On the door to Manaik's abode there is a solitary sign.
It was made in the darkest of humor, and left there for all to see.
In its gruesom awe, it only left for one request to be heard by the 8th Espada...
it simply read
"if you find any lost memories, would you bring them by" sweatdrop ?

One day, walking around as if he appeared out of thin air, Maniak saw a direction he felt like walking in. He went there and came upon an abandoned hallway, a... decrepit wing. It was unused, it was bare. It had a cold darkness about it.
Maniak's face warped into a grin, and he walked into the darkenss...

Entering the castle like building, Gato strolled the halls. Wandering around, he saw another arrancer looking out the window. "Hi!" Gato said, gesturing a motionless wave. He was sort of childish since he was the youngest out of all the arrancers."Watcha doin Mr. Arrancer" His eyes where closed and there was a smile on the young arrancers face.
He had a small frame like a girls, compared to the older arrancer he had not introduced himself to yet. Pouncing up onto the window seal, his stature was in a animal crouch. Standing on the ball of his feet Gato yawned "Watcha lookin at?"Gato asked, whiplashing his head from left to right, trying to see what the arrancer was so drawn to outside.

"The following, I suppose. Patterns that all these insects follow daily because they are not strong enough. And its Mr. Espada to you." he said, turning away from the window.
The Hollow outside had begun to annoy him. He grew tired of watching them fight eachother. Right now there were ones out there trying to bring a Menos down. What did they plan on doing, sharing him? Maniak knew how it would end, like always.. They would eat him, then fight over the remains, then devour and kill eachother afterwards, leaving one hollow, confused and stronger stumbling away from it alone.
"Its disgusting, what about you, Gato? What is your situation?" he asked, a bit Morbidly.

A cartoonish sweat bubble came upon Gatos face "Gahh thats depressing" Gato looked at the arrancer staring into his eyes as a sign of respect. Responding to his qeustion, Gato said "Im here for the same reason everyone is Mr.arrancer" A small smile could be seen upon his face. "My life is worthless and meaningless...but if that is so...then my existence must be worth and mean something." the smile dissapeared as he turned his head towards the skys and started to daydream. There was no emotion on his face. A few seconds had past and the smile reappeared. "Im hungry big brother."

Maniak's face was now the one with the sweat bubble.
"Gyah, big . . whatever, I say if anything we would feed, in Earth..." he growled, meniachally.
He got the creepy feeling that he was like Frankenstein, and this plan was a messed up creation of his that the villagers would get pissed at. But then again, he knew that shinigami would be there, and more souls....
that was all it took, One thought about souls and Maniak's stomach began to hurt again. It was a cruel pain, mocking him, for it was true that he had not devoured a single hollow since he found the lair which is Las Noches.
"I have been wanting some action for a while now." Maniak spoke, as he opened a Garganta right out in the hallway. "I go, you follow."
Just to be safe I'll go first, and deal with anyone on the other side.

Gato smiled in excitement for food. His stomach growled to when big brother started to talk about hollows. Gato nodded down in a gesture of alright or yes, waiting for a garganta to be opened.
Gato hopped off the window seal, landing lightly on the ground. Holding his arm, Gato leaned his back against the wall. His smiled grew bigger, making his eyes shut. His face calmed down as he kept his eyes shut, dozing off before the first garganta was even opened.

((My zanpakuto and me are entwined in a manner, and La Solidad has manipulation over the shadow dimension, so don't be surprised))
In the room, a Garganta opened up, appearing like a screen in the wall. It shone brightly an image of a town, and floating in front of it was Maniak. Standing on the ground were 3 people dressed in soul reaper outfits. One of them was a werewolf, and the other two humans. Then, there was a quincy with a bandaged head, closing a garganta adjacent from the one connected to the room with one of his spirit arrows.
All of the sudden, out of a shadow on the floor appeared a smoky, whispy version of the 8th Espada, known as Maniak.
"It is time, wake up now and feed. We must exterminate these flies first though.." he whispered to Gato. Then the image seemed to simply melt back into the shadows.
It was apparent that this was simply an illusion, a messenger calling for him to join Maniak in the real world.

Gatos eyes opened slowly, waking gato from his nap. Starving and now grumpy. Not seeing the appearance of big brother had to mean maniak was already on the other side. Gato waited for another garganta to open.
A few minutes went by and a garganta appeared. Looking into the darkness, gato could already hear another voice(quincy) speaking from the other side. Gato stepped into the garganta awaiting for some action on the other side. Gato had a big smiled, even though he was frustrated with the waking of his nap. Yawning his way through as he scratched the back of his head...
Gato had faded into the darkness of the garganta, and the last thing that could be heard from him was a loud yawn.

A while after the excursion to Earth, Maniak came back to his wing, silence was exercising itself as usual. He noticed something new, he had something replaying in his mind now. A new memory, one of him and others.
This made him smile to himself, for he was not growing... Before he had no memories, and now after that incident he now knew the shinigami Saiko, he knew Jason, he knew Rawtoon; he knew the quincy Asai, he knew Shio. These people had not only succeeded in making themselves one of the first memories of Maniak, but they made themselves the only people Maniak knew. That wasn't good, because in a crowd of shinigami, now Maniak were more likely to pick one of the shinigami he recognized than another.
"Suckers . . ." he growled, walking further into his wing, letting the shadows consume him.

Days pass in Las Noches, and Maniak only had the consumption of his own kind to look forward to. Repeatedly he went out in search of those who would become his meal. He had no remorse, the only thing close was the disappointment of not veing given any challenge. He knew that it was not fair though, for many of the gilian and adjuchas he slain could have made it to being in an Arrancar form someday.
"Arrgghh, if they wanted to live, they shouldn't have given me their powers anyways!" he said, for it was true.
They'd neer have made it if they couldn't stop him from extinguishing their lives. With that philosophy, his entire stay in Las Noches was something near an endless test of power. He would challenge anyone other than his and the Espada, and in doing so he would gain power himself. This is why he, theManiak Espada, had the strongest cero.

Arrancar lemo walked down the long, and dark corridor. He was now serving under the 8th Espada, and needed to understand his will to completely make use of his abilities. The unsettling feeling of somebody following him remained pasted to him like a ******** stamp. But is didn't matter, for Lemo was not afraid, and knew everything about the fortress. The ground under his began to accumulate frost, just with him being ther for only seconds yet.
"Master, where are you at?" he asked, in an odd feminine-ish tone. He was talking to himself, and joking at that. A coy smile appeared on his face as he walked further still.
"Oh master? Please, don't hide from your subordinates. After all, we do so much for you . . "

Maniak appeared, and rose from the shadow Lemo had trailing behind him. It was all well that Lemo actually sensed that there was someone with him, for the worst thing to do in the Maniak wing would be to be walking around without keeping your whits about you. You never really can understand when something is going to happen, until it does.
"Fool, quit wasting time, we have work now." Maniak said coldly. "Come now, Aizen has given us word."
He was ready to go to the SoulSociety, to get back at these insolent shinigami that had defied him before. This time, the upperhand would change, and there would be more, interesting outcomes.
