for the life of me and then I found Goblet so I ended up reading that one before 3. -_-;; I hate that. Anyways, I started shipping them in the fifth book because untill Sirius kicked the bucket *maybe* I really had a feel for the characters. I dunno. It's just one of those weird things, I guess.

I saw it in a lot of fanfiction. I tried to ignore it, because at that point I didn't like the pairing, but...I think I became bored with the fanfiction categories I was reading, so I looked up some S/R fanfiction. Fell in love with it then. 3nodding

Oh man, that's a difficult one. I've been in love with the pair since I don't even remember when.
Well, counting the fact I've been a yaoi fan since my 7 years of age (yesh, I was a corrupted child crying ~ not my fault thou! ><), so when I read the third book, it was love at first sigh. =]
I kinda remember now; back then I was around my 12-13 years old, so I read the Prisioner about six times in a row, and I used to imagine lots of alternative stories about it XD~
The creepy thing is that the first couple I thought about wasn't even yaoi; I had created a whole new character for the series, a girl who came from france... (I'm still writing that idea down! >_<~) ...and Sirius fell in love with her, but she was in love with Remus XD
Well, the story I imagined that time I already discarted, and nowadays I actually have like, three chapters with this new character - cuz it was such a good idea I couldn't let go gonk
But with time I deepened myself in HP yaoi, and my very first yaoi couple was Remus/Sirius, and from them I started to read and find more about other pairs also ^^
Well, I think that's it XD

I started shpping this couple after I saw an anime image...in which Sirius was hugging Remus from behind, I was like eek eek wow...so I went looking for Siri/Rem fanfiction and read some REALLY good one...and fell in love with it heart heart

It just happened. One day i was reading a HarryxDraco fanfic and it hit me. Lupin and Sirius just FIT together. SInce then I've thought of no better match for the two except for eachother. I mean Honestly, they were life long friends 'till the end.
