I was just wondering, are condoms really that uncomfortable? I know that is different having intercourse without a condom, but is there other reasons for not liking to use condom?

I notice the difference. I like it better without condom. I found the guy who I'm going to spend the rest of my life with, so I don't use condoms. I'm on the pill and we've both been tested multiple times. I have yet to get the HPV vaccine but it's so expensive where I live that I doubt I'll get it.
Meh. I might get told "well things change. what if you're not with him anymore? then you need the vaccine and condoms." o_o... uh *shrugs* No seriously there's no one else who could deal with me but him XD. And vice versa. We're good.

Some people say there is no difference, some people say they feel a difference. Typically though, it just feels better for both people when one is not put on. That's all.

Some people thing screaming babies and burning Chlamydia feel sooo much better than latex rubber on your p***s.
This is a common belief among males in my area.

Noiry Rouge I was just wondering, are condoms really that uncomfortable? I know that is different having intercourse without a condom, but is there other reasons for not liking to use condom? I asked my Mom the same thing once. She said using condoms is like, "taking a shower with a raincoat on".
My boyfriend confirmed the feeling.
So my Mom put me on the pill and I had sex for a while without a condom, knowing full well my boyfriend was STD free. After a few months of this, I started missing pills here and there, and to be safe, we started using condoms along with the pill.
Needless to say, boyfriend was not fond of the idea, but after a couple of times using condoms, he's gotten used to it and never complains. I feel safer that way - I definitely don't want kids running around. And condoms never felt different for me.
So I guess it's just a matter of getting used to using it. Of course it's not as good as having sex with nothing in between, but it's safer.

Rainbow Holocaust Some people thing screaming babies and burning Chlamydia feel sooo much better than latex rubber on your p***s. This is a common belief among males in my area. Which is why brand name condoms are so much lamer than generic condoms. They're thinner because they maximize sensation before protection. And since so much people don't give a s**t about going on rAIDS and want to feel fine... sweatdrop

I admit it feels a bit better without the condom... but just because it doesn't feel quite as good doesn't mean either of us can't or won't achieve orgasm.
And who really wants it to be over THAT fast?
Plus, y'know, the safety of it all.

It feels different, but bearable. The only thing that really gets me is the smell. I have to use flavored condoms or flavored/scented lubes to get over the really gross dentist-hands-in-your-mouth smell that a condom just sorta fills the room with...
Then again, I am also very sensitive to smells.
Basically condoms just suck, but you should still use them to make sure you don't have babies!

I personally think it feels a lot better without a condom. But I'm on the pill and I've only had un-condom sex with two people, both clean and both were/are long term relationships. I use condoms if I'm going to have sex with someone I don't know well enough to be trusted for STI's. But, use condoms, it's safer.
