MCcain or Obama?
PostPosted: Fri Oct 17, 2008 12:53 pm

i think obama should be president...
he has more things to give and help the economy with, and he wants to really help those with low income wages....
EX:those with less than 22k dollar income yearly dont have to pay more taxes than usual.

Whoever becomes the president, we're screwed. The human race cannot save itself from destruction, not by electing a single person to try and change the world, then leave it all on his/or her shoulders.
Even as we debate and fight among ourselves over which canidate has better veiws/the right race and religion, millions of dollars are being spent on advertising and other campaigning needs, money that could be used for better things.
We will all eventually destroy the planet and annihilate ourselves and every other living thing. It is too late to do anything to change that, even if everyone did want to change. The human race is doomed by it's own selfish need for power and riches.

Hm, your logic is more of a theory. You do not know for certain wether the human race is "doomed" or not and nothing can change it. There has been no changes because everything seemed fine until now. Therefore there is no way you can tell if it can be changed or not, what because you walk out the door and it is hotter and more humid than usual? So this causes you to stamp "doomed" on the forhead of humanity rather than giving some hope in saving ourselves and picking the right leader for our country... Yes tis true that we are spending money on advertisment and we are even in debt by millions and even billions of dollars, but wouldn't you want to change that by picking someone to change that?? Yes, I doubt either one could change the WORLD but maybe, just maybe, they could help our economy and the way things are ran here. Isn't that 'maybe' worth trying to gain, rather than sitting infront of a keyboard and a screen saying that "it's too late" and "we are doomed" and just.... ignorantly giving up?

Voting for President is just voting for the lesser of the two evils. Obama is smart but how can you have a President that won't say the pledge of Alliance. He is a self-proclaimed muslim. Don't smart in my head. As for McCain, I don't even know what to think about him. But again, like I said it's the lesser of two evils.

Obama! The lesser of two evils! I can't stand McCain and Palin! They are against abortion, even in cases of rape or incest. Now that's messed up.

That's a whole nother agurment there, but our country is going to hell anyway, (not meaning regiliously, just that there couldn't be anything else they could do to us.)

User Image I'm not American but I'd say Obama, if only for the change. McCain seems too similar to George Bush, who as we know really is a screw up. I'd think with Obama you'd be voting for a change and a fighting chance, with McCain you'd be voting for more of the same.
