In modern day Japan, there is a park in the middle of Kyoto. In this park, stands one lone Sakura tree, that is hundreds of years old. In legend, it is said that a young prince gave his life for his lover under the once white petaled tree. The tree, weeping for the man's tragedy, drew of his spilled blood in hopes of preserving him, and stained the flowers a soft pink.
His lover, a rare beauty among peasants, ran for her life and the life of their unborn child. She was never found.
Now, the unsuspecting descendant of the prince and his love, wanders the streets of Kyoto as a young girl of 17. Little does the girl know, her life will be thrown out of control, wrought with romance, danger and fear, as her fate unfurls beneath the Sakura tree.

Bio: Serena is the unsuspecting descendent of the prince in the Sakura tree legend. She lives in a small shrine with her mother just outside Ame no Niwa park. She is in highschool as a second year. She loves animals and has two cats and a dog.
Personality:Serena is a hard worker and very charismatic. She is friendly and intelligent but sometimes a bit clumsy. She enjoys drawing, singing and dancing but is also very strong willed.
Other: Her cats names are Loki and JiJi. Her dog's name is Yuku.
