It has to be!!! She revealed a painful past!! (which all other strawhats have revealed b4). She has a very important figure that died in her revealed past. All strawhats also have one in their past all of which have a handicap or is dead.
eg:
Luffy - Shanks
Zoro - Kuina
Nami - Bellemere
Usopp - his mom
Sanji - Zeff
Chopper - Doctor Hiriliuk
Robin - Saul
Franky - Tom
Brook - Yorki

Hancock - Fisher Tiger

I just don't see her joining.
1. She's a Shichibukai, and doesn't want to give that up.
2. She is too much of a controle freak to let any one order her around.
I think Luffy will spend more time with her than we think, but I honestly don't think she will join.

yeah she is a shichibukai but she hates the world government. Proofs: she doesnt want to go to the shichibukai summoning even though her rank is on the line. She hates the guys (i forgot their names) that enslaved her and her sisters. Besides don't u think once the world government spots her NOT trying to capture Luffy but instead taking him anywhere he pleases, they'll remove her rank anyway for assisting a dangerous pirate?
And uhmmm i havent seen her as a control freak....

You never know what Oda has up his sleeve man, he just might let Hancock join because its so unexpected !!! that would be friggin awesome, it's not like luffy is only gonna recruit people a little lower than him on the power scale, just imagine the awesomeness!!!!,
only bad thing .... there will be some conflict between hancock and sanji xd hahahaha

her role is not really important right now. But maybe she could like lure pirate crews in and then once they're close enough the rest strawhats can ransack their ship.
But not every strawhat job is a necessity
eg:
Zoro - Swordsman
Usopp - Sniper
Robin - Archeologist
Brook - Musician
But all jobs are important
i'm pretty sure if hancock joins her job won't be a necessity.

At first I hated Hancock, but now she seems that she could be rather cool/nice. I actually hope that she does join the Strawhats. That could be fun xd

I'm not a 100% sure if she will join or not. Who knows, Hancock could be like Vivi and Conis. I mean, how many people thought those two were going to join the crew?

I highly doubt she'd join the crew, but just because she's already a Shichibukai, the captain of her own crew, and that's she's too arrogant to get along with everybody else in the Strawhats. She's just a method of transportation to Marineford right now x'D

It's a possibility that she will become part of the crew, but it's also a possibility that she won't...
since well, there's also the chance of Luffy telling her to stay a Shichibukai to protect that Island that is if she asks to join.
It's mainly a maybe will happen, we won't know until Eiichiro Oda tells us sort of situation. For me.. it doesn't really matter though it will cause quite a bit of chaos if she does join. Both including the World Government and Sanji. xD

I would like her to...She appartently has a crush on Luffy, so she could stay a bit for an arc or two at the very least. I don't see her just abandoning]/i] him.

Since she is in love with Luffy and the previous empresses died whenever their love was denied; it is pretty risky for Boa to ever leave Luffy. If Boa ends up not joining the crew, Oda will probably have an interesting explanation of what happens to her. (And even though I don't like her very much, I do hope she doesn't die and I'm not expecting that to happen, anyway.)
Also, Boa still seems a bit cruel to me; I'd only see her joining if Oda delves even further into her personality and shows us her remediable traits. Or anything that would make us love her just like we love the rest of the crew.

I can see it heppening.
Of corse for the control thing I can see it happening since she is in love with Luffy; the captain. She would go to the ends of the earth it seems for him; and her actions of going to Impel down with him in stow prove this. Then again she could possibly styay behind since her job is an empress.
When the whole ordeal is over I can see Luffy changing her for the better and promising to come back to her somehow; he oblivious to the fact that she likes him. The idea of her joining the crew is interesting enough though...
