Colored lanterns hang from the ceiling of the room enveloping the area in soft yellows and reds. To one side a table is set with a variety of foods and drinks, along the back wall a small stage has been set up with an Audio deck and a couple of musicians have set up. The main area of the floor has been cleared away to allow dancers room if they wish it.
Tables have been set up as well, table cloths in the same muted yellows as the lanterns, the chairs have been covered with cloth adding a bit of class to the ordinary classroom furniture. The cloths over the chairs are in muted yellows and reds with a splash of pastel blue or pinks at times making them colorful but strangely tasteful as well.
On a few tables items for food stuffs is cleared from them and dice are set in the middle as well as a few decks of cards for playing games later on.

Types of Sushi
CHIRASHI ZUSHI - Chirashi sushi is a type of sushi that has a number of toppings, called gu, “scattered” on a bed of loose sushi rice. Although chirashi toppings can be nearly anything, pieces of vegetable are the most common. One bowl of chirashi has a number of toppings (nine is a common number), and sometimes do not even contain seafood or fish.
The rice should be packed enough so that the rice will not break apart when you eat it, but loose enough so that it is not a solid mass. Chirashi rice has more vinegar and less sugar than the rice used for nigiri.
MAKI ZUSHI - Maki Sushi are wrapped sushi rolls, which are often served in slices of six to eight. Maki is not generally loaded with purely fish and rice, like nigiri is, but it allows more room for creativity and diversity. These originated from Buddhist monks in the 13th century. They are now one of the most common types of sushi. Although most maki sushi is in the vein of your well-known California roll, some are much more ornate, others utilize different wraps, and still others are hand-rolled, as opposed to rolled with a bamboo mat.
NIGIRI ZUSHI - Nigiri Sushi is generally a blob of rice topped by various toppings. Nigiri is one of the most common types of sushi, and it is most likely what you will see in sushi photos because of its unique and refined look. Although nigiri sushi varies a huge amount as far as toppings go, it has a number of different shapes.
OSHI ZUSHI - A type of sushi that originated in Osaka, oshi sushi is created by, well, being pressed. With the use of wooden compresses, oshi sushi speeds up the sushi creation process and gives a wide amount of room for creativity.
Drinks
In addition to the wide variety of sushi laid out on the food table there are also several different types of drinks. Warmed pots of green and black teas, a bowl of punch with a small sign noting that it has been flavored with shnappy as well as the various fruit juices, as well as one bowl of punch that is noted as being just juice. A bottle of the shnappy is also set to the side to allow for your own mixing or drinking by itself.
Dessert
Sliced fruits as well as pastries of various types are set to one side, not as in wide variety as the sushi but temping and delicious looking none the less.

Set up along the back wall is a small stage, up on a stand behind three musicians is an audiodeck. It's clear from the set up that the musicians are to play along with the audiodeck and that space has been left so if any of the guests wish to play as well there will be room for such.
A small box with papers set near it is set in front for those that wish to drop suggestions for songs in as well.

The tables set off from the food tables have several types of dice as well as a variety of other items needed to play whatever type of games come to mind. Small cards on the tables explain how to play each type of game presented.
Ship, Captain, Mate...
Mostly played in the taverns of port cities or aboard sea going vessels, Galleon is the favored dice game of sailors. The game is most often played for drinks or small wagers.
5 six-sided dice are used in this game. Each player takes a turn throwing the dice. Each turn a player has three throws of the dice, and tries to roll and put to one side a 6 (the galleon), a 5 (the captain), and 4 (the mate). The 6, 5, and 4 may not be rolled out of order so if the first throw contains a 6 and 4, but not a 5, only the 6 is put aside and the rest of the dice, including the 4, are rolled again. If a player fails to throw the 6, 5, and 4 after their three throws they score nothing.
If after three throws a player has put aside the galleon, captain and mate, the remaining two dice (the crew) are totaled to form the player's score. If all three in the sequence are rolled before the third and final throw, then the remaining two dice (the crew) are rolled in the remaining turn(s) to improve the total of the player's score, with the highest crew total becoming the player's score.
The player with the highest crew total wins. In the case of an equally high total, all players must play the round again.
-More to come...hopefully, if anyone has suggestions feel free to send me a pm-

Belwen hurried from one section of the room to the next making sure that the variety of things she had set up were actually set exactly as she wanted. With a smile she looked over the room filled with the light of the softly glowing lanterns. It looked nice really, the food had taken quite a bit of time but she had finally gotten it all prepared and once that was done she had made a strong but quiet boy help her carry it to the room. He was still here, she had sent Nadyrr to drape some cloth over the curtains of the room so that the windows would better match the table cloths and the chairs.
Hurrying over she stowed one of the extra shnappy bottles bought from Lus under the drink table, only one out at a time so no one wandered off with the entire bottle.
She had dressed in one of her nicer dresses but with less lace then usual so there was practicality as well as appearance. Her cotton candy pink hair was pulled up in a loose bun so strategic curls could frame her face. With a bright smile she nodded to herself, everything did seem very well in order, she just hoped that if not everyone showed up at least a great deal did. Nadyrr stood on a stool pushed over near the curtains attempting to drape the cloth over the rods as instructed. He highly suspected that he wouldn't be able to do it as artistically or interestingly as Belwen had asked but he tried. The stool he stood on teetered a bit under him as he leaned to get a section of the cloth pushed over and fanned out.
Istas circled around the stool and eyed her master uneasily and with worry not liking him standing in such an uneasy looking position.
Once he had finished putting the cloth over the curtains Nadyrr looked around, it seemed that Belwen had the rest in order. Suspecting that he wouldn't be able to sneak out without notice he sighed and made his way to an out of the way table, maybe he'd find someone to talk to once the others arrived or at least a quick escape.

Cypress didn't really know Belwen, but she wasn't about to pass up the opportunity to go to a party - especially one she had been invited to! She did her very best to dress up, and she hoped she looked all right.
Her hair was up in a banana clip on the back of her head, the rest of her long cucumber hair fanning out elegantly. The wisps of hair that normally hung in her face were curled to frame her face elegantly. Her gown was simple, out of a shiny, satin-ish material. It had a v-cut in the front, but not overly revealing. There were no sleeves, and it was the color of a pine tree in deep winter. Floor length, it covered the ballet-type slippers she wore, and when she walked, she made not a sound.
Graceful walking seemed to come effortlessly to her, something she was more than happy to find. She had long white gloves on her hands, reaching almost all the way up to her elbow. She suspected though, with a tad bit of a frown, that she might soil them before the end of the night.
She paused in the doorway, a bit anxious, having expected to be able to slip in unnoticed into the crowd; not be one of the very first people here! She hadn't met either Belwen or Nadyrr at all, formally or not, and was now rather nervous. Still, she crossed the threshold with a warm smile and looked about, eyes pausing on the wonderful looking sushi.
Wonderful decorations! she exclaimed with honest appreciation, moving over to the punch bowl and taking a cup full somewhat nervously, failing to notice that she had drawn from the bowl that contained the shnappy. She hiccuphed a bit at the first sip, but then smiled towards Belwen. I'm Cypress. We have science together, right? she asked a bit sheepishly, a little warm and tingly for some reason that she couldn't quite figure out.

Belwen smiled widely to Cypress and nodded, "we did have Science together, I'm glad you came. I'm hoping lots show up so everyone can meet each other. I'm Belwen if you hadn't guessed and that is Nadyrr over there."
Belwen lowered her voice slightly, "he's very nice but I think he is a little shy." She then looked over the tables and back to Cypress, "feel free to take a look around or ask the musicians to play something."
The musicians now had picked a soft but soothing beat since the party was just starting off. Nadyrr sighed and mustered up a small wave, early on he had attempted to make friendly with others but more recently he had found the whole idea of interacting with others to be a pain. He also suspected highly that tonight was going to be at least somewhat painful...
As if sensing his distress Istas made a soft sound and laid her head on his leg looking up at him with big eyes. Finding her presence soothing Nadyrr rested a hand on the hybrid's head.

Wow. Wow wow wow wow wow.
Thimble clapper her hands once together, standing squarely in the middle of the door frame. The entire room was all dressed up! (Unlike her, who appeared to be in the same clothes she had gone to class in) So pretty... the music played softly upon her ears, and the setup seemed similarly peaceful. She could not remember going to a party like this, she had the impression that they'd be more... excitable. But this was nice. She had no complaints.
She passed through the doorway, as she did so she bumped lightly into the edge of the small table alongside it. Tearing her eyes away from the setup she focused on the array of badges, and the sign enticing their disposal. Hmmmm....
Thimble poked over the selection, as though a decision as to which one would be best for keepsakes could only be chosen after they had each been weighed and handled. She cycled through a few of her favourites, but the one she kept returning to most was the Clover pin. She liked the feel of the regular grooves, pressing into the lines of her hand as she closed her fingers in a fist around it, and it had a slightly warped face, so the smooth undulations of it pressed flat against her hand was similarly nice. Well, why not? With it half concealed in her palm, she smoothly slipped it into the pocket of her leather wrap, and closed the button. Hooiiiiyah, Thimble smiled to herself, and then looked at the Empyreans who had gathered thus far. There was... oh... and... well. Excellent.
Thimble made her way over to her classmates. She tilted her head at Cypress.
You be very pretty she remarked, Cypress' efforts to dress up had at least not gone wasted. Thimble, on the other end of the spectrum, felt not even remotely self-conscious. She, after all, was not the one who had to look at herself. Her gaze wandered to Belwen and Nadyrr, and she offered a continuance of her smile--and even a slight tilt of the head for the strange creature at his hand

Belwen smiled seeing another arrival to the party, she gave the girl a brief wave as she made her way over toward where Belwen and Cypress were standing. Beaming in a friendly manner Belwen greeted her, "welcome to the party, I hope you enjoy yourself." Nadyrr much like Thimble had not dressed up, and seeing yet another girl appear Nadyrr pulled the collar of his baggy shirt up to hide his face slightly. The girls it seemed were multiplying and they always had made him feel strange anyways. With a sigh he scratched Istas ears lightly attempting to not notice anyone taking notice of himself or his companion in the corner. Maybe he would attempt to speak to someone once others had arrived and they had created their groups...but right now there just seemed to be too many.

Grave made his way in to the party in good time. His indigo hair had been freshly washed and scented with just a hint of jasmine oil, and as such it was looking particularily lustrous and voluminous for the occassion. He'd carefully brushed the silvery fur of his tail to ensure he didn't have the unpleasant tendancy of shedding all over the party room. He'd traded his normal, simple work clothes for some of his finer fair. He had selected a black silk shirt with fastidiously rolled and pressed cuffs, with a tiny, tasteful diamond cufflink pinning each one in place. The shirt came open quite low down the front of his taut chest, and did not appear to have any buttons fastening it. Instead, he wore a steel grey vest with a thin silver pinstripe pattern cut perfectly to hug tightly his trim body. The buttons of the vest were simple black pearl buttons, and a silver pocket watch was tucked into the right hand pocket of the vest, its tail of silver chain link arcing gracefully to hook on the third button from the bottom of the vest. For pants he'd selected a slimcut pair of grey velvet that ended in pseudo spats, and had a trim set of six matching black pearl buttons up the outside of each leg. He wore matching grey velvet armlets and a pair of engraved silver bangles on his right wrist and a simple silver band on the last finger on his left hand. He'd remvoed all of his technorings for the occassion, and instead wore a simple black velvet belt, quite thin in width but studded with little diamond rivets.
In this pristine and elegant apparel, Grave appealed at the partyroom, with a winning smile on his handsome face and grace in his step. After quickly sweeping the room with an approving eye, he caught sight of Belwen. With a casual but purposeful step he made his way across the room towards his hostess. There he addressed her by name, to get her attention, "Greetings Belwen," And he offered his best bow. "Thank you for inviting me. Everything looks absolutely superb." And he scooped up the Zero's hand to his lips in one effortless motion and kissed her knuckles chilvalrously.

She had been mightily surprised, to say the least, to come home and find Auberon waiting with an invitation to a sushi party in the white district waiting for her. At first, she had thought the invite misplaced but even so, it was a gathering that she could at least poke her head into.
And so, Kallisto arrived around the same time as Grave did, dressed in her finest. The sanguine rarely dressed in a feminine manner and yet couldn't help fancying herself up for this little affair. She'd let her russet-coloured hair down, allowing it to fall about her shoulders and curl about her face. Gone was her usual active wear, replaced by a crimson floor-length gown that emphasized her curves and the fell away to the floor in an A-shape. Around her neck, and resting just above her cleavage, was a necklace ending in a golden sword set with rubies along the blade. On a wrist, she wore a tiger's eye bracelet. matched by a simple tiger's eye hair pin in her hair.
She smiled and laughed upon finding Grave there, hesitated in the door for a moment before entering. Waiting patiently for Grave to finish flustering the young lady, Kallisto glanced around the room. She didn't recognize many of the faces... but that was to be expected, new Zeroes were brought in on a regular basis. And then she spotted Nadyrr - an old in a crowd of new.
It had been so long! She hadn't spoken to her friend in a long while, perhaps this was a chance to make amends for a long silence. While Grave was busy with Belwen (she'd be sure to catch the Phlegm before long), Kallisto wandered over to Nadyrr and grinned at him, "It's been a while!"

Cypress looked at Thimble and tilted her head slightly, amazed at how the room seemed to follow just a split second behind. What was with this punch, anyway? Still, she smiled at her fellow classmate. Thanks! I'm just hoping I don't ruin my gloves she said with a slight bit of fussing before noticing the badges. One of them had a a face that looked rather like ^-^ and it looked rather happy. Seeing the sign, she picked it up and slipped it inside her sleeve; the only place she could put it. Well, maybe she could put it somewhere else, but she was rather shy.
She smiled as Grave came in, nodding a grin towards her P.E. tutor and offering a small wave. She sipped some more of her punch, and the warm tingly feeling intensified a bit. Wandering back towards Thimble, she smiled again, feeling rather giddy. So how long have you been here? she asked simply, watching as some other Ones ((soon to be twos?)) showed up at the party. Realizing she hadn't even offered her name, she blushed slightly. I'm Cypress - it's nice to meet ya! she said, her normally pristine language slipping a bit the more of that punch she sipped.

Having been making her rounds to ensure the few guests that had arrived had been settled in, Belwen hadn't caught sight of Grave's until he had come up upon her. Her eyes got slightly wide when he took her hand to kiss it and blushing a shade of pink very close to the color of her hair she stood speechless a moment before remembering herself and properly greeting him. "I'm glad you could make it Grave, your one of the first to arrive. If you need help with anything feel free to ask. I have a feeling that the others will be happy to meet you as well." Belwen motions to the others in the room as she speaks.
Her eyes flittered over Grave a moment he had dressed up for the party and looked very nice, catching herself looking at him she flushed again slightly Belwen was glad for the soft lighting of the area that would hopefully hide at least some of it. "So far Cypress and Thimble have arrived and Nadyrr I believe is hiding off to the side somewhere. Once more show up perhaps you'd like to try your hand at one of the games?"
After asking Grave about the games Belwen glanced over noticing another one of the new arrivals another one of the ones that use to walk these very halls. She had been sure to invite everyone even though she didn't seem to be keeping up with everyone as of late. Nadyrr looked up with a bit of surprise, surprise that anyone was talking to him at all. Blinking slightly he realized that it was Kallisto but she looked much different then he remembered her. There seemed to be....more but all in the right places, not having much experiance with anyone but zeros and professors...and well of course his plants he ran his hand through the bits of his hair peeking out of his hat.
Istas nuzzled his hand slightly and then Nadyrr gave Kallisto a smile, "Hello Kallisto, you look lovely. And it's nice to see you again," He wasn't really sure where the cordiality came from but he assumed that was the sort of thing you said to ladies at parties. Nadyrr sat up slightly now that he had someone he recognized speaking to him.

Thimble's tapped her heel on the ground and ducked her head in good-humoured shyness at the warm welcome she was given. She peered again at the Hybrid by Nadyrr and seemed in half a mind to approach: and then another had come in, dressed in such splendid finery. She was ready to compliment him as well, but he appeared quite wrapped in his formalities, and the view to Nadyrr and his odd companion was blocked by another non-Zero (the group was definitely becoming more diverse). so she neatly converted her half-open mouth to a backstep, the beads on her boots rattling in trickling laughter.
She almost backstepped into Cypress, who was moving up behind her, and barely gave her time to recover before she had posed her question. Threading her fingers together, Thimble clasped her hands before her, with the index fingers paired out straight and touching her chin lightly, and dropped the weight on one side of her hip, with a slightly puzzled expression on her face.
"Give a length, hey? I... walked in shortly after you, I presume." What an odd thing to ask. "I be Thimble, pleasure to meet." Thimble tapped the Sampi Ouroboros tattoo on her right shoulder, breaking into another enthused grin. "Party be getting busy quickly, I wonder how many more yet to come."
