Who watched it?
Anyone have any opinions on politics?
I was riding on the train home yesterday, and there was this horrible women. At first she was saying some interesting things that I agree with to an extent, then it degraded into racist whining. I almost said something to her. I wish I had. She was going on and on about immigrants and using derogatory terms. There was an indian guy sitting two seats in front of her and he looked uncomfortable.
So rude.

Nah, didn't get the chance to last night. I'll track it down later online. I'm sure one of the news channels will have it.
I don't really like to talk about politics too much 'cause it can quickly go from a mature debate to butt-hurt in no time.

As much as I surrport his party. I do not think he can win. The party is to split. He should of made Hilary his VP (I'm think in genral Hilary should of got the nom) I think the USA would be more likly to vote her in then him. And the Republicins are going to win and the world is doomed.

Calisto- Do you really think there are that many dumb people in America?
I really hope not. Really, truly. But I guess if the elections can be rigged.... The electoral college is so outdated. There is no need. Every vote should really, truly count.
I think Hilary painted a poor picture in her desperate final days of campaigning. And besides. The fact that Obama has a surplus of funds and Hilary overspent her budget should truly say something about the candidates. Something that is very forward thinking.
Throwing money at a problem doesn't fix it.

I'm only 14 but like politics is a HUGE thing in my house. I'm usually not biased to sides but I am supporting the democrats.
I really don't like to get into any kind of discussion over politics out of my own home, because it usually leads to more of an argument with some swearing and whatnot.
But I did watch his speech, and I was....moved but not REALLY moved. Probably because I've heard it before or I'm too young to really get a grasp of things. :/

You know what killed me about his speech... the music they played afterwards. It was too contrived feeling.
I consider myself independent.
But I know what you mean Mama, I once got kicked out of a house I was supposed to be staying at because I got too into politics when I was a little intoxicated.
It sucked. But I find it fascinating and I wish people could be more open and understanding about it...
