Her sleek frame is built on lean muscles hidden under elegant curves, light and swift on her feet with a grace and agility trained from limber movements and quick reflexes. A slender body with a slim waist defines her femininity, but she lacks the gracious bosom that favors many other women. But Riya can be considered quite pretty with her oval face framed by long straight black hair, complimented by her lightly tanned skin tone and contrasted by her light blue eyes.
As far as choice of wear goes, Riya can usually be found in her military uniform. Raised in a military atmosphere, she not only acts the part but dresses the part as well. She walks about with an air of formal confidence as well as graceful elegance, but she carries a slightly more serious and sterner expression when in military dress, which is most of the time. But in the winter she does not oatwear the normal black military jacket, preferring to wear her black long coat instead. Riya will occasionally wear casual clothing, mostly during the summer when the long riding pants become too hot to bear — but she'll never be caught in a dress.Personality:Polite and respectful, Riya behaves like the perfect lady in the public eye — elegant and poised with a sense of grace and feminine pride. She has an extremely courteous attitude, expressing thanks or apology wherever necessary. Anyone that knows her on a formal level would admire her quiet confidence, noting the rarity of finding such regal and influential traits in a woman. But for this reason, Riya is a suitable leader as she possesses a commanding presence with Wolfriders and a dimplomatic demeanor with the City Council.
But under the cool facade, Riya is condescending and cynical, a trait that few realize since she keeps such thoughts to herself and often to her wolf. Even so, her sarcastic and scornful nature only reveal themselves when someone proves to be particularly offensive. In these instances, Riya has been known to be extremely temperamental and even violent, prone to sharp words and less frequently a fierce punch. But those who are unfortunate enough to be the victim of her rage are not undeserving, for Riya rarely expresses her anger without cause.
Another concealed trait is that Riya can be surprisingly stubborn and self-conscious, but she doesn't openly express this part of her persona. She can stand firmly on a strong belief and refuse to budge despite rational reasoning, and it would take physical evidence to make her back down. But as long as nobody outwardly insults her intelligence, then Riya is fine with doing nothing more than directing an annoyed glance at whoever points out her mistakes. Furthermore, Riya is slightly conscientious about her appearance, especially about her small chest. While she pretends not to care, she secretly takes every comment about her looks seriously and always tries to appear presentable in public.History:Raised by a caretaker by the name of Rehia, Riya had always believed that this woman was her mother. Rehia was originally hired by Damien White's mother Shizuka to act as his caretaker, but Riya came about when she was found as a mere baby at the former Captain's doorstep. The two children were raised together as adoptive siblings, though with their resemblance in appearance and personality, nobody would've known that they weren't related. The pair acted as any brother and sister would, constantly fighting with each other but still with a sense of hidden sibling affection.
When Damien left to attend the Academy, the 9-year old Riya was secretly devastated. She always had an older brother to look up to when she needed the guidance (although he wasn't the best role model), but now that he had gone, she became even more reclusive than before. But Shizuka started taking a more active interest her, turning her teachings and trainings on Riya like she had done to Damien in the past. As a result, Riya grew into a wolfrider's mindset and many claim that Shizuka had been preparing Riya to become a potential Patrol leader in the future. Along with the frequent visitations by her adoptive aunt and Shizuka's sister Kiana, the young girl soon began taking a more avid interest in wolves, eventually deciding that she would join the Academy.
But when Riya was of age to enter the Academy, Rehia wouldn't allow her foster daughter to become a Wolfrider, fearing the young girl's safety. Their disagreement in opinion boiled over time and finally erupted into a fight two years later, when Rehia accidentally revealed that she was not Riya's biological mother. Angered and saddened, Riya left the Fort and enrolled into the Academy at 14 years old, dropping her foster mother's last name. So she was known simply as Riya, the reclusive girl at the Academy that never tried to make friends. As a result, nobody knew of her history and always wondered why she was so well-acquainted with the infamous Damien White — even if she ignored or insulted him most of the time.
The year she turned 18, Riya bonded with a wolf that winter, which was when she realized that she was a Seer. Muffled whispers had been heard in the past, but only with wolves she had a lot of contact with, namely Moonstride and Eclipse. Even then she could not hear their voices distinctly, merely the shadows of thoughts that meant nothing to her. So not being able to hear anything beside two quiet murmurs, she pushed the strangeness to the back of her mind and unintentionally closed herself off from developing the abilities anymore. But bonding with Stardust, as she had named her wolf, reopened her telepathic abilities.
The pair was transferred to White Shadow, although Riya had secretly been hoping to avoid her childhood home. But before she had a chance to reconcile with Rehia, the woman passed away a few months after Riya's return and Riya has ever since regretted not making up with the woman who had raised her. During this time, Riya had reacquainted with Damien, but he then transferred himself to New Eve a year later — she never forgave him for leaving her a second time, this time without any reason. Despite all the difficulties, Riya proved herself and quickly rose to become one of the top wolfriders as she developed her abilities as a Seer, though she stayed away from challenging any Sergeants until she had gained more experienced.
Four years passed as Riya rode as a simple Private and keeping her Seer ability to herself. Then that tragic day in autumn, the new centipedes appeared and devastated their Patrol, the deaths of Kiana White and Eclipse as well as Moonstride only some of the major casualties. Never had the Patrols suffered such an incredible loss, even worse than what New Eve had suffered. But from the loss, Stardust quickly took over the pack and easily defeated any challengers for the rank, and Riya found herself appointed as Lieutenant as fall slowly faded.
Over the winter, Stardust continued to exert her dominance over the entire pack and Riya came to realize that the previous Alpha SnowySky had fallen from rank. Near the end of winter, Karayan had approached and informed her that she was now officially Captain, and she suddenly felt the weight of the world on her shoulders. But she's quickly learning to use her Seer ability to develop new strategies that could possibly save them from further tragedies as the spring thaw approaches.Color: darkblue

Her eyes are a sapphire blue and her fur is a soft shade of pastel blue marked by light spots of white like stars - as implied by her namesake. Like most females, her form is slim and slender, built for speed and especially agility; Stardust is capable of maneuvering swiftly and turning sharply, easily evading attacks because of her natural agility and quick footwork, unrivaled by even the smallest of the wolves. While she lacks the strength that most males possess, she's not without the stamina that proves a wolf's true strength, able to run for miles without tiring.
And for all her narcissism, Stardust isn't without her accessories. Behind one ear are two long beaded strands tied to her fur, as much to match her human's as she simply thought they looked rather cute. Sometimes she can even be seen with a long white scarf wrapped around her neck and trailing behind her, but she knows better to wear it during training or into battle.Personality:The epitome of what an Alpha should represent, Stardust holds herself with a silent sense of pride and likewise demands to be respected - any failure to submit will bring out her more violent and domineering nature. Although not outwardly arrogant, her commands are meant to be obeyed and her authority never questioned. She is extremely noble and sophisticated, possessing a natural sense of wisdom and refinement in her elegant attitude. But a less recognized trait is that Stardust can be quite vain and narcisstic though not to the point of being annoying, especially enjoying compliments from males.
However, that's only what others see of her, for Stardust can be quite the self-righteous and stubborn wolf, especially in her belief that wolves are above humans. In fact, she believes that most humans (excluding those belonging to the Alphas) are insignificant and she usually acts as if they do not exist. If a human is in her way, they'd better move quickly or she'll walk right over them. Likewise, human interaction is of little to no interest to her and she avoids interfering in any type of human affairs, including those that include Riya. Stardust also looks down upon wolves that show more human than wolfish traits and the ones that cling to their humans too much, as she views the bonds as a simple but mutual partnership and nothing more - but she also secretly admires the way Feral controls his human like a slave of sorts.
Furthermore, Stardust is as much as wolf as one will see nowadays. She does not like to use human language unless absolutely necessary to emphasize or explain specific things, otherwise she usually keeps to using vocal sounds and body posture. But she's quite comfortable with 'chatting' with her fellow Alphas as she sees them on the same intellectual as herself and therefore, worthy of actually talking with her. Stardust is also quite talkative with her rider since she views Riya's mind as her own private journal, plus her human wouldn't understand the majority of wolf language anyways.History:Born in one of Moonstride's litters, the young wolf pup loved to explore as soon as she could, observing her surroundings and picking up on things very quickly. Her favorite past time was watching the bolder Recruits try to approach her cave before her mother chased them away with an angry lunge. Other than that, she found little interest in the two-legged creatures and ignored their proximity to her life. But once she was three months old, it was inevitable that she meet the Recruits chosen for her. Almost immediately her mind found Riya's and the young pup approached the girl without glancing at any of the other useless humans.
Soon after the bonding, the pair was transferred to their mother's pack, White Shadow. Stardust, as she had been named, went through the next three months of her life showing off her intelligence to the older wolves. They were as much annoyed at her seeming arrogance as amused by her frivolous behavior. But she was extremely respectful to her mother, the dominant female, and her mate, never failing to show the expected submission even as she grew up. However, when the Alphas weren't around, Stardust could be found taunting the Betas and challenging their authority.
The following four years passed by rather uneventfully, though Stardust secretly enjoyed pushing her fellow Gammas and even the occasional Betas to their limits with her rebellious behavior. But she occasionally flirted her way through the pack, encouraging the pursuing Gammas though never finding one to her liking even when she reached sexual maturity. The favor Moonstride showed her only increased her narcissism, acting quite like the spolied wolf princess as she pranced about as if she ruled the pack. Stardust never had any interest in pushing Riya to challenge any of the Sergeants as the young wolf had her sights set on Alpha, though respectfully waiting for the time Moonstride decided to retire.
A month before winter, a new species of centipedes appeared and devastated the pack. Their first battle saw the death of their matron Moonstride, and Stardust quickly asserted herself among the pack in face of their loss. Along with the older Alpha SnowySky, the pair pulled the shattered pack together to defend against a second onslaught by the new enemy. Within a week, Stardust went from spoiled to strong, easily slipping into the rank that she had taken up in the heat of battle. She quickly lost the ignorance and carelessness of her youth, growing into the confident and intelligent leader that she had always been.
However, there were many challenges for the Alpha rank and Stardust found herself defending off the more aggressive wolves. Despite her small size, she used her quick and agile form to tire and then overpower her challengers, easily asserting her dominance. By the end of winter, she was officially accepted as a leading Alpha of the pack, having matured and fallen into her duties with a wisdom that had not been there before. As the dominant Alpha, Stardust had no interest in the old SnowySky and slowly set her sights on Ember, and the two became the new Alpha pair.Color: steelblue
