Hi all.
My fiance's favorite thing to eat is cheap macaroni and cheese, but quite frankly, I'm getting sick of it. The other night I experimented with it, and found a way to make it taste pretty decent. This is what I did:
Step 1: Cook it like the box says.
Step 2: Add 2 table spoons of gratted asiago cheese to the mixture. (They now sell it in tubes like they do with parmesan cheese.)
Man, does it taste better! It has a much cheesier taste, and it's cheap to eat.
My challenge to the rest of you is to work on improving the cheap stuff. You must use both the noodles and the powdered cheese stuff.
What can you do? IEditYourWorld

I, for some reason, just add ketchup after the macaroni and cheese is finished being made. It's good. whee
Gavy says: I add Chicken bullion to my Raman, and more chicken, and a hard boiled egg. YUM!

I only use a partof the bag cheese, add real cheese, onions, sometimes hamburger. Sometimes I add parme cheese.
A friend of mine fails at making it (it ends up like soup) but its good xp

Garlic, leftover hamburger meat, various spices, curry (It deserves its own mention) and egg all work.
With Ramen, there are a bazillion things you can do, from adding cheese, to the egg, to spices.
Living as a poor person is actually astonishingly easy, with Ramen and Easy Mac.

Ezzackly. I don't see how people can really be living in squalor, if they've got the cash to go to McDonald's. Ditch the fast food and make friends with cheap eats.

Any kind of real cheese helps. There are several Ms. Dash blends, a couple of which are quite good for thing like that.

For my shrimp-flavord ramen, I just added a few spices, some chives, a sprinkle of garlic powder, a fewbits of sea salt, 1/5 a handful of parmesian {sp} cheese, and soy sauce! If there are any, I also add... WARMED-UP SHRIMP!!! blaugh
