I've been part of this guild for at least a couple of weeks but, I cannot believe I didn't share this before.

I'm unsure if they would have used parchment paper and quills in these time periods but, for me, they are awesome and are part of the time period.

They sell real feather quills but also inkwell quills--the ones you need ink bottles for and need to keep dipping in the ink to keep writing. They also sell parchment paper, sealing wax, embossers, and sealing prints.

I have one of the quills, some of the wax, a sealing ring and some parchment paper. They work very well, especially at Christmas time.

Note, however, that sealing wax will peel skin no matter how fresh the spill x.x

I've also found that Wal-Mart sells ribbon that works will with wrapping the parchment paper.

I have attempted making my own seal before but it has not came out very nicely. gonk

It's all right. I figured some one else here enjoys quills, parchment and sealing wax/sealers as much as me. I was so excited when I found these. I can also vouch for the authenticity of their products and the website.

Awesomeness! I must say I never knew a site like this existed. I love quill and inks. I even bought one when I went to Barnes and Nobles here and though I haven't found my quill in a while >< I still enjoy writing with it.

Wow,when did you find this deliteful site?

I found the parchment and quill while on a trip to Connecticut and the quill had a paper about it with the website. I was so happy!

Beautiful site! I love writing and stationery sets, and this all seems to be fairly priced. This year for Christmas I am writing my letters and gift tags with parchment, calligraphy and sealing wax, and this site is a great way to expand my collection. Thanks! 4laugh

Hello! I enjoyed the site also. Christmas gift tags with parchment, calligraphy and sealing wax is a wonderful idea. Great idea for any occasion! Very special added touch. heart
