Field Randomization!
A large screen towered over the stadium. A spinner with twelve different battle field locations displayed on the screen, waiting to be choosen. One of the trainers jumps to the control room and presses a big green button to start up the spinner. The screenshots of each battlefield light up as they are passed by the spinner. Finally, the light stops on...
City Streets Field
Broken tar and faded yellow lines make up the “street” that runs down the exact center of the battle field. On either side of the road, sidewalks with pieces of concrete here and there are broken off while “building walls”, set with windows of sugar glass and rotating doors are placed on one side of the street. On the other is a broken down building with barred window and a boarded up door. Faint traces of grim and much cover the walls of both “buildings” while trash cans and trash bags decorate the street; some are torn open with their contents spilled out while others are not. A sewer grate nearby continually pours a stream of fog into the air while, on the corner near a crossroad, a phone booth is seen. The phone, hanging off the hook, makes a continuous busy signal. Dying and dead bushes line the building sides while occasional breezes blow the dead leaves onto the sidewalks and road.

This field was both, interesting and depressing. Not to mention disgusting. Giving a saddened sigh she released her shuppet. This field reminded her so much of how Saffron City had begun to look in some parts. Shaking her head to clear such thoughts from it, she looked out across the bleak expanse with a sigh.
"Shuuu~" The ghost pokemon flitted around her trainer's head before settling on her trainer's head having a mild feast on the feelings of despair and sadness...until the girl waved her away. "Shuuu~" Floating back up into the air, Yuzuhira went out to explore the city "ruins" until the other trainer showed up.
((Okies according to what I stole, saw in the match I had with Fayah, we both roll a six sided dice and whoever gets the higher number goes first. ))

((Looks like you get to start. xD)) Lamen made a fantastic ugh face, releasing her pokemon with the flash of red characteristic of pokeballs. The silver ball of gas seemed to take in his surroundings for a couple of seconds and then grinned, impressed.
"Gastly, I'm sure you'll love this field. There's gas everywhere." Lamen said, but the trainer didn't need to say anything- Donut was already floating around happily, collecting gaseous mass from the fake street.

Offering Lamen a friendly smile, Cassadaine settled her gaze on her rooving shuppet and sighed. "Yuzuhira! Time to battle you can explore later."
"Shu!" Floating back over to her trainer's side of the field, Yuzuhira regarded the gastly before sticking out her tongue at the other ghost pokemon. "Shuuuuppet~" She didn't like the opposing gastly much it seemed.
"Alright Yuzu! Nightshade!"
"Shuuu!" Advancing toward the gastly, Yuzu built up her nightshade attack to launch at the other pokemon. Moments before she was in front of him, she let loose the attack.

"I don't like this field very much... hard to breathe..." Lamen was distracted by the field's horrible smell when Donut was suddenly hit by the Nightshade attack.
"Oh man. Sorry, Donut! Use Lick to paralyze her!"
Donut said jokingly, and then proceeded to delivering Cassadaine a swift slobbering to the face.

"Ugh!" pushing the gastly away from as best she could she pointed out to the field. "You and Yuzu are supposed to be fighting!" As much as she loved her shuppet...she still had a slight...phobia (of sorts) of ghost pokemon.
Floating over to where "her" human was being assaulted by the gastly, Yuzuhira shoes the gastly away She said rolling her eyes. And people called shuppet bad.
Shuddering as she sneezed before covering her nose to block out the foul air, Cassadaine scowled at the two ghosts. "Enough socializing Yuzu! Nightshade again!"
Socializing?! Her?! With a...a gastly?! Never! Scowling herself in annoyance more at the human than anything else. Her speckled form seemed to twist and warp and as the darkness spreading out from her increased she almost cackled. This was going to be sooo much fun! Letting loose the her control on the "darkness" she gave a brief loop-d-loop before waiting to see it if hit.

((Oops, I said Cass instead of Yuzuhira. xD; *lose* ))
This couldn't continue... she had to paralyze them, quick. "Donut! Try again!"
However, he kept getting hit by attacks which were super effective against him... Lamen knew he wouldn't last long.
"Lick!"
The Gastly, recovering from the attack, attempted once more to lick Yuzuhira into paralysis.

Grinning Cassadaine couldn't help but grin at poor Donut's predicament. Casting a look at Yuzu she smirked. "Yuzu! Evade that lick! And once you're done with that Nightshade again!"
Cackling as she floated away from Donut, Yuzuhira turned focusing another Nightshade attack at the gastly. Cackling even louder she let it loose. If one didn't know better they would have said she was enjoying this torment of the other pokemon and trainer.

This wasn't going very good- Donut was already down to half health, and no damage had been done yet.
Well, there wasn't going to be a change to the tactics- there was no chance to win, otherwise.
"Lick again!"
The gastly knew his owner didn't have a choice, and so continued with his attack. ((GAAHHG xDD Outta luck! I might never get her paralyzed... o-o;; )) [400/800]

Don't get too over confident...Wise words...that were always hard to follow...Especially in a battle such as this. The gastly was probaly going to get knocked out on the new few turns and Yuzu had yet to take a hit. Shaking her head she watched as the gastly came at Yuzu again to try and lick her...and missed. "I'd try another tactic if I was you! Yuzuhira! Faint Attack!"
Rolling about midair the shuppet rightened her self before zooming toward the gastly and seeming to disappear before moments later she showed up near the gastly unleashing her pent up energy and frustrations.

Today was not very much Lamen and Donut's day, and they knew it. In fact, Donut seemed to be missing way too much for this to be normal. That's when Lamen realized her pokemon was completely... high. He had probably absorbed too much of the gas from this infernal city streets field. Shaking her head and sighing, the trainer facepalmed- her dislike for this field had yet again increased.
"Donut! Snap out of it!... get rid of some of that gas!"
Huh. It sounds like I just asked him to cut the cheese.
"Gaaas!" The gastly still seemed oddly cheerful, while his eyes were totally unfocused. Would he FINALLY hit his opponent, or...?
The pokemon launched a Confuse Ray instead of a Lick attack. "Gaaas?" He hovered around the white light he himself had released towards his opponent, kind of confused himself of how he had done THAT.
((He's high on poisonous gas. D8 It explains everything! Aint that lovely? xDD ))

Snorting softly she watched as the gastly release a confuse ray when she was fairly certain the pokemon was supposed to use a lick attack instead shaking her head, she watched Yuzu loop out of way. "Yuzu Faint Attack again!"
"Shuu~" This gastly was funny, very very funny. Floating about she loosed another faint attack at the gastly. This was just becoming... a very very big joke.

Almost completely oblivious to what was happening, Donut bobbed in confusion as Yuzuhira's final attack took him by surprise, sending him flying- right into his pokeball, as Lamen had said "Return!" the moment the Faint Attack had connected. It was pretty obvious what that last hit would do.
Shaking her head in embarassment, Lamen grinned and called to Cass: "Well, that was pretty messed up- but congratulations! I apologize if the battle was unsatisfactory. I'll make sure to train him to avoid absorbing strange gases from now on, haha. So, perhaps we could have a rematch some day?"
