Just a theory I came up with recently regarding how Remus knew that Sirius was dead when he fell through the veil.
Remus was an Unspeakale during the first war. It wasn't learned until later that he was a werewolf and by then he had already gotten in too far for them to risk obliviating him so he is well in the know on what the veil may or may not be and of the importance of many of the other items in the Department of Mysteries. *shrugs* It is also an excellent explanation for why Sirius may have thought him the spy because he knew (the prophecy perhaps or other important information) that Sirius thought only a Death Eater would know.

Hmm........maybe that really did happen. It is in the realm of possibilty...... confused but who knows..? Unless J.K Rowling reveals it in the seventh book we may never know.

I think the not was added...*looks up at the page* yeah, Rem's gone and edited her mistake away. Either way, its a good theory. It might even be true.

It's possible. But I'm not sure that the Ministry would have let such an important issue as Remus's werewolfism (is that the right word?) slip by unnoticed. Granted they ARE dunderheads so they might...
It is possible though, I'll give you that much.

I wrote up a list of laws that might have been made to prevent Remus from getting a job ever. It basically took away all of his rights and made him into a Jew back in 1943. Umbridge is the second signer.
As for Remus' emplyment as a Ministry worker, I sort of believed that at one point in the Wizarding world, they had the same views as the army. "Don't ask, don' tell," toward werewolves, but if they somehow found out, you were ******** gone.
*shrugs* I don't know, maybe.

Wow, I'm surprised people actually agreed with my theory. Most of the crap I come up with everyone thinks is stupid. Like that time when I was reading PoA and I told my friend Cassie that Sirius Black was going to wind up innocent...it just seemed too easy for him to be the bad guy.
Meanwhile, she's at around the same part I am (just before they go down to Hagrid's, and she basically told me that was stupid. I got to taunt her later though. ^_^
Who knows...we may never know more about Remus...we'd better or I'll scream...but we don't know until we get proven wrong.

I don't think Remus was an unspeakable, I mean the Ministry keeps a register of who's a werewolf and who isn't right? I don't think Rem was working at the Ministry... ninja

Moony Wolf I don't think Remus was an unspeakable, I mean the Ministry keeps a register of who's a werewolf and who isn't right? I don't think Rem was working at the Ministry... ninja I agree with that. I think that the ministry would want to keep Remus as far away from them as possible.

Bell_Hiyama Er.. what's an unspeakable again? sweatdrop I'm not really used to the english terms yet... The Unspeakables are the people who work in the Department of Mysteries in the Ministry of Magic. They aren't allowed to talk about their jobs to anyone, thats where the name comes from.
