Due to the fact that our marching band only has 20 people in it, we don't have band camp. But I went to Shell Lake Arts Center a few weeks ago. Although someone told me the teachers were planning a bunch of practices and were writing a show for us just 'cause I complain so much that we don't have an actual marching band....
That would probably bother me too. But luckily I have my BD's email, so I wouldn't have to worry about that. If I was a BD, I would have it in july, just to make sure everyone was practicing, but whatever.

Monday-Friday starting in two days.
We have 8AM-5PM band camp days. Haha, 8-5...
It's better than 9AM-9PM days though.

mine left the last week of july
and we had 8am to 9pm marching days... 3 hour practices with a meal in between...
literally our lives were : eat, sleep, march
lol

Thursday is the freshman day, but Friday is the day the rest of us old folks come back. Then we take over one of the satellite campuses of my university for a few days. It's great whee

We finished our camp on the fourteenth. Nine days of it, from the fourth to the eighth 8-12 for footwork, and the eleventh to the fourteenth 3-8 (3-5:30 on the fourteenth, food afterwards ^^) for both music and footwork.
