LOL, read this:
Thanks so much for featuring the most innovative and hard-working death-metal band in the world today, Dethklok. I'm not normally a fan of reality tv, but watching the boys of Deathkolk deal with their everyday problems on Metalocalypse gives me strength to handle my own trials. Being a drummer Pickles is a personal hero to me, and I look up to him as I would an older brother. Thanks to Dethklok for taking their time out of their hectic schedule to sit down with Revolver and share their insights. They are an inspiration to us all.
~Diana Thoren, Snellville, Georgia
LOL, if she's serious or kidding, either way it's one of THE funniest write in's I have EVER read.

The text on the back of the season one DVD case puzzled me too.
"...Metalocalypse may be the most important television show ever, offering a blistering critique of fascism and idealism that suggests moral redemption is not unlike our Nordic gods that we once prayed to, a myth."
...
The hell? No, it's just a show about a fictional death metal band doing lots of funny s**t. *scratches head*

The reason I couldn't laugh once while reading that is that there are people who seriously think like that. It almost brings a tear to my eye.
