Five large platforms float on the surface of the deep pool, four forming a diamond formation around the single platform in the center. While land pokemon can move around on this field, it was mainly built for water-types. Rules prevent the freezing of the water.
Kayla smiled as she wallked into the stadium and saw a large pool with 6 platforms for land based pokemon. This year, the summer heat was getting to them and now she had a strong itch to just take a good swim in that cool water. She was sure that all of her pokemon, except Adira would enjoy it but alas, this is a battle field not a neighborhood pool.
"I guess we can play after the battle." Kayla sighed in resign before throwing out her pokeball. "Go Quin! Let's show them what we are made of!"
The pokeball burst open with the colors of red and green as Quintrell emerged onto one of the platforms closest to Kayla. "Veee!" Quin cried happily when he realized it was a pool! He instantly dived into the water to cool down.
Kayla mock glared at Quin. "Lucky b*****d." She muttered before shouting. "That's enough, Quin! We need to get this show on the road and afterwards we can enjoy a dip."
Quin lingered a bit before leaping out and shaking the access water off his coat before looking at the other end of the field.

"Hey Donut. Want to swim?" Lamen grinned. This was their second time on this field, and the trainer didn't mind as long as she didn't fall into the water herself. Swimming pools and lakes usually didn't end well for her. The gastly, however, probably didn't have the ability to swim altogether.
"Gas..." He rolled his eyes, but grinned anyways. He was going to have fun!
"So, you ready to start, Kayla?" Lamen asked across the field.

Kayla was amused that Quin was enjoying the field for the first time. All the fields that they had together was not very pleasent.
Kayla looked up at Lamen and grinned. "You bet! Do your worse!"
