Y'know, I'm not sure there's specific color-changing glass (I might just be out of the loop, of course), but I've noticed that my pipe was green with bluish tones when it was new, but a few years of use, and the resulting resin build-up, has made it appear more indigo with blue-green highlights. Maybe that's what they mean?

They change to a completely different color when they build up resin.
I have a chillum; When it's clean, the glass is a light yellow, when it gets rez'd out, it turns a nice deep blue.
We also have some others that turn a lighter shade of blue. Most color changing glass only changes blue, actually. Haha.
If you want to see if it's color changing, you can just take your (clean) glass and hold it over a black surface to see if it appears a different color.
