I've heard sooo many annoying comments from people when I told them I play Neopets! Most common thing:
-Childish (pfft..look who's talking!)
-Stupid
-Waste of Time (yea? And look at what you are doing!)
How annoying are these comments! GRRHH!!

Well, I don't exactly hate them if they say that. Just a bit annoyed. 3 people in my class in 5th grade had neopets and someone said neopets was dumb. The three people(and me! xp ) said,"NOOOO!!!"

I am almost 21 and I have played neopets for years and years. I tell people, proudly, that I play and make them feel dumb for not. haha

You can get banned for saying "bra" and it's sponsored by, what, Nickelodeon or something? "Childish" sounds about right - it's why I only play games and never actually talk to anyone on NP.

I get that a lot. On the Internet I block them, but in real life I attack them. Then get suspended from school. sweatdrop

Neopets is a game, it was never made for little kids, actually. Therefor, no it's not childish. And a waste of time? It's just like a video game, you just can't lose nor never win. You just get better at it every time you play, you know? It's a better game than anything, you can actually learn things from Neopets, you know?
It's fun, teaches you things.. such as when you give yourself goals, that usually takes patience and hard work.

I even told my mom to mark her calendar to remind me when cybunny day was here because I wanted one so bad. XD

rolleyes I just ignore people who say that, both online and irl. "Neopets is a waste of time"? stare Yeah, well, so are WoW, DD, Gaia, video games, tv, school, work, and life in general. It's only a "waste of time" if you aren't having fun. 3nodding
