Ok, new question, would you rather have an abandoned egg that already has a lineage, or a brand new egg? Also, do you like the challenge of having very little time left, or would you rather have lots of time and no rush before your egg/hatchling grows up? And, do you like named dragons, or do you not even bother?

I like saving because they got abandoned, but I would rather have a fresh egg and creating a line

I myself like rescuing abandoned eggs and seeing who their parents and such are, of course having nice new shiny eggs is nice too! As for time, I would rather have more time, but around 5 days is perfect, because then you don't have to wait to long for it to hatch or grow, if its an abandoned egg, of course, who abandons their dragons at 5 days?

Whether new or abandoned doesn't much make a difference to me, but I prefer to have a lot of time left in case I am unable to get enough clicks.

I always check to see if there are any abandoned eggs first, but weather they are new or abandoned, I still give them my best effort to get them to hatch. biggrin

Ok, new question, would you rather have an abandoned egg that already has a lineage, or a brand new egg? >>depends on the type of egg
do you like the challenge of having very little time left, or would you rather have lots of time and no rush before your egg/hatchling grows up? >>I can do both ^^ I've egg-sit and had over 13 eggs/hatchlings at one time. I can also save an egg that only has .22 days left ^^
do you like named dragons, or do you not even bother? >>I name them all but only after they grow up. if I named a hatchling and they died then reused the name it would be like replacing the dead hatchling crying

But its just so hard to find good names that haven't been taken already...

For myself, I'd have to say brand new eggs. I need to start writing up a lineage for all my two-headed dragons, or they'll end up inbreeding somehow. Getting a brand new egg just has that "new blood" feeling. I did get an abandoned split egg once, which turned out to be not only a much-needed male, but was also special in other ways - Tu'fess' parents are TJ's two-headed dragons =D Having actually been down to the wire with the last batch of hatchlings, I can honestly say I prefer it when they grow up faster. And yes, I do like naming mine. Admittedly, though, sometimes I just sit and stare at the screen after I've started the process, drawing a complete blank.

It doesn't really matter to me if they are new or not. I just want one to actually grow up instead of dieing. I don't get much time on the computer so I like to have lots of time to get clicks

I like abandoned eggs better
I prefer less time I can usually get fresh eggs enough clicks to grown to adulthood within 2-3 days if I try hard
Named dragons are better it makes them more lifelike and real an unnamed dragon bugs me badly

1. I'd rather have lineage in my eggs. I find family trees interesting.
2. No rush is what I prefer. I want all my dragons too grow up at a leasurely pace but do prefer for them to mature soon in their ime frame.
3. Naming is my favourite part of Dragon Cave.

And, do you like named dragons, or do you not even bother? i personally like brand new eggs better, but it doesnt matter too much. i like a lot of time, because the eggs i've tried to hatch so far have all died, because i am often to busy to get on the computer. and i love naming dragons. but the 4 hatchlings i had all died. also, plz click...
