This is Enkotsu Island. Called Harmony Island by the native people, it is a place where people and Pokemon live in symbiosis with one another. The People here, descendants of the ancient Pokelantians, have learned to live in perfect synchronization with nature. As you explore the Island, you may find small villages scattered about that are inhabited by the natives.
The Northern edge of the Island is made up of sheer cliffs and rocky dropoffs. The Eastern edge is covered by many interlinking caves both above and below sea level. The Western shore is the only side of the island which is safe to land a ship on and bears a large dock from which visitors, few as they may be, can be seen coming a going at all hours. The natives also use this dock to leave the island and visit the mainland regions. The Southern edge of the island is littered with snow covered mountains. Everything at the islands heart is natural forest save for a large city in the heart of a clearing. Within the city rests a large, elaborate palace. The people in this city call it Annon Kingdom. This is the only large collection of inhabitants on the island and is home to the Royal Family, the Rayvns.

It wasn't until much later that Brayden woke, realizing that he had dozed off somewhere during the course of the trip. One really couldn't blame him. He found the waves quite soothing. The first thing he noticed was that it was warmer! Traipsing around in the snow had its high points, but nothing beat the warmth of the sun now that they were out of the constant snowy overcast of Snowpoint.
Humming contentedly, enjoying the welcome sight of sunshine, Brayden stretched his legs a bit from his seat, noting that one of them had fallen asleep as well over the course of the voyage. That meant a few minutes of a prickling sensation in his leg, but other than that, no harm done. Just a reminder to choose a better position before falling asleep unexpectedly. Which was pretty much useless advice.
There was no longer any ice that dotted the oceans, which proved that quite a bit of distance had passed between Snowpoint and... wherever they were at the moment.
The second thing he tried to determine was what had awakened him. The sounds of the sails flapping? No, the crew had quite the handle on the ship's controls, and Brayden was fairly sure that if a Wingull ran into the sails the unlucky bird would simply bounce right off like a vertical trampoline.
'The awakening would be me, boss,' came Ariadne's comment inside his head, 'Nothing too urgent, but I believe your pillow would like a chance to move around a bit by now...'
It was then that he had been half-leaning on Kaya while asleep, for which he apologized profusely to the prince, trying to blame it on the rocking of the boat, maybe even a stray gust of wind. But in all reality, it was most likely because the prince was warm. Add the softness of his coat, and Brayden had unconsciously found a rather comfy pillow. Plus there was the whole subconscious trust thing.
He was a bit pleased to note that he had continued to hold Kaya's hand while sleeping (albeit his grasp had loosened a bit). As cheesy as that was, he liked the mental metaphors that went along with the action.
Turning to Kaya, Brayden asked with a faint smile and a half-serious tone as he posed the age-old question.
"Are we there yet?"
((Edit: Gawd!!! Astral? Has the Shallow Seas/Endboss area in zOMG always been such a pain? We have a full crew, and we're on Normal, and we've been stuck in the first area for over 2 hours... There are WAY too many Animated to be considered sane.
Edit Edit: Okay, its 5am... I gave up because I needed sleep. So I beefed up my post a bit, and now I'm calling it a day. I just hope the rest of the crew has better luck, they were a nice bunch. How in the world did you beat it?!))

{{Ugh, I highly dislike the new updates. D: I went in with a crew full of CL 10s, and we had a helluva time surviving on Hard.
That's not the way ss/eb used to be. You could clear it in no time flat with a good crew. It takes way too long now.
Make SURE at least 4 people in your crew have rock. That way buffs are not limited to one or two people. I loathe having my Rock depend on just one person. So many things can go wrong.}}
Chloe was watching the water, and was quite glad when she found the temperature slowly getting warmer. By the time the sun had come out fully, Chloe had made her way to the railing of the boat, enjoying its warmth.
Once the water got warm enough, she decided to let Daimon swim alongside the boat. It had been a while since she had last been on the ocean, so she decided the Kingdra might enjoy the short break. It was as she was leaning over the side of the boat to release Dai that she noticed the bug clinging to the hull.
The Nincada skittered along the side of the ship, as Daimon watched, curious about the strange bug.
The Nincada had other plans, as it dove at Daimon, scratching the Kingdra. The sea dragon merely retaliated with a Hydro Pump.

The Nincada sputtered, completely drenched. It fell back into the water with a plop. The bug floundered in the water for a moment, before getting airborne once again, deciding to head back to mainland. Dry ground was good.
Chloe watched the bug go, noting the direction it was heading. She followed its path, spotting an island off in the distance. No, scratch that, there were a chain of islands, she noted. She wasn't sure if this was the right place, or just another group of islands that would be along the way of their journey to Enkotsu Island.
Chloe turned, hearing a rather hurried stream of apologies coming from a few seats away. She spotted Brayden, who had seemed to awoken. She smiled, leaving the two be for now. Chloe was enjoying the sunshine more than she would bugging the two lovers.

Nona, still green from the trip, remained at the side of the boat for most of the ride. At one point, she was able to sit down for a moment and catch a few hours of sleep, but she awoke in the middle of hte night and accidentally wasn't able to make it to the side of the boat in time.
As she saw the land mass they were approaching, she smiled weakly. "...Finally...almost there..." She muttered under her breath, still rather green but just beginning to get used to the toss and turn of the waves. Just beginning...
Bio was still out of his ball, playing around with this and that and causing trouble for some of the sailors. But, otherwise, none of her pokemon were out. She didn't think T.G.P. would appreciate the salt-water anyways.

Kaya nodded awake a moment after Brayden, enjoying the feeling of his lover's warmth against him. He noted that their hands were still entwined. The Princeling looked over the distance to the horizon and saw the island chain approaching fast.
"We should be there within the hour." he remarked, not actually realizing that Brayden had asked him if they were there yet til afterward.
"It's no problem, Bray. We're almost there and I actually enjoyed you using me as a pillow." he replied after his partner had finished his apologies. "I remember when we saved Dialga, I ended up using you as a pillow quite a few times. It's only fair to return the favor." he reminded with a laugh. He had to admit, being on the water and so close to home, he was feeling much better.
He noticed the large stormclouds circling overhead and it did give him a sense of the impending danger. "I think we should watch ourselves when we get there, guys. I get the feeling that my people won't exactly be calm and collected when we arrive." he warned.

The worried look persisted, as she saw the clouds. "Oh boy..." She hugged Bio to her chest. "Why is it always us that have to save the world...?"

"I don't know. I figure we're getting pretty good by now, so maybe they always have to call in the experts?" Chloe joked with a half-smile to Nona's complaint.
The dragon trainer followed Kaya's gaze to the darkening clouds, and hoped it wasn't an omen for what was to come. It was good to know they'd be reaching landfall soon, she didn't want to be out on the water if a storm rolled in.
"They'll be a bit agitated because of the problems on the island?" she inquired, taking a seat back near the others. She let Dai stick to the ocean for a while, knowing he could handle himself if the waters got rough.
"Do the local people know that Notaro's trying to complete the ship to reach Arceus?" Chloe asked Kaya. She wasn't sure what his kingdom's approach to danger. Some places preferred to keep the normal people in the dark about problems to quell panic that would arise if they knew the danger they were in.

((o_O I have had no luck with Endboss yet. Although I made 100k farming in ss on hard in a couple of attempts at completing it. Each time a crew gets to the final switch, that seems to be the spot to give up.
I followed your advice with Rock, though, and that totally works. Especially in that tunnel with Robofish. Thanks for that. I can survive now.
P.S. Sorry for the delay. My internet is being crappy. I'm not sure what's up, but it'll go out for days on end. Posting real fast while I have connection. Hope to get it sorted out tomorrow.))
Brayden was glad to hear that the islands were only a short distance away. But Kaya's words worried him. He had to make sure to keep alert. After all, it was important for them to succeed here. He didn't want anything to happen to Kaya's homeland. Their performance at Stark Mountain didn't give a good precedent, but he hoped that they had enough time between then and now to improve a bit. Especially if Notaro was rumored to be involved again. Brayden shivered unconsciously, looking to the darkening sky.
He too hoped that wasn't an omen of things to come.
"Think we'll hit the shore before it starts to pour?" he piped up, eyeing the clouds for a bit. They didn't offer any clues to him. He had always been awful at reading the weather. But after a moment he heard thunder in the distance. That was enough to convince him that it would be good to get off the water before the rain hit.

"I'm gonna guess that there's a lot of fight in everyone with the reports of that silhouette in the clouds. I'd bet that my people are going to be strengthening our defenses and my siblings may be hard at work trying to find a way to use the Atmospheric monitoring station to dispel the clouds." the prince explained, not having meant to worry the others. "I remember hearing reports of a silhouette in the clouds and I'm willing to bet that it's a Pokemon that belongs to one of our enemies. Very likely one of Lance's Dragons."
He looked up once more and noticed a flash of darkness skip through the clouds. Lightning flashed as he watched and the shape appeared once more, if only for a fleeting second, as a tiny blur shot towards it, trying to fight it off, it seemed. "All Mother?" the boy murmured, watching the clouds carefully.
"I don't think anyone knows for sure. Even I'm not sure if that's what he's after, but it's the only lead we've got at the moment." the prince remarked, seeming a bit distracted as he tore his eyes from the sky. "So let's all keep our ears open and see if anyone says something that might clue us in to anything else going on." he added, looking to the island at last.
"And ya, I think we'll be there in a few minutes, at this rate." he replied to Brayden's question. He heard something strange at that point. A cry for help, it sounded like. "Huh?" he voiced, rushing to the ship's railing and looking over. "That idiot's gonna crash into the docks at that speed! We gotta stop him!" he cried to his friends, pointing to the small Seagallop blasting by.

Ricardo was too out of it to realize what he had done. All he knew was that there was something in front of him and it sounded angry. He reached down to his belt and grabbed a pokeball, tossing it in front of him. "Just... go all out or something." The startled Castform started out by using Sunny Day, making the sun shine down harshly on the area around them. The Castform's body glowed and it changed shape. Shoutaku was startled, but glared at the pokemon and used Mud Shot (-70, 100). The Castform floated back, covered in mud as it launched an ember at Shoutaku. (-20, 10). He retaliated with another Mud Shot, caking the Castform in it. (-70, 30) Castform flew forward, tackling Shoutaku and flinging some of the mud off it it's body. (-20, 80) Shoutaku just growled at it and used Mud Shot again, sending the Castform running to clean itself off and find more food.

Nona watched the boat whizz by, watching it with wide eyes. "...Woah..." she muttered, reaching for her messanger bag.
Even if Quagsire didn't like the salt water, it was worth a shot to save those two.
"The Great Pretender! Go!" she called out, calling the Quagsire into the water. "Slow down that boat with Surf!"

Glad to hear that they'd be making landfall soon, Chloe cast another glance up to the dark clouds.
Silhouettes in the clouds, huh? Chloe didn't know what to think of that. While she hadn't spotted the fleeting glimpses of what Kaya had seen in the clouds, it wasn't hard to make the leap that whatever was causing the storm clouds gathering overhead wasn't natural.
Making sure to keep alert, Chloe returned her gaze back to eyelevel.
Chloe had heard the sound of the approaching boat, but hadn't given it much more thought until she heard the scream. She followed suit after Nona, dashing to the railing, and calling to Daimon in the water alongside the boat.
"Back up T.G.P!" she called, "Use a Blizzard to try to freeze the motor blades!" The Kingdra nodded, before cutting through the waves after the Quagsire. Daimon dove, chasing after the wayward boat for a short distance before coming within range. An icy blast shot towards the underside of the boat, where the motor blades spun at a furious pace. Thankfully, Daimon's kind's sharpshooter nature paid off, as the Blizzard encased the motor in ice. While it wasn't guaranteed to hold, Damon did the best he could, following up with a Surf of his own from the opposite side of T.G.P.'s, attempting to catch the fleeing boat.
