*rises...from...the DEAD!*
Yo yo yo, M-P-R-I-L-C. How's it going? Not good, you say? Threads lackluster? Dramadrenaline the only thing keeping new posts less than a day apart? Well, gee. Doesn't that suck. Let's see if we can do something a little bit better for ourselves, no? Bring the guild back to life a little, start on the path where the guild name can mean action and less of mere talk?
So here's my challenge. Within the week that you accept this challenge, you must do something, anything to try to prove magick or psionics to yourself. (Edit: Or to try to break through the wall that seems to prevent you from partaking in either.) If you're feeling like it, post what you did; thus showing that you want to help liven things up here.
Get to it, if you're interested. I know I want to bring things back in motion here, at least.

Finally cleansed my alter with the bad mojo it had a brewing. That pretty much proves it to me.

I...er...suddenly and without explanation became severely masochistic after sitting in a cemetery last night. Not saying I've never been masochistic before, but it's been quite a while since it's been that bad for no apparent reason. Like, I was sitting there and suddenly was flooded with wonderful images of cigarette burns and bloody wrists and bathtubs. One should note that I've never burned myself with a cigarette, slit my wrists, or bled in a bathtub. But I suddenly wanted to do all three.
So I went out and bought a pack of cigarettes and let the nicotine high put me to sleep. Yay asthmatic nonsmoker.
Oh, and I don't think this was particularly paranormal or magickal or what have you. I just don't have any explanation for it. And it seemed interesting.

Nothing special on my end either. I'll keep an eye out for anything though.

I put the maprialc website back up, and am in the process of trying to bring the IRC back.
Being a lover of chaos and destruction, I seem to be worst at what I do best. Making myself a parodyal contradiction. Making myself believe there is some type of sadist balance system in the universe. I wish to destroy it, but can't help but find another IRC chat...
Damn the cruel world we all strive to impress. Oh, the irony.

My buddy had a spirit following her around, and I was the only one who believed her. While it seems my telepathy has had a spike of efficiency the past two days.

fluffysteel2 (relates to both threads but i'm putting it in this one) i made the swords, both kinds. your shields, they do nothing. No, no, no, those are my goggles. neutral And which ones? The physical and metaphysical ones, or the ranged and close combat ones? And relating to the thread, I think I've found out what my "trigger" is.

Over the past week, I've been trying to make a servitor real in my mind by repeatedly imagining it resting on my shoulder. The theory is that once it becomes tangible enough to me, it may be able to extend its influence to others.
Let's keep this thread going, though: over the course of this next week, post something completely different you did in order to prove magick/psionics to yourself.

My friend, Chelsey, and I are improving this odd link we both have. We naturally know what the other wants/ is thinking. It's a little amusing when we are asked a question and we both answer the same exact moment with the same exact answer.
I'm also, spiritually, trying to get more in touch with nature. At the moment I'm gearing up to take myself on a barefoot walk in to trails behind the school to take some nature photos.

If you seek to prove that something is, you will find all the evidence that you require. If you seek to prove that something is not, and fail, you have proof.

ArynChris If you seek to prove that something is, you will find all the evidence that you require. If you seek to prove that something is not, and fail, you have proof. So If I punch a guy in the face and I miss, I prove I cant punch some one in the face. Makes sense I recently did some spirtual work on a park using sigils to do 2 things 1.make it a hot bad for occult energy 2.Turning childrens will into a spell (complicated sigils rule) so for it has worked also, got spirtually attack by a green thing, I lost my servitor....

This week; I attempted to contact the spirits of nature during a walk in the brush and fields near my house by talking, chanting, carving sigils into the ground, and expressing other forms of reverence for the land and seasons. No one showed, but I can't say I really expected anyone or anything to, either. So I guess I'm going to go back and try again sometime. It's not quite Sunday over here, but consider that the next week has begun. Continue to post [or not to post] what you've done to prove magick or the supernatural to yourself. Or, if you have proved it, what you've done to keep it alive within you.

When I walk alone, in nature, or the urban jungle of humanity's creation, I know for certain magic is real. At night, in the day, when the place's spirit changes absolutely, one can know the impermanence of the world and the futility of mechanistic philosophies. Something is always beyond what you know and see working.
But I just like night and wax philosophic.
