Good evening, Agents.

As an attempt to get more organized, the crew and myself have come up with this section plan. We have been kind of following it since the beginning, but have now decided to take it one step further and categorize ourselves by duties. There are Twelve +1 Sections at the Gaians in Black Headquarters - most of which you, as a card-carrying Agent, already know about and can sign up for. Each of the Sections are lead by one crew member. If you have any questions regarding a section, please feel free to PM that crew member. That is what they are there for.

Each section should list it's Section Head, Department Heads (when applicable), whether or not it is accepting new applicants, instructions on contacting, general explanation of purpose, and agent list. Some sections will have a little more information, some a little less. It is at the Head's discrepancy whether he or she will go into great detail or very little at all.

If a section is not accepting applications at this time, please do not bother their Head with pleads to work under them. This will not please the Head, and he or she will send you to S13 to have strange scientific tests done on you as a revenge.
Really. It's just in bad taste.

Be sure to check back. Sometimes an agent will unsuspectingly retire, and a position will open up. Some sections have a limited amount of agents who can apply, so it is very competitive. Do try to make yourself sound as qualified as possible. I'm not saying lie... we do in fact perform back ground checks, just like we did when you joined.

Certain sections - such as psychology, and medicine - are for GiB's benefit. Therefore, they may have a program where you can seek help from their agents if the need arises. Do not be afraid to ask for help.

Some sections will allow you to work under multiple sections. As long as you clear it with the Section Head it shouldn't be a problem. You should be given assignments, though, so I suggest not working under too many - the work load might be too stressing. I suggest two (or three if you are very brave).

Department Description: The section entrusted with the supervision of this entire organization. The captain and vice captain of this guild take measures to manage GiB. They make the important decisions, and give the big orders.

Head of Communications

Department Description: S3 deals primarily in sending and receiving messages, be it from one agent to another, from one section to another, from GiB to the rest of Gaia, or from GiB to various planets.

Chief of Security

Department Description: Security is in charge primarily of dealing with, surprisingly, the security and the legitimacy of GiB agents. During the Zurg Event a large number of users pretended to be GiB in order to either lend themselves legitimacy or to damage the GiBs credibility. Thankfully, due to the drama of the event having long since cooled such instances are rare. The Security department also runs background checks and provides Identification Cards to any agent who requests one.

Head of Intergalactic Espionage

Department Description: The I.G.E. is an elite group of agents willing to work completely in solitary for any number of weeks, months or even years. They lead a life of danger because their lives are always on the thread. They report directly to Agent 007, and we don't hear from them until their missions are completely done. It is their job to, essentially spy on other organizations, species, and even planets. This is the most dangerous of all sections in GiB. Some agents join up, and we never hear from them again. I expect it's still very exciting.

Agent 007 has to personally contact you for an interview, and quite frankly we haven't heard from him in over a year, so it's pretty unlikely. I hear the application process is pretty tough though. Maybe you should work on beefing up.
I think they have enough working now anyway. But keep an eye out..... one may die and we'll need a replacement.

Department Description: Why does GiB exist if not to protect the public? This section is in charge of keeping the public from harm.

Head of Intelligence

Department Description: If S4 is all about going out on missions and following prime targets, Intelligence is the one that finds and retrieves information from the shadows. S11 researchs, discrimines and stocks all kind of data that falls into it's Agents hands - from Security Level 5 Secret Plans of Intergallactic Transport to what you had for breakfast the day before last. Working hand in hand with Field Ops, Intelligence also manages the largest red of communication around Gaia.
Words from the Section Head: "Agents, we are Trackers. We hunt information for a living, and we never let it go. Old, new, forgotten and yet-to-be-discovered, it is our job to obtain it!"

We've had a most curious drop in our numbers for the past three months. The reasons behind this are still unknown, though it may have something to do with those fluorescent reports that came trough after a visit paid to G-CORP... In any case, we ask that you refrain from entering Wing A - there's still a green aura on the walls.



Preferred Personality Profile: Basically, people with lots of patience and who don't mind to swim trough dead threads to obtain info that may prove to be useful later; also, polite and not too stalker-ish (We do have to allow some privacy, folks.)

Section Description:S13 generally focuses on the technical side of GiB. We design all weapons, gadgets, and tools. We have all sorts of test labs for everything imaginable. We are also the most secretive part of GiB. Nothing going on behind our doors is to get out in public--even among our fellow agents.

Preferred Personality Profile: Mostly we are looking for imagination, diligence, and the ability to keep secrets. (A Level green pass is required...which obviously you have... as you magically figured out the secret of the white text).

Applications:

There are three departments in S13 each has a Department Head who reports directly to Zi.

Experimental Laboratory Testing-- The E.L.T. team primarily deals in the laboratory aspect of S13. This can include testing new substances to be used for other S13 departments, as well as experimenting on various types of life. We probe every type of environment. They conduct many experiments in every aspect of scientific inquirey. From astrology to chemistry to physics to zoology--they do it all. Before Docta PH34R stepped down, this was Agent Zi's department. Agent Tori is our new department head.

Technological Development-- The tech team designs, programs, and tests all gadgets, and tools for G.I.B. They work out the mechanics of all equipment and work very closely with the other two S13 departments. They build and test prototypes. From the two-way communication system located in your GiB special issued watches to the GiB space station circling Gaia--they build it all. Mokoni is the Tech Team Head.

Newly Enhanced and Experimental Weapons Development: The N.E.E.W.D. Department is not only in charge of designing and creating the extensive arsenal of weaponry used by the GiB to protect the earth; additionally, this department is constantly looking for ways to upgrade weapons of the past. Some famous,and infamous, examples of this cand be seen in the transition from the Ancient Katana to the modern day Plasma Beam Saber. Another favorite relic of the past, the Cricket (known for it's small size and overwhelming power), has been modified to the newer, quieter, and more powerfull Mantis. In addition to designing and creating these weapons, the N.E.E.W.D. is also tasked with regularly testing these weapons, to ensure their reliabilty for use in field missions.
