Who are your favorite bands? What do you like? Any genre preferences?

I don't prefer any one genre because any genre who's music I have is a genre I can't like widely enough to say I actually like. To clarify, my favorite bands are Weird Al Yankovic, Moxy Früvous, Honeycut, and Franz Ferdinand. I also like a lot from Earth Wind and Fire, but I wouldn't call them a favorite. I plan on getting Ambulance LTD's album, "LP." And one of my favorite albums is Smash Mouth's Astro Lounge. Look up any artists there who you don't know, and there's a lot of difference.

Anyway, I got Weird Al's Bad Hair Day CD recently. It's pretty good. Now I have five of their albums, those albums being Even Worse, Alapalooza, Running With Scissors, Dare To Be Stupid, and Bad Hair Day. I don't know which one I like the most, I suppose it could be a close call between Dare To Be Stupid and Even Worse. Oh and I also have his music video collection DVD and the entire Weird Al Show on my computer (bought it on iTunes, but I still have plans to get the DVD set)

My music taste is all over the place. I can't classify a particular genre, but I have 'Shiny Happy People' by REM right before 'Feuer Frei' by Rammstein on my playlist at the moment.

        Oh wow. Why does everyone ask this? ><;
        My music tastes are all over the place.
        It's near impossible to find a genre I don't like, from slow-sung songs to game music and everything in between.
        Right now? I'm listening to "Drop the Bomb." I'm pretty sure it's from DDR.

Yes, it's from DDR. Both versions (as in regular and System S.F. mix). It's an OK song. I used to really like it a lot but I guess it just got old.

        Especially if you keep it on repeat for a while.
        When I first heard it, I was obsessed. Ah, what dorky days. >>;
        And yay for iTunes being on shuffle! Gives good variety, ya know? :]

I always leave mine on shuffle. It's great when I have friends over since I told my computer that I want it to give good "situation music" so it does. Like if a poke-fight erupted or something like that, there'd be a good chance of getting Beans and Weenies or Highly Strung or The Odd Couple theme.

        Haha! Wow.
        That would be great. I had this mental image of all these stick figures brutally attacking with their... finger/hand things?
