Description: Sam stands several inches shorter then the average human female, her frame is lean and lightly muscled. Moving from one place to another there is a slight swagger to her step, a look of confidence on her face and a mischevious glint in her eye. Her fingers are long and nails kept short but clean, her hands are toughened as if she isn't a stranger to hard work.
Her dark auburn hair hangs well past to her shoulders, most times she doesn't allow her hair to fall freely instead she keeps it pulled back. Various small braids and twists make up her mass of hair, small charms and trinkets are often braided into the locks as well. Her eyes are a brilliant green like those of a cat; piercing and brimming with curiousity. Her face is often wears a carefree smile, with a soft sprinkling of freckles over her cheeks.
A multitude of bracelets, rings, charms and piercings adorn her body, they often make soft clinking sounds at times. Her ears each sport multiple studs and hoops, all the way up into the cartilage. Even her nose bares its own ornament; a small, moonstone stud in her left nostril. As a whole her jewelry seems to hold no specific origin, instead bearing works of many different styles and cultures from simple studs, to intricate spirals and abstract knots of metal, to miniscule gilded figurines of animals, people, or plant life. She often changes out what jewelry she wears as the mood takes her; which at times could mean it's changed multiple times a day.
She is attractive but her personalized taste in appearance makes her more appealing to those that prefer the exotic. It's clear from her cut of clothing that she doesn't bother to comply to the norms of tradition or the community she happens to be within at the moment. In fact it's hard to pin point any sort of origin on her clothing just as with her jewelry as if her own tastes are what dictates what she wears and nothing else.
History: Sam's mother died the night she was born, left in the care of a father that didn't have time to stay home with a child; especially one that looked so much like her mother that her appearance haunted him. Samuel was named after her father, who wanted a son to carry on his family name. Growing up she often found herself on various adventures and trips with her father and picked up a distinct cant in her voice from being around the sailors and other treasure seekers that often found themselves in the service of Capt. Marlin. Over the years she picked up a cant from her father and his associates, after a rather abrupt and random visit from her Aunt at the age of 13 Sam found her world turned around quickly over night.
She found herself shipped off to her Aunt's, to a life she didn't want or care for and into a girl's finishing school where she had nothing in common with her classmates. Captain Marlin sought to protect his daughter by giving her a more secure life, but by sending her away it was something that Sam never fully forgave him for. Sam's Aunt wasn't understanding of why Samual would prefer the life her father had to the one she offered, but attempted to get along with the girl the best she could. Still feeling abandoned and somewhat lost Sam was finishing up her first college degree at only nineteen years of age; it was a week before graduation and the news of her father's death reached her ears.
After collecting her degree Samuel settled in to her inheritance but not in the way her Aunt would have wanted. Instead of living as her well to do relative believed she should. She instead started down the same path as her father. The exact same path, following his steps and searching to find information on his killer.

Seere will manifest and aid in the finding and retrieval of the nine blades created by the Comte of St. Germain. He will also aid in the negotiation of whatever lays below the seal they unlock. In return he will gain the soul of Kyrie Cross as a servant for all eternity...during such servitude he will in addition at all times make available a bunny companion.

Gianna Carter - A long time friend and actually Sam's half sister, Gia has been with her ever since she started on her various treasure hunts. She has worked as Sam's expert with computers and machinery in general. In more recent years some of the sights they have seen have grown too much for Gia and she has turned heavily to the drink, making her usefulness in any situation go down. She has also started to grate heavily on the nerves of those around her most often.
Kyrie Cross - A young girl that Sam was referred to, found of rabbits and with a rather keen mind will help with authenticating the various blades that Sam will come across in her most latest hunt. Kyrie's soul now belongs to Seere, as part of Sam's contract. Only after the fact did Sam find that the girl had a celestial's soul.
Pixel (Jin Ae) - From a strict and traditional Korean family Pixel has just recently arrived to take over computer and hacking work for Samual. She long ago cut ties with her family preferring a life that they would never approve of. Pixel has a quiet authority about her; however much the time she is detached from even those she works most closely with as if finding herself more compatible with her computers then with others. Pixel has pale translucent skin that is unmarred except for a strange 'x' shaped scar over her cheek. She keeps her raven black hair cut short and when she bothers with it is subtly spiked with gel (example). Her eyes are a strange ice blue and most times are very hard to read. She goes simply by Pixel and will not answer to her given name if called by it; though most will never learn it.

Elixir of Immortality...
Immortality a quest that many mortals yearn for, and one that the treasure hunter Sam feels she has found the way to unlock.
French alchemist Nicolas Flamel was said to have discovered the elixir, he bestowed the gift it granted on himself, his wife and it is said a mysterious Nobleman, Comte de St. Germain. The Comte was known for strangeness and mysteriousness and was considered one of the top occult figures at the time.
What many do not know is that Flamel spent much time with the Comte and the two men created a secret set of tunnels and rooms beneath the Comte's estate. The entrance to the labyrinth below is sealed however by the seal of Solomon. There are slots in it, one for nine specific blades all that are said to be highly magical.
After they had set the seal in place the Comte did a ritual to obscure the sight of others and themselves to hiding these blades. It is believed that deep within that labyrinth the elixir that grants immortality can be found.

-The betrayer will stand opposite the betrayed maiden to open the seal leading down and within.
-The Comte seemed to make it so one of the Lesser Key of Solomon Demons would need to be present to open the seal below his estate.
-The swords are warded against demonic creatures so they cannot be picked up by Seere (much to his annoyance).

Hand-a-half-blade - Hidden within the arctic, the group located it's position close to a small village. They believe it is hidden deep within a treacherous ice cavern filled with various crags and rumored to be haunted by the locals.
Claymore(Taken) - The Hungering Blade.
Dirk (Taken)- The remembering blade, decorated with priceless emeralds it's handle is fashioned to appear like that of a striking snake. This blade when held can 'tell' the bearer of anything it has ever 'seen'. It tends to give off a rather creepy and almost life like feel.
Arming sword (Taken)- A holy sword once wielded by a powerful cleric Knight, this blade repels demonic forces and was known for doing great damage to unholy creatures.

Short blade (Tanto)(Taken) - Once used by a woman betrayed, her spirit imbued the blade with the powers of her anger and now it's wounds do not heal as they should. Leaving open wounds much like those she felt inflicted upon her heart.
