Ok, I'm a noob to Japanese (especially writing). I'm using windows vista, so that makes typing a bit easier, but I don't get one thing about wa.
In Vista, if you type a word in hiragana and press space, it automatically changes it into kanji (or underlines it and shows you kanji & katakana suggestions). So it changes my wa into a kanji character. Look :
私輪。。。("I am...", using the kanji character)
私わ。。。("I am...", using the hiragana character)
Which one is correct? I think it's the hiragana one, but please, correct me if I am wrong , ok?

Neither. smile

The correct way would be
私は。。。

は (ha) is used for the particle wa, not わ.

は but be careful not to say "ha" since that's only used when writting! Also, since you are new to the language, be careful with using 私 「わたくし」 i'd hate for you to say it that way XD. As well as for any other Kanji character. You may want to stick to Hiragana and just say わたし (watashi). It's for the better. biggrin

I usually use that, but I forgot to press the enter key after that, so it changed to kanji . X_x

While you're at it be careful with 'wo' and 'o' coz the typing and pronounciation is different too. XD
