I got another message from youtbue about GoDigital Media Group and coppy writes....I had my videos on privet and was only posting stuff I filmed my self and things that had music or sound effects in the back ground such as animations or AMVs I had long agoe taken down movie and TV and video game clips I thought I was in the clear looks like youtube is trying to do away with all forms of music usage.
the other thing I wounder is how do companies sift threw 1,000,000s of videos to listen to the music and watch the content to Identify the rule breakers?
the video in question was a series of animations I made my self set to music and sound, Im trying to recall what songs may have triggered the action I don't use a lot of music from pouler artists...

I don't believe the suits actually sift through the videos. I think (A) they have someone do it for them, (B) Someone sees it and they just pass it up the chain, or (C) Someone reports it for copyright infringement, and they actually DO look for videos to report.

Yeah I know same..I had a video with a song by the Venga Boys and like no one knows them but my video still got removed.

User created content means you shouldn't have used anybodies music unless you had their permission. Doesn't matter if it was popular or not.

Yeah. But seriously? I put another video on and it had a song by Mozart on it and it got removed.
CANT EXACTLY GET PERMISSION FROM A DEAD GUY!

Who /performed/ the Mozart music? It depends on whoever did the work, and hardly ever do the writers get the credit... -sadface-

Mozart. It was my grandpa's cd and he gave it to me.
I did even credit him even though he is dead.

Ahhh.
I see.
I'm sadd, cuz all of my videos and favorites got removed from my account.
And I was just finally starting to get like 1000 views on each video.
And it was YouTube's fault.
