Battle Themes: Diablo Rojo, Tamacun, Gypsy Flame
Nestled high within the jagged peaks where the air is cool, yet crisp, resides the ruins of an archaic amphitheater. The screeching cries of many birds echo throughout the open air as the faint sounds of someone playing a guitar can be heard from within. At the entrance, a small piece of aged plank hangs from a simple hemp string to form a makeshift sign, crudely inscribed with the words "Aeriel's Summit".

11/21/08 -- da burner123 has registered to be the gym's first apprentice!
[11/21/08] -- Gym rules have been updated and a new "Gym Apprentices" section has been added to correspond with the events going on with the rest of the Wi-Fi League.
[10/12/08] -- The gym doors have officially been unlocked for everyone to enter but the gym leader is still currently not accepting any challenges at this time. Stay tuned for updates.

I will not repeat myself, you break any of these rules, whether you win or lose the match, you will not be awarded my badge, plain and simple. So read them, learn them, remember them!
Those able to best me in combat will be awarded the Azul Ace Badge!
Qualifications
1 Pokemon Gaming Guild Wi-Fi League Badge: That's right. Before you can challenge my gym, you must first earn a badge from one of the other gym leaders. Why you ask? Keep reading and you will know. Let's just say, my birds are picky on who they battle and just need a little motivation.
Battle Format
6v6 Level 100 Singles/Doubles
Voice Chat Off
No Disconnecting (else automatic forfeit)
Battle Clauses
Uber Clause: The following Pokemon are deemed to be unbalancingly powerful and are not allowed to be used: Arceus, Darkrai, Deoxys, Deoxys-A, Deoxys-D, Dialga, Giratina, Groudon, Ho-oh, Kyogre, Latias, Latios, Lugia, Manaphy, Mew, Mewtwo, Palkia, Rayquaza, Wobbuffet and Wynaut. I thought this had to go without saying but Shaymin is also banned.
Self KO Clause: Players cannot use moves such as Explosion or Selfdestruct that force a tie. If a move that has recoil damage causes a tie, the user of the move is the winner.
Sleep Clause: A player cannot put two or more different opposing Pokemon to sleep using attacks that induce sleep to opposing Pokemon.
Evasion Clause: A player cannot increase their Pokemon's evasion stat with a move that specifically increases evasion.
Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same Pokemon on their team. For example, a player cannot have two Koffings on his or her team. This clause of course does not effect the use of multiple Eeveelutions or any other pokes with optional evolutions.
OHKO Clause: Players cannot use moves that have a chance of instantly KO opposing Pokemon. For example, Horn Drill is an illegal move to have on a Pokemon's move set.
One Legendary Rule: Only one legendary Pokemon may be used per team, per battle.
Luck "Hax" Item Clause: In online competitive play, the term "Hax" refers to when something unlucky occurs to you. Most of the time this is that 30% chance to freeze from a Ice beam, or something of that nature and it's just the way the game goes. Although, when it comes to hold items that have small chance of completely turning the game around just out of sheer chance, it's deemed rather frustrating and very similar to the OHKO Clause. For this reason, when this clause is in effect, that means the following items are banned from use: Brightpowder, Lax Incense, Quick Claw, Focus Band, Razor Fang and King's Rock.
Item limitations: Choice Scarf, Choice Band, Choice Specs and Focus Sash are limited to one per team.
Other Rules
The Thieving Magpies: What can I say, my birds love shiny objects. Unlike other birds who collect twigs for their nests, mine however love the sparkle of gym badges. Now that's where you come in my dear challenger, though of course I don't expect you to just give up your hard earned badges without a fight. So, for every match you lose to me, I will randomly take away one of the badges you've earned from another gym, from your badge case. Don't bother running back to the other gym leaders asking for replacements, as the only way you'll be able to get them back is by defeating me once for every badge lost this way. If you happen to lose every other badge that could possibly be obtainable and are unable to abide by my gym's prerequisite to battle, then you might as well re-register a new team and re-challenge the entire Wi-Fi League all over again as those badges will forever belong to my birds. One more thing to note, you must first earn back all lost badges before you can earn my badge.
1 Battle Per Week, Per Challenger, Per Lost Badge: Since the last thing I need is to constantly be hassled by determined challengers with rematch requests back-to-back, I will only allow you to challenge my birds once per week. That way, you don't lose your badges all at once and so that my birds don't get spoiled with so many shiny treats.
