It was like looking into a mirror, only, if you touched this mirror ripples would form. A puddle of crystal water from the rain only night before lay in the middle of the dirt road. A place that once held a small pot hole now held clear water that easily reflected ones image. A maroon mare leaned down to see herself in this mirror, and gazing back was just Lux. The reflection never changed, but she turned her head just to make sure it was in fact her. The mare in the water also moved, her head turning in the same fashion.
Raising her head back up, she shuffled her wings and gazed down the rest of the road. Small little puddles were littered everywhere. The night before there had been storms, but where she had been there wasn’t much rain. It seemed that in this area it had done the exact opposite.
This morning, Lux found herself wandering down this road, calm and bored with nothing to do. Now look at her, she was looking at herself in little pools of water. She laughed at how easily distracted she was. Seconds later she was once again walking down the road, side stepping all pools of water and watching where she placed her hooves.

The otherwise peaceful morning was disturbed slightly not once by the passing of the evening storms, but twice as gentle snored echoed under a tree. Along the puddle ridden path where forest met meadow, one certian stallion had managed to find somewhat safehaven amongst the branches of an apple tree. Well, safe was really a lose term, with his limbs sprawled and wings caught up in the foliage....it was almost as if he was hanging in a slightly upside down fashion. However, it didn't seem to bother him much as with the chirping of a few birds a branch or two away he snorted into a half awake state.
Cracking open a a eye, he cast a emerald orb towards the birds and let a lopsided smile grace his dark maw. "Mornin' little dudes...." At his voice the birds immediately took off in flight, but it didn't seem to once again bother him.
Waking up a little more as he looked at his current situation, the dark stallion pursed his lips in thought as he tried to recall what had happened the night before. The storm had been such a wild ride with the winds and rain, yet it was a little blurry on just how he'd gotten into tree. Still; it wasn't so bad up here! He was fairly comfortable, not in any immediate danger...He might have issues with thirst in a bit; but he'd deal with that when it arrived.
Grinning wildly though, he began to chuckle before bursting out in a hearty laugh. "That. Was. AWESOME." He commented to himself about the killer ride he'd experienced the night before, hell, he couldn't wait till the next storm!

Her ears flicked towards where the shout had come from and Lux lifted her head to the tree tops. Up ahead of her she saw what appeared to be a large bird stuck in a tree. Now, normally, worry for the animal would set in right about now, but it was odd that the stuck, and should be distressed, bird was laughing. Twisting her head that showed her curiosity, Lux started walking towards the tree that had somehow trapped the bird.
Only a few feet away she stopped, strange that her hoof was in a pot hole, she noticed that it was in fact a soquili in the tree. It also seemed to be a stallion with a deep laugh like that. Walking the few feet more to get under the tree she took in her surroundings, and how he had possibly gotten up there. He had wings, otherwise he would have had to climb, and he looked…comfortable.
Well, if you called sleeping in a tree comfortable. Lux wouldn’t know, she had never tried it. Squinting her eyes to try and get a closer look above her, she called to him, “Hello up there! Are you comfortable?”
