Hello all! I'm Bluetabbycat, your lovely guild captain! 3nodding
I'm from the UK (Wales to be precise), and I've been LARPing on and off for about 2 years now. I first got interested in LARP around the same time I started university and began coming into contact with people who are equally (if not more) geeky as I am. 4laugh My first experience of LARP was in late 2006 with the local LARPers, and was a very informal system. Since then I've had a go at Maelstrom, a huge event where hundreds of people participate. Also I've tried Fools and Heroes, which is a Cardiff based group.
I think what I really enjoy about LARP is the creativity of it all. I really enjoy making costumes and designing characters.
EDIT: I would also like to apologize to any new comers if I take a long time to accept your join request. Unless the guild gets really active, I tend to forget to check up on it. sweatdrop

Hey. I'm SteampunkSaskia (or S.S., Saskia, or E.Kay). I'm an art student. I've been LARPing for 16 years (I'm 19. Do the math). My parents got me into it when I was 3. We used to give tours on a plantation. It's been a while but I want to get back into it.
My LARP character is E.Kay, or my Gaia avatar. She doesn't really have a past and I really don't want to give her one. She's my persona. E.Kay is a coyote sprite bio-prototype who feeds off of music (like an iDog). She stands about 26cm but will sometimes be 5'1" (the only way I can LARP as her). I might get a/another ball-jointed doll to be the shorter version.
Right now I'm collecting LARP gear so that I can document adventures xp

Hey, I'm TriarBaril, I am working on my technical certificate in teaching. I've been LARPing for about 4 years now, my brother and his girlfriend got me into it. So now all my friends and my girlfriend play.
My LARP character is A Gnomish Scholar, named McTinkerton, in the LARP that I play SOLAR, All gnomes are required to be in gray makeup on all exposed skin, and wear a funny hat! It is a 'medieval/fantasy' type of a LARP, however its held in it's own time, and is full of amazing twists and turns.

Hello! My name is Kaza, I've been LARPing for a year now, and have been on Staff at Avegost for 8 months. I live in Georgia, US. (unfortunately) and I believe firmly in the Turku Manfiesto for LARPing. I'm currently working with my LARP and a few other LARPs in the area to revolutionize the play style of America LARPs. I hope to get rid of the gamiest mentality that America LARPs hold and welcoming a more Euro LARP feel to America. smile
I'm also 20, I found out about Larping when I was 14 and I engaged in Medieval Combat in Washington State until I moved to GA. I'm not your stereotypical nerd. I'd like to think I'm a closet nerd. I'm really into costuming, and combat. I look at LARPing as a form of art and not a game.
I really like meeting new people, and getting new ideas from them. I like to think I'm pretty open-minded. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone smile
