I often wondered when is it ok to be rude? I work at a donut shop at night. It's 24 hours and I get alot of rude ppl. Usually I will ignore it and be super stupid nice and it gets on their nerves. But sometimes, I can't help it and I get rude back. I don't have time for bullshit. It's late and I have better things to do then be disrespected.

i think they should make it a way for the right time to be rude to those rude to u...
and i am gonna get a job at a video place very son and lots of rude ppl rent games,dvd's,and more.

Hm, it is never okay to be rude, buuuuut people do anyways. Like you, those people I'm sure have jobs and like you they probly deal with bullshit aswell. You work at night? Well, its the end of the day and people want to go home and scarf down fat circles until they die and they DON'T want to wait...hehe...but anyways, yeah, its the way the world works, people take bullshit and they give bullshit...Its an on going circle of..well, bullshit :]

I'm misanthropic, so, I'm never rude beyond a glare. Mostly I just ignore people, rude or not, but especially when their rude. I either: convince myself to see their position and try to be as nice as possible so they can become someone else's problem as soon as I can get them away; be so scared of them that I won't talk to them, or even look them in the eye; or the base plan - just cold glare them and not respond to anything.

 Technically its never ok to be rude. By not being rude back to someone being rude to you then your being the bigger man/woman, putting your pride aside to do what is ethically right. Theres never really an ideal situation for it either, even if someone is rude to you. Its only purpose is to either tear someone down or make yourself seem bigger.
But I'm not always morally correct, so I have a tendency to tear down egomaniacs and morons who attempt to bring me down (Being an English Extension 2 student pays big here ='D ). Its not the right thing to do, but to me its efficient enough and satisfies my morally wrong vindictive nature.
