Let's just pretend we all live in the avatar universe, and by some miracle, we can *ALL* perform bending.
Which element would you be? Would you have a specific niche withing your element? (Sand, fog, ice, a certain style you use, whatever..)
As much as I would prefer to be an earth bender, I kinda think I'd be a fire bender (my least preferred element) just because I'm really aggressive and passionate, and tend to let people have a piece of my mind whenever it suits me, and those traits are more noticeable than the ones that might fit me into another element.
I'm probably like 28% fire, and an even mix of the rest.
Fixed your coding error. ~Arek
BE HONEST! As much fun as it is to just pick the one you want (Everyone would be an avatar, wouldn't they?) Which element are you REALLY?

I would be a fire bender because fire is my element in the zodiac. Although my birthday isn't in the Summertime, whether it's the north/southern hemisphere it falls in either Autumn or Spring. So that would put me in between air and earth. But I'm going with the element of Aries which is FIRE to gauge my element biggrin . I've thought into this too much XD.

Firebender, without a doubt in my mind. I'm passionate and aggressive. In a fight, I go for quick offensive moves. I'm also way better at dodging than blocking. (Firebenders have few defensive moves.)
My second would probably be earth, though I don't think I'd do too well with that. Though earth has quite a bit of power, there's not enough movement for my tastes.
I'm not sure if I'd fail more with water or air though. Air would probably be my worst, but I dunno...

I prefer fire myself, but I do disagree with you about the Earthbenders not having enough movement in their stance. I imagine the Earthbenders to be heavily rooted, like a tree in the ground. So maybe the lack to footwork is what puts you off, but Toph's Earthbending style has a lot more footwork than the normal Earthbenders. I do like all the martial stances for all the benders smile , but perhaps the fiery dance-like attacks of the Firebenders just appeals to you more than the solid rooted stance of Earthbending. I sometimes imagine firebending movements that are almost like the earthbending movements though, like when Kyoshi made her island, she took an earthbending stance to bring up all that lava from inside the planet.

You're also neglecting the fact that Earthbenders are useless without their feet or more connected to the ground. Much like waterbenders are nearly useless without their arms.
Toph's feet were burned, using only her arms she was only to weakly earthbend, but when her back attached to the ground she was able to use her legs to make a pillar of Earth to knock Zuko off his feet.

I guess I didn't word it correctly. But yeah, I suppose you could say it's the "rooted" thing I don't like.
