The moment had finally come. After a long day of combat, there were now only two warriors remaining: the sagacious Kendo Foxx, who had triumphed in one fight after another, proving to be as skilled as his years would suggest, and the ruby locked kitsune Red, who proved to be a contender in Round One, only to fall on the most ridiculous luck thereafter. Sure to be to their relief, both fighters were bathed in light once more, being removed from the volcanic pit in exchange for a more temperate body of water.

Their vision may or may not be of any use to them in this environment, but all around them was water, a huge sphere of the stuff held together by an invisible, sphere shaped container. Properly, the fighting radius from the center of the sphere was 40 feet, falling short of the previous ring. However, the 360 degree environment would hopefully more than compensate and encourage a bit of creativity from the contestants. Of interest to both warriors would be the convenient fact that the water was breathable, breaking down as it filled their lungs to provide them with a constant air supply.

Beyond this giant ball of liquid was a basic, cold, grey, cubic room. On either side, the walls, ceiling, and floor were mere 15 feet away from the water surface. An exceptionally hard blow would likely equal ring-out unless the competitors could defy gravity or the laws of physics in general.

It was fitting that the student should face the teacher in the final round. Had he taught her enough to beat him?

Before either contestant begins, please prepare an entrance post of your own to indicate you are prepared to start and once again roll a 20 sided die via post action. Whoever rolls the higher number will be responsible for the initial fight post. All warriors are advised to keep count of the number of posts because no post after the specified limit will be considered for the tournament. One method is to include the post number every time your character makes a move. At this moment, all profiles have been pulled and will be forwarded to the judges. If at any point your character does something not clearly specified in your profile, you will be asked to edit the post or be disqualified. Good luck to you, and may the fight begin.

Stepping back to meet to brace his opponents impromptu counter, the by now familar feeling of disassociation with the area had at once come over him. The decree of the victor had been passed, his muscles relaxing.

What happened next would have likely been jarring to the average indivdual but even as his vision once more was restored, the disassociation of body from atmosphere was left in thrall. Grasping his injured arm the good limb moved with the languid grace of being submerged.

Laughing heartily it seemed that his final field was none other than augmented water field of sorts. It seemed the host of this tournament very much was going for a elemental theme as he surmised prior. Save for the ability to breathe normally, there seemed to be no other strange occurrences.

Adjusting himself to the lag times associated with is new locale he once more set his attention his fractured arm. Grasping the damaged limb he twisted the bone with a distinct crack. Waggling his fingers the healing process was already underway.

Scanning the waters that surrounded him he smirked making note of his next opponent, his brow raised in amusement.

"Ah, so your my fourth round opponent. This is turning out to be an disctinctly interesting event. Show me what you learned in this time."

Rocking his neck from side to side the very "water" that resided around him seem to receded and converge as if pulsing.

((I'll make an effort to post, but until I return to the states, nothing will be regular))

Never before had victory tasted so sour. Whether for better or worse, Yo-ko was no longer a priority. The match was hers, but Red did not feel the least bit of satisfaction. In fact, fury blinded her, forced to wait again for the round to end. Though she appeared calm, collected, and indifferent, when she was displaced from the volcano pit - something she didn't even notice - her new locale responded emphatically.

Visible air bubbles rising through the now boiling water returned her to her senses and informed her of a new locale; a tank of water in which she was submerged. Importantly, she was aware that her lungs were still rising and falling. Somehow she could still breathe; clearly this aquatic container holding her was not meant to increase her sense of urgency.

Observing her rather plain surroundings, she took note of the advantage she might have in this round. However, she was more concerned with the disadvantages, the primarily her skirt. She would not need her feet to swim necessarily - though it would be simpler - but if she needed them for combat at all, and she was sure she would, there could be problems. Surely her opponent would be aware of this fact.

This thought was finished with a salutation from a familiar voice - of sorts. Until that moment, she had actually paid little attention to who she would be fighting. Although she could not see him clearly, it was obvious that this round, though she felt cheated into it, would compensate for past irritations. Perhaps she might leave satisfied after all.

"All things considered, I suppose you'll prove a more reliable combatant than the last two men." Even so saying she could not ignore Kendo's injured arm, which he had begun repairing. She decided to at least give him a generous amount of time to recover from whatever had happened to him. It was the least she could do considering she was basically walked through the last two rounds.

No matter how she thought it over, she was at a greater disadvantage than she cared to reveal. This fight would require a great deal of innovation on her part. With her mentor being close to healed, she accepted taking it all in turn.

First, she had to tend to her skirt. Grabbing the fabric at her waist with both hands, she measured out a good length of it and began to tear. She ripped it horizontally to the left as far as she could go and then to the right until the top and bottom portions were completely severed. Drawing her knees in, she removed the bottom hem and cast it away, a weak current dragging it a safe distance. What remained was an uneven job, but the skirt was long enough at least to cover the lower portion of her thighs and fell no lower than her kneecap on the left side. It would do.

She took off for Kendo immediately, moving through the water with the grace of a dolphin. Red apparently was quick in the water, even for human standards, but it was nothing compared to how she could move on land. Her approach was direct, but as she neared her target, she veered to the right, his left, her entire body leaning it. Her left foot, however, did not get out of range, as she twisted her horizontal body counterclockwise to deliver a heel kick between the eyes.

[Post 2]

The blood of lazuras was a remarkable substance. Were he an normal person it would have taken a month to heal the damage he had received at the hands of Cain, but it had been mere minutes and the bone was all but restored.

Red seemed to have taken notice as well as she was already preparing herself for combat. Taking a deep breath (As strange as that was being submerged in liquid), he watched as she did away with the lower portion of her skirt as to allow greater freedom of movement.

Smirking beneath the myriad of scarves that now clung to his face, he closed his eyes readying his muscles to retaliate at a moment's notice. Like clockwork the younger Kitsune sprang forth darting at him with precision despite the foreign atmosphere. Loosening his muscles he allowed himself to be guided by the unseen currents that danced about them his limbs seeming to wriggle about as if poessesed.

As the woman's heel careened for his face, the back of his right forearm intercepted its trajectory deflecting it further to right. Using his superior range he darted his left hand forward aiming his fingertips toward the base of her rib cage. Curling his fingers back at last minute, the snapping motion would increased the force behind his punch.

Just as she anticipated, he was fighting her as an equal.

Her leg being redirected in the opposite direction of the rest of her body abruptly paused her linear travel and her bodily rotation, leaving her facing him at an angle neither horizontal nor vertical. Bringing her right arm in, she swung it outward to deflect his attack at the wrist. In one fluid motion, as her wrist rotated, she would be able to wrap her hand around this joint and continue guiding it outward, drawing him nearer, but also forcing his body at a similar angle. Resistance would assist in her correcting her stance; either would suit her.

Rather than answer with a blow to his trunk, she decided to twist his wrist counter-clockwise so that the back of his hand would face away from her, expecting the rest of his arm would follow suit, so that a swift blow from her left arm would dislocate his elbow.

Upon having his wrist deflected, he ironically thought to rotate his own wrist in tandem. In a fluid motion of his own he proceeded to bat back her upper forearm with his pointed wrist. In effect likely keeping her from guiding his arm into an advantageous situation.

Having likely occupied the majority of her attention on his left arm, his right had rotated back around and was arching for her abdomen from below. Dealing with his left would likely keep his right out of her peripheral range.

She was denied his wrist, but accepted the forearm, probably displaying what looked like distraction as her deflecting arm was in turn deflected, but persisted to gently take a hold of his arm. She could not see the punch coming in for her abdomen properly, but she could detect it through the subtle changes his body made to execute the attack, mostly around the shoulder area.

Her response was to move in, by guiding his forearm outward. This would allow her to get within range, as her limbs were shorter than his own, to offer a backhanded punch with her left fist - no longer needed for the elbow - toward his left temple. The change in tactic would be noticeable, and would only throw her toward his fist, but it would serve.

Simultaneously, should her attack fail, she intended to soften the blow of his assault by using her tail. Being a tail, it lacked the force for a deflecting strike, but it could still roll along his incoming arm with enough force to guide the punch down into her upper thigh/lower pelvic region.

Her incessant need to grab his limb was something he found peculiar. He had already proven his skill breaking holds consecutively.

Yanking his arm back as she attempted to guide his arm out again, he pulled through her fingertips, countering her backhand with a downward chop.

His punch from below had been knocked off course by her tail just as she intended. Upon connecting, he first struck with his knuckles. Rolling his wrist forward a second blow struck from the back his hand. A third and final blow ended the progression striking at an angle where his wrist and forearm met.

He had made a point of not wanting to be grabbed a while ago. She truly wasn't trying so much to hold him as take hold of him; firm, but not threatening.

As it was, his response was to jerk his arm away and cancel her backhand out with a downward chop. Noting this, she simply let her arm drop - preceding his defense - to reduce resistance. She also took the opportunity to position herself behind him, her left arm wrapping around his waist like a hug.

His attack was relatively successful, the first two strikes meeting the same mark, and likely it would bruise swiftly. The third successive strike brushed by as she moved, and she couldn't tell, but it was probably for the best. Any substantial amount of force might have recoiled and caused him to break his own arm at the wrist.

Knowing he could do what she could do, she made sure to press close so that his tail would have difficulty intercepting the attack between his bottommost right ribs. As it came around, the fist was solid, but she would extend her index knuckle near the last minute so as to minimize the chance of injury should he block or resist.

The chop struck with little effect as she had counter acted it by relaxing her arm. Feeling her slide around him to his back he proceeded to drill her between the legs with his tail and widen her stance by ricocheting between.

This would have likely been been more effective had she been a man, but being struck between the legs didn't feel good for anyone. To further exacerbate situation, having trained with his tail to balance his own weight had made the 5th appendage a strong as any of his other limbs. Widening his stance in tandem he awaited impact from an unseen blow.

Her blow would still land but would be immediately answered by him reaching and grasping her from behind her head and slamming her neck into his shoulder.

The response from his extra limb proved formidable enough, even considering the meaty flesh it lashed at. Her response after a few or more blows was to clamp her legs together, either ensnaring his tail or at least preventing the assault to her inner thighs.

It was customary to fight through the pain, but she was unsure as to whether her punch, seemingly successful, had registered. His ribs parted somewhat, but nothing broke insomuch as she could feel. Rather, his reaction alarmed and confused her. She was a foot shorter than he, and being so close to him, she did not fear he could do much unless he planned something unspeakable. Nevertheless her body stiffened for a brief moment.

In response, she tightened her grip and repeated her assault. Her target this time was the center of his right abdomen, palm opened and fingers braced like claws to dig through cloth into his flesh. With success, she'd immediately proceed to rip outward, with as much of his torso as she might manage to get through the fabric.

Her punch struck likely leaving a bruise or a welt. Mana treated leather was considerably more durable than its non magical variant, but the enchantments didn't reflect all.

He had only portended to apply enough force to strike a pressure point at the base of her neck to stun her, but it seemed to have done little but alarm her. Releasing her neck he proceeded to apply pressure to her temples with the base of his palms. This attack worked to disrupt the same nerve clusters and arteries exploited in a sleeper hold.

She would immediately feel light headed and hopefully recognize that if she didn't release him she would be rendered unconscious. It was foolish of him to have allowed himself to be held as such for so long. But as this wasn't a fight to death. Such was the only thing he could think of.

"Good start I would say..."

It was clear she was attempting to strike him again, but she would likely jar her fingers rather than actually deal much in the way of damage. IT didn't help that her movements were likely slowed by the pressure on her head.

I am formally submitting my forfeit for this match as I just do not have the enthusiasm to continue with it. However, Sasha and I have agreed to finish it at our own leisure.
