Somewhere deep in the forest of Sol...
Off the coast of the Isle de Gambino is a smaller, lesser known island called Isl de Lunis. Though it is a singular island, it has two distinct halves of Sol and Lun. Sol is the northwest side of the island, shaped like the sun, its rocky craigs at a distance looking like the rays of the sun. Its on this island that the only 'city' is located, and where the small cottage where Amaryllis lives is found.
On the coast facing Gambino is a small airstrip connected by a dirt road and a few busses to a small city. If you follow the dirt road just a little farther, deeper into the woods, it leads to a cabin shaded by the tall trees found there.
The cabin, a three bedroom, two bath home, is (currently) in a state of disrepair. It needs a fresh coat of paint and for the corpses of old flowers to be taken from the windowboxes, but its got good bones, and its easy to tell that it was once beautiful, and could be again with a little bit of work.
Inside, the foyer opens to the livingroom with a fireplace to the right, and the dining room to the left, the space demarkated by a small set of two stairs spanning the width of the room, stepping down into the livingroom. Separated only by what probably used to be a pretty countertop/bar space, was the relatively large kitchen. Continuing with the easy flow of the house, the kitchen opened into the hallway, which led to the stairs leading up, the bathroom, and the three bedrooms in the back.
The stairs, though on the small side, lead up into the loft that looked over the livingroom. Like the rest of the house, the only thing in the loft was a pile of boxes and a suitcase, the remainder of it covered in years of dust and grime.
So far, the kitchen and the farthest bedroom have been unearthed from the mess. As furniture is introduced and the house is cleaned, updates will be made here. If there's intrest or if I'm so inclined, floorplans will follow :3

Age: 23 years old
Occupation: Co-owner of Wandering Moons
Race: Kirin
Height: 5'2''
Weight: 120lbs
Build: Petite, and somewhat reminisce of a 12 year old x3;;
Special Abilities: Granting wishes.
Personality: Earnest and honest, Amaryllis loves people and loves to help people, which is why owning a shop is an ideal occupation for her. Though this isn't really a personality trait, she's very much the "early to bed, early to rise" kinda girl, is rarely seen up and about past nine or ten, and is up being chipper at ungodly hours of the morning. The phrase "I wish..." makes her nervous, and though she is very much inclined to help where she can, she always asks "Do you really wish that?" because she can only grant any one person one wish.
History: Amaryllis was born in Barton Town to parents who thought that they would never be able to have children. Because wishes and prayers seldom go unheard (unanswered is something entirely different), a kirin who wanted children of her own came to them. Kirin can't grant their own wishes, but this particular kirin saw a way to solve everyone's problem. Richard and Enwin would have a child that would look very much like them, but would be endowed with Kirin power, their daughter in blood but hers in spirit.
The baby that was born had hair and eyes the color of the forest, ears and tail of a kirin, and a gold horn in the middle of her forehead. Because it was Barton Town and Gaia and there were far stranger things than a kirin child to human parents, she had little trouble while growing up. The only concern she ever had was with the vague half-answers and fairy tales that her parents gave her when she asked why she didn't look like them.
Finally, after she'd finished college and started her career as a fantasy author, they told her the truth. Having seen her 'mother's' human form, they assured her that is where she gets her appearance. Shocked and somewhat hurt, Amy retreated from her family, from the home she'd always known, to try to come to terms when who--and what--she was. Hopping the first flight to anywhere and packing her meager belongings, Amy found herself on the Isle de Lunis.
The house her parents real estate agent had found for her was...not exactly what she'd hoped it would be, but it would suit her needs. She would stay here on this island until she finds answers to these new questions and understands her 'mother' and everything she received from her.

Orientation: The only chandra of either gender who seems to've gotten his attention is Dontaine.
Mate: Dontaine (or at least boyfriend x3)
Lives: He spends a lot of time with Amy, and occasionally stays the night, but it's unknown where he spends most of his nights or at least those that aren't with Dontaine
Personality: Blank is very similar to his 'owner' in some ways: he loves to help people, but he does so in a more quiet and certainly calmer manner. He can't grant wishes and he doesn't have an interesting past to speak of, but he does want whats best for people, and does what he can to meet those ends, if it means helping around the house (albeit grudgingly) or pushing someone out of the way of a forest that's being petrified, he's your Chandra. >.>;;
Abilities: Flight.
Weapons: Shortsword

Age: Unknown/adolescent female
Race: Chandra
Orientation: Princesses need not apply
Mate: One day she'll meet her prince...
Lives: for adventure. Cornet loves the little house of Amy's, and gladly gives her a helping hand when she can, but she spends a lot of her time wandering the islands, looking for adventure and her prince, hoping that they await her somewhere.
Personality: Cornet is full of life and dreams of adventure. While she likes her 'normal' life, she also often wonders what else might be out there, what what prince might await her someday. Generally happy with a giving heart, she gets along well with Blank along as she isn't playing her horn in the middle of the night.
Abilities: Can play her horn and summon/talk to puppets

Name: Kururu
Age: Unknown/acts twelve-ish
Race: Pixie
Lives: wherever Cornet is. She's obnoxious and seems to be more of a hinderance than anything, but when it comes to it, she is the closest thing that Cornet has to family and wants nothing but the best for her, looking out for the chandra when she can.
Personality: Loud and oftentimes obnoxious, Kururu is full to bursting with more energy than should be contained in one pixie. According to her, she's always right and everyone should always listen to her, especially Cornet, her lifelong friend. She means well, for the most part, but that's about all that can be said.
Weapons: Paper fan

Mate: Aiden
Lives: In a thick grove of trees, between Wandering Moons and Amy's house. Something of a solitary creature, there are times when the busy cottage seems to crowded, and she has to escape to where she spent all of her time before she met the boistrous group.
Personality: More quiet and introspective than there rest of the group, she comes and goes at the little cottage more than she actually lives there. However, as much as she likes quiet and polite, she loves the honest fun and companionship she finds with Amy and the gang.
Abilities: Flight (and a teensy bit of island magic)
Weapons: Why would she want one of those?

Mate: None, and she DOESN'T have a crush on Dontaine!
Lives: With Amy. The only full-time houseguest, she's claimed the upstairs loft and bathroom for herself and (though she complains) works the hardest of the chandra on making the house livable again.
Personality: Harlequin is a lot more hot-headed than the rest of the chandra that stay with Amy...probably moreso than all of them put together. She's snarky and sarcastic and has moments of having a wicked sense of humor. She'd probably get along great with Kururu if they weren't so much alike. It's probably better for the world that things don't change.
Abilities: Well, she is a witch, after all.
Weapons: None, but you would regret messing with her. Severely. Open for RP? If you dare....

Mate: Seems uninterested in dating.
Lives: In a treehouse close to her mother's
Personality: Quiet. She loves to read almost as much as she loves nature and the islands around her. She's very smart and is actually friendly, if you can pry her out of the woods or out of her book long enough to talk to someone. She's a bit shy/withdrawn or awkward at first, but she does (generally, sometimes) like people and other chandra.

Personality: Flirtflirtflirtflirtflirt. Big flirt. Not to say that it isn't meaningless, he just finds beauty in almost everyone (except Harlequin, who he thinks is obnoxious and overbearing). He's sweet and charming, though it's unsure if anyone could ever really steal his heart.

Personality: Very calm, composed and serious, Naoto is a very young police detective that occasionally moonlights for the police, when they can stand it. She's very smart when it comes to her work, but when it comes to social situations, she's easily flustered and often comes across as rude.
SPECIAL NOTE: To be taken seriously by the police and others, Naoto dresses like a boy and talks in a deep voice. If you didn't previously know, it would be difficult to tell that she's a she and not a he.
Abilities: Can enter into a TV and summon her persona, Sukuna-Hikona. Is also very good at solving puzzles/riddles.
Weapons: Pistol.
Open for RP? Yes, but probably not for romantic relationships. She considers them 'entanglements.'

What's going on here?
Updates for those who don't feel like poking through the whole thing x3
The story arc in the journal begins after Halloween, when Amy has had one to many and brings Will Lykae home with her. Though the night is spent mostly innocently, she's still mortified. However, she gets a second (or maybe first?) date out of it, so its all good.
When Will doesn't call her back and the kirin mopes, Harlequin (at the suggestion of Cornet and Kururu) works up a spell to summon her someone who is 'nothing short of a prince.' Dragging Leilani into the mix, they summon...a centaur prince from foreign lands.
Right when things look like they might get interesting between the newly summoned Cadeon and Amy, Will finally calls her back. Repentant for the long delay, Will takes her on a fabulous date and leaves with a chaste peck on the lips. Not to be shown up, Cade shows her what a real kiss is supposed to be like--but what's the point, when he's only going to leave?
Just to make things better, it's about this time that Amy finds Will, a PI, used his powers for evil, doing a background check before calling her back. Cutting ties with him, she reveals her nature and the powers that go with it to Cade, mutually agreeing to what relationship they can have before he goes back home.
As they're getting settled in, Cade unexpectedly finds the way back home--through Amy's front door, and is unpleasantly surprised at what he finds there. Knowing that something terrible has happened, Amy does the only thing she can--calls the only PI she knows to help find her wayward centaur.
Though Will's looking hard, he doesn't have a lot of luck--but he does have the perfect excuse to spend a little quality time with Amy that he thought he wouldn't have again! Even though they're back on speaking terms, she doesn't tell him or anyone the night she sneaks out to try to speak to the only person she things might be able to help her--her mother.
Not knowing where she was in the middle of the night, while the power was out no less, the chandra call Dark, and then Will when she doesn't answer. This results in some confusion and almost an altercation, but things are resolved and Amy gets her little chat--and her answer, even if she does spend the next night running with her new 'pack.' With her new answer and her newfound courage, she's more determined than ever to rescue Cadeon, so two days later, she, Will and Blank go down the rabbit hole, the only trace they left a letter from Blank to Dontaine.

"And you?" Dezmin shook his head.
"I can't, won't, guide someone who is so completely clueless. She doesn't understand the weight of what she's doing, and why. She doesn't deserve it."
"And we are in a position to be picky." Blank liked the little demon, he really did (though in this case, he meant height, because the 'little' demon was far older than even he) but there were times when he knew that his jaded view of the world would cost them something dear, just as Ceara's candy-coated idealism would do the same thing. It was hard to believe that they were twins.
"We are the Chandra," Dezmin responded aloofly.
"We are a dying breed," Blank responded. "I'll help this girl, because she needs it, but you need to get your head out of the clouds and out of the past. We should be grateful."

"You don't have to do everything yourself, you know." The quiet voice from the doorway shocked Amy so much that she nearly knocked over the bucket she was using to mop with. Turning her eyes to the door, she saw something...very strange.
She recognized him as a chandra, but that was the extent of her knowledge. Unlike the two she'd seen with Dark, this one was an adult, and from the top of his hair to his feet he was covered in strange belts and patchwork, as if he'd had to be put back together. Despite his appearance, he leisurely leaned against her doorframe, in a door that hadn't been open just a few moments before.
"Excuse me?" she asked lamely. Was he talking about her job working with the Chandra, the shop and with Dark? Her destiny here on the islands? Had he come to deliver a message?
"The house," he said in a nonchalant manner, lifting a hand and making a motion that encompassed the room around him. "Its a lot of work. You don't have to do it all by yourself."
All in all, it was a somewhat surreal experience. The chandra (whose name was Blank) pretty much strolled into Amy's life by helping her mop the kitchen. And clean the counters, and wipe down the fridge. He griped, but he was the most consistent source of conversation and 'human' interaction she'd had since she'd stayed the night with Dark, and it certainly broke up the silence she'd inflicted on herself by moving all the way out here.
And the next day, there he was again. She was cleaning the windows and throwing away the old blinds then, and he was at her elbow for most of the day. It was apparent that cleaning wasn't his favorite task, and why he was there he never really said. But it was good to have someone else at the house again, so on the third day, before he left, she asked if he wanted to stay the night.
At first, he seemed surprised, as if he hadn't been sure whether or not he was welcome. But her friendly smile and the offer of a warm (if lumpy) bed was tempting enough to have him stay, and stay he did. For how long, neither of them knew, but it was an arrangement both of them could get used to.
A pet? Not really. More like a housemate, a companion...a friend.

Well, I wrote it, but it got deleted. On the off chance that it gets to be re-written at some point, Amy and Blank are cleaning the house. As they clean, Amy not so subtly tries to hint to Blank that Dontaine kinda sorta maybe likes him, and fails miserably; Blank seems to be oblivious. In the middle of her trying to play matchmaker, she gets a delivery of...an egg. Before she can ask Blank what it is or bother him one more time about Dontaine, he splits, leaving her with an egg and a sprite that she has no idea what to do with. Typical guy.

Another placeholder journal entry, except I haven't written this one. It would be an introduction to Cornet and Kururu, galavanting across the expanse of the islands in search of her true love. Blank, perplexed, watches them for a moment only to find that they break into song.
When Blank, stupified (mostly from the corny lyrics paired with decent horn playing) approaches them, Cornet at first things that he's her prince, her true love, but Blank has to break to her that he doesn't swing that way. Disappointed, she gets upset, when Blank says that he'll help her find her prince, since he knows where most of the new chandra are going to be (and certainly none of the older chandra are going to put up with her for very long). Excited, she follows him back to the house where she and Amy become fast friends. Blank wonders what he's gotten himself into.

Amy is disappointed to find that neither Cornet and Kururu or Blank live with her regularly, and even though she has Medea and Melisande at the house all the time, it's still a little lonely. Halloween is coming, and there's no real reason to even decorate her house. Though she can still decorate the shop...
...so she goes to the shop, and as she's setting up, two chandra appear--Harlequin and Tein, the 'spirit of halloween' as it were. Their misticism is ruined as the two begin to bicker, at which point Amy decides that, while they love each other, they need to live in separate houses. Or something. This is when she goes over to Lyra's house, trying to find Dark to tell her, thus kicking off the Lyra/Ursa/Dark/Amy time change plot. D:
