Now that Kataklysm's North America tour is officially over, I can proudly say that I went.
Keep of Kalessin started off the night and they were mediocre. Did a decent enough job of headbanging and windmilling, but their set wasn't very long.
Eluveitie came on next and they were sensational. The crowd started yelling things like, "this is the nerdiest band I've ever see!" and "What the f--- is a flute doing in a metal band". Needless to say, I was at a concert with some very uneducated people. But lucky for me everyone pretty much cleared the front when they started to play so I got center- front inbetween Chrigel and Anna. They were even better here than they were at Paganfest, easy. I really couldn't tell you, if they got the crowd going or not, I pretty much lost it and went nuts. I'm sure I was a sight to see to say the least.
After Eluveitie was Dying Fetus, and that had to be the most boring band I have ever seen play live. All they did was stand infront of the mic and scream. After a song ended, they'd say Motherf---er with a few words inbetween the motherf--ers.
Finally after a grueling hour of standing through Dying Fetus, Kataklysm came on. The guys were reallt sweet and they played a good set. This time I got immediate front, right in front of their lead singer. Lol, at point he grabbed my hand and held onto it for a bit, that was cool. Then a little bit later while I was throwing my fist into the air with the music, he threw his fist staright to mine. xp
So good concert, Kataklysm and Eluveitie were the reasons I went, and they didn't disappoint. The downside is that none of the other bands didn't surprise me either.

My Hollow Naw, they were all just really sweet guys. Very humble and very nice to the crowd. After their set ended instead of running off the stage like everyone does, they all walked up to the front and shook people's hands.
