SMeyer said in an interview that Alice called him "Jazz" occasionally, but it was out of character for Edward to all of a sudden call him that. :/ I mean, three books into it and he hasn't called him that until the last one?

Stephenie said in an interview that when she was finalizing[sp?] Breaking Dawn, she didn't remember that none of her other books refered to him as Jazz. That's what she's known him as, and that's what she put in Breaking Dawn.

It's not a good sign that she can't keep up with being consistent.

OMG!! yeah you too?!! yeah i was seriously lost when i saw them call Jasper Jazz... i seriously had to go back a few Pages to make sure i didn't miss anything... it was so weird...
but i know... since when did they call him Jazz?....

 ♥ Yeuh, I've read Jasper and Emmett being calls Jazz and Em in FANFICS and all,
and I was fine with Alice calling 'em that (though it was never really in the book BEFORE then)
But when EDWARD said "Jazz", it just seemed so out of character.
I was like, reading it .. "Blah blah blah Jazz blah bl- JAZZ!? *blink blink* Jazz? wtf"
I mean, cmon. Srsly. Edward!?
Jazz? Edward?
