(Anyone can enter this one if they feel like it. It might be nice to get some of the other family members(saph and JR^[have the other family members of his litter] in here but its up to whoever wants to play.) Incendo small feet ran quick through the leaves. He wasn't making much progress, but his short legs were going as fast as they could. He was hoping he might find another dragonfly that liked to set things on fire. He'd wandered from his mother to find someone more destructive. He giggled to himself thinking about the anguish he could cause others. He looked around to see if he was being following and then spotted a small bird pecking at something on the ground. 'Why didn't it fly away when I ran by? Does it have no fear of me?' He questioned silently to himself and padded over to it. He would see if this bird really had the courage to stand up to him... and his... well at this point nothing but jaws. His eyes narrowed into slits and he got down a little lower, almost trying to stalk it, they way he'd seen his parents hunt prey.

Kimmi watched as her brother Incendo began to wander quickly away from the family. What was he up to? Incendo was always out to cause trouble...at least in her opinion. She looked covertly over towards her mother and other brother and noticed that neither of them were paying attention. She then darted as quickly as her little legs would let her down Incendo's path.
There he was. She had spotted Incendo looking at a bird with his back to her. She quietly began to stalk up to him unknowingly snapping twigs and dragging her tails on the ground. Once close enough she sprung for the pounce and hoped to take Incendo off guard.

Incendo looked intently at his prey, an intensity in his eyes. It even looked at him but completely disregarded him as a foe. He was angered by this and moved closer to it, faster than he'd been moving before. he heard some twigs snapping near him and eyed his sister from the corner of his eye. 'aGHH... WHY DOES SHE ALWAYS HAVE TO BE IN MY BUSSINESS?' He thought angrily to himself. The she was trying to pounce on him. He moved last second to catch the small bird up in his mouth. Taking care not to crush it but hold onto it. He turned to her, angry and ready to run to play by himself, and have his wicked fun.

Kimmi hit the ground as Incendo darted away from her intended pounce. She shook out her tails and huffed. He always ruined her fun. Why didn't he ever want to play with her? She looked at her brother and pouted when she saw his angry reaction. They were siblings..they were supposed to play together..weren't they. "Don't be angry Incendo...I just wanted to play." Her voice had a touchy of a whiny tone.

He grumbled. 'Kimmi.... precious little kimmi...' The object of his mother's sentimental affection. He could care less that she was slightly favored. He cared more that his mother was affectionate to this sniveling little child instead of destroying her with what he knew to be her massive fiery powers. Instead of responding to her sniveling he snapped the birds wing instead his mouth and it made a horrid screech, while before it had remained in shock, scarred but silent. Now it knew it's life was at stake and he let it suffer. His brows furrowed at her and he turned to run.

Kimmi listened to her brother's mumbling and then turned rather frustrated her expression changing. She was about to speak when her frustration turned to horror as he broke the birds wings. Why did Incendo always do things like this. it was just a little bird...it wasn't good for eating...and even if he was going to eat it what was the point in torturing it?! Hr face grew angry as he turned from her and she pounced again hoping to land him this time.

Incendo was running away and that cheered him up a little until this time, he was caught off guard by his sister. She knocked him to the ground and he nearly choked on the bird before coughing it out of his mouth. It lay there pitifully on the ground, gasping for air and bleeding to death. Incendo looked to his sister angrily and shoved her off him. "What did you do that for!?" He yelled his little voice squeaking here and there. She always meddled in his affairs. Didn't she have anything better to do?

Kimmi went and stood before the bird a tear slowly running down her cheek. Their mother had always told them how the circle of life had worked, and that to take a life without need was an atrocious act. The fact that he insisted on torturing the bird as well was horrid. She laid her paw on the birds neck and placed enough pressure on it to snap the neck and end the birds suffering. Then she whirled around to Incendo and repeated is question back at him with just as much force. "What did you do that for Incendo?"

"Why? Why did I do that? More like why did you do that!?" He looked to the now dead bird, and sighed. "We were only getting started... we were getting to the good part... and instead you cut it short... you took it's like when it was mine to take!" He nosed at the dead bird a little watching it's nerves twitch lifelessly..

"Yours to take!? " her voice squeaked as she quivered in anger at his words. "Don't you ever listen to mama Incendo! We don't take lives unless its necessary for food or self protection. What did the little bird peck your paw!?"

"Yes. Mine." His voice had a certain clearness to it that was out of place, creepy even. He even felt it himself but stood strong not letting her know that even his was scared of himself at times. "No... I don't just do what I've been told! I question everything! Like why does that bird have to be living? What would it look like dead? ... and... no it was just alive, simple enough. It breathed so I wished to force the air from it's lungs. I need no reason." He scoffed and scampered farther away from her.

Kimmi furrowed her brows and her tail fur stood on end when she heard his tone of voice. That tone was not a tone she could ever use herself and never wanted to hear it again..yet she knew that Incendo used it often. However a simple shiver up her spine would not calm her anger. She couldn't understand her brothers logic and wanted him to stop. "But you don't have to kill an innocent bird to question things. You want to experiment ...experiment on something your going to eat afterwards at least...How can you let yourself be so cruel to the creatures around us Incendo. Please...help me understand." She took a few steps towards him as he scampered away and hoped he wouldn't run for it.

Incendo growled looking at the little bird laying at his feet now. "Someone... someone like you just wouldn't understand!" He yelped out the last part and grabbed the bird running off with it.

"Someone like me? What is that supposed to mean!? We are family Incendo. If anyone could understand you its me!" She took off after him as fast as her little paws could take her. Her tails kept tripping her up and she even somersaulted once. Kimmi wasn't going to let him just run away though.

He ran towards a near by rocky cliff area and darted towards an opening. In a moment he was inside the small cave entrance and then gone from sight since the cave was completely dark inside.
