Due to an emergency cancellation of the Autotrain which takes out a long part of my trip to school, I now have to drive from Long Island, NY, to Tampa, FL. I will not be online until sometime Friday night, and was not online tonight due to discussing options with my parents. [Amtrak was not very nice about this, there was no email notification of cancellation to people who reserved tickets like months ago].

It isn't that far of a drive. You should get there on your second day of driving.
