In the way of life you travel a road that is your path, the road that will lead you to your fate and your future. Now, Lux had a problem. Her destined road suddenly became two and she didn’t like having to make a decision. A fork in a road. And the indecisive mare could not make a decision on which way to go.
Usually she would be all for taking the right. For some reason the right side of anything was what she always felt like choosing. But today was a day that each side called to her, and she just couldn’t choose which road to take. Her indecisiveness was annoying herself, which made her even more annoyed. Silver eyes closed in an exhausted way, and she let out an aggravated sigh.
Her coal wings fluttered as she thought of a way to choose a direction. Maybe she should turn in a circle and which ever way she landed was the way she was going to go. All that Lux knew now was to never come this way again, or her irritation levels would rise and she would then make a huge tantrum, something she had not done since she was a small foal. It would happen, she just knew it.
Now what was she to do? Her head kept swiveling back and forth between the two roads, her mind never really choosing and her tail flicking back and forth as impatience rose inside of her.

Blue hooves dragged themselves along a dusty road with no destination in sight. Klei's head was more so drooped then normal and his tail had no life in it as it trailed behind him, getting tinted light brown. Was he saddened by something or just tired? Who knows. But there he was, dragging himself to take another step forward. The look on his face didn't really show any emotion as to his mood. Mainly due to the fact how he had his goggles down over his eyes. Eyes show a lot more emotion then one may think.
If Klei was more "alive" he would have noticed the hoof prints on the dirty in front of him but alas he didn't and he continued forward. His eyes eventually caught glimpse of someone else. Raising his head he noticed it was a mare that stood in the way. A mare also that looked a bit confused or torn by her movements. The wings on her back caught his attention right away because he hadn't met many Soquili with wings, well he hasn't really met many soquili in general but that's not the point.
As he continued to drag himself closer Klei kept his head raised and watched her. What was she confused about? Was she even confused? If so was it which way to go? That's a silly thing to worry about. Not feeling like stopping Klei just walked around her and instead of picking a path he simply went straight. Klei made his own path in between the two and kept going. Eventually his hooves stopped taking him further and he angled his head to the side to look at her. Deciding he wanted to say something Klei mentioned, "It will be dark the time you move by how you're just standing there. It'd be best that you figure out what you're doing and move." Turning his head to face forward again he quickly added, "Plus you're blocking the way..."

The stallion passed her and she blushed in embarrassment from not even noticing him. Was she so into choosing her direction that she can’t even be aware of her surroundings? It would seem so. But what made her tilt her head in confusion is when the stallion chose to go between the roads and “make his own path”. Why would anyone do that when there are two perfectly good roads on each side?
When he turned around and spoke to her it was in a condescending tone, or at least that is what he sounded like to her. And was she truly blocking the way? Lux twisted her head back so that she could see behind her. Sadly what he said was true, she was blocking the way for other horses that might come through here.
Turing her head back to the stallion she said, “Hmm, well, if you weren’t so impatient I might have already moved in the time it took for you to go around me.” She lifted her in and looked at him, having a haughty look on her face. Normally she would not be so, well, rude. But he was already annoying her. Making the quick decision of choosing a direction, she chose the direction that he was making.

"I don't see how I'm impatient. You were standing there and I simply went around you. I didn't stop and shout for you to get out of the way. You looked confuse from behind so I wanted to break your concentration hoping you'd make up your mind. So technically I was trying to help you rather then being impatient." Klei replied to her statement as he turned his head back towards her again. "And I don't believe you would have moved any time soon."
The expression on her face wasn't any more welcoming but a welcoming look wasn't expected. He did interrupt her "deciding". Originally he wouldn't have said anything but he figured she might have once she noticed he went around her. Tail flicking about Klei noticed that the winged mare eventually chose a direction. To his surprise it was HIS direction. "Oh look at you now~ Finally choosing a direction." Klei brought up as he started to walk away in the direction he was originally going. Did she choose his path on purpose? Or did she just decide to start walking at random? Why do I have a feeling if I stay to my path she'll end up following me... Klei lastly thought to himself.

Lux huffed and put her nose in the air. “If you had only waited a moment I would have chosen my direction. So you were in fact being a little impatient.” Okay, so, she probably wouldn’t have chosen, but he didn’t know that! As for taking “his” path, well, perhaps she was thinking of going that way. She glared at him, feeling irritation bubble within her.
She followed behind him before speeding up to get almost next to him. “So, what is your name?” Might as well know the name of this impatient stranger.

((I love you for your small reply back! It helped my non working muse to think XD))
"I wasn't being impatient. I was just simply continuing my way. There was plenty of room around you so it wasn't necessary for me to walk in a straight path so why should I have stopped?" Klei replied with a raised brow as he turned to face her. Only to find a glare in return. "No no no. Don't glare at me! I didn't do anything wrong to be glared at! I did what anyone would do. Why would you stop walking to stand behind someone waiting for them to move?" Klei questioned again. He was convinced that it wasn't needed to wait.
He watched as the mare sped up to meet his side, head and eyes following her movements. "You don't really want to know that. You're just annoyed that I walked around you." This day might end up causing more of a problem then he though.

(Thanks for your reply as well, since this has been the funnest response I have typed so far! xD)
“Well, maybe because it would have been polite! I mean, hello, ever heard of the rule ladies first?” Her tone become grated and anyone listening could tell that Lux was annoyed. Really, could he not have waited a few seconds so that she could have made her decision?
“Perhaps I did want to know your name, but I certainly don’t want to anymore.” Her earlier question of what his name was the farthest question from her mind as she sped past him, moving in front of him and keeping a faster pace. If that was the way he wanted to be, fine, she would just move on and get away from his insufferable behavior.

((Yay for doing a good thing! 8D ))
Klei snorted at her reply and turned his head up and away from her. "That only applies when the other knows the lady was moving. For all I know you could have just decided to stop and stood there on purpose."
He turned his head back towards her, why would anyone want to know the name of someone who was obviously growing to be annoying? It's not like she was plotting for revenge or anything. "Stop fooling yourself, you never intending on wanting to know my name. The situation didn't really call for name swapping."
The mare sped up in front of and away from Klei.
Deciding he wasn't going to just ignore it he sped up to a quick trot before going into a canter, passing the mare once more, keeping his speed consistent. Bah, like he was ever going to let someone who had no set plan get from the beginning in front of him taking his path!

The frustration was building, Lux could just feel it wanting to explode out of her, but she kept it in. Once he started talking to her, probably something rude and arrogant, she merely shut him out and continued walking ahead of him, head held high. That was, she was walking ahead of him, until his big butt came out of no where and cut in front of her.
It was a moment of surprise and fury that made her stop and stare. What was up with this stallion? At one point she had tried being nice, but as Lux watched him walk away, all she could feel was anger. Letting out a huff she sped up and cut right in front of him, almost tripping on a branch, but righted her self and then continued walking. Only this time, she was in front of him. “I’m sorry, but didn’t you know that cutting in front of someone is considered rude.” She questioned with out looking back at him, just letting her voice carry off behind her. She kept her speed steady, ready to speed up if she even saw him out of the corner of her eye.

With his head held high and eyes fixed forward out of spite he wasn't aware of the mares movements; until she suddenly cut infront of him, almost making his run into her. He reared up and jumped to the side to prevent any collision he might have made with her. Klei isn't the only one to play hard ball it seems.
"Didn't you know that keeping others waiting is considered rude as well? Plus being rude to prove a point to someone who's "being rude" doesn't make you any less rude." Klei snorted from behind her. Even though he veered off he didn't stop. He slowed came back to the pace he was at prior to her cutting infront of him. He watched her with a glace as she rode along. "Where do you think you are even heading missy?" He was going to end up somewhere, she on the other hand seemed to going that was out of spite.

Lux pretty much ignored his whole little speech about being rude. Really though, he was the one being rude first, or at least that is what she thought. Lux fought for composure, this stallion was upsetting her more then he really should be. Her composure was something that normally she did not have to fight for, but it seems that he was pushing all the correct buttons that just really, really!...upset her… Now that she had finally gotten the little victory she had been searching for, since she was still in front of him and going in an unknown direction, perhaps turning or something would be a good idea.
At his second question she decided to grace him with an answer. “I don’t know, and I don’t really care. That’s the adventure in me I suppose.” Perhaps it was time to make her own path, if only to get away from him. “As much fun as this has been, because really I have had a splendid time, I think I will be turning.” Sarcasm laced her words so thoroughly that it even surprised her. She gave him a smirk and took a left, this time tripping over a branch hidden by leaves. Before completely falling she quickly righted herself, shook her shoulders, then gave him another smirk while trying to cover her embarrassment. Hopefully he wouldn't follow her...or she might go insane.

"But you obviously do care. You wouldn't have originally been stuck at a crossroad if you weren't." Klei poked as he watched her smirk as she continued to speak. Oh ho, wasn't she just sooo cheeky. His ears pointed back as he brought his head back. "I hope you don't find adventure that leads to your downfall." He commented back at her comment. He slowed and she passed in front of him... and tripped.
Klei couldn't help but laugh but he was able to keep in most of it. "What's wrong little miss? I thought you wanted to get out of here? Tripping on purpose won't help you none." He accused. He knew very well that she didn't mean to trip by her reaction to it but he wasn't going to let her know that He turned towards the direction she was supposed to go in and watched her. "Do you find yourself needing a little help?" Klei lastly questioned with a grin.

Lux huffed and turned her head away from him. He had turned in her direction, if only slightly and now she felt the need to get away from his insufferableness. “I do not need your help. I am sure if I did, I would have asked you.” Or maybe not, but really, why would she ever ask him for help.
Turning her head away from his general direction, and flipping her short tail as well, she strode away from him. Silver eyes glanced at the ground, and saw this path, well not really a path, was littered with leaves. The bushes were so overgrown that she had to step over them several times. How much easier it would have been to just fly away, but she was still learning sadly. She gave another huff in irritation towards the stallion. She was sure she would have been able to pay attention if only he hadn’t bothered her into this frustration she was feeling.
