General Duties For All Members These are the rules which all who partitipate in this guild must abide by, according to their positions.
-~*~- 1.) There will be no tolerance for illiteracy.
2.) All posts which are in character are to be written in the third person.
3.) There will be no tolerance for spam, bumps, or poll-whoring anywhere inside the guild.
4.) Sexual content is not permitted in the guild, all posts within the guild must remain G-PG-13.
5.) All members of the guild must try to be online as much as they can. Absence from the guild with no replies to private messages within two months will cause a member to be replaced (if applicable).
6.) Guests who come here wishing to become geishas must visit an okiya, where they will ask the Okaa-san if she will support her to become a geisha.
Guidelines
1.) Before you join the RP, check Gion Baraen Members for vacant positions and fill and send the corresponding profile. If you would like to occupy a position, not listed (another okiya mother, hanamachi regular etc.), please, feel free to post it in General Discussion thread, we will help you enter the RP.
2.) Announcement threads contain necessary information and tips on the Guild. Stickies are RP threads, where you are to be IC (in character). Other threads are discussions, related to organizing the RP and different events.
3.) Time in the RP will be defined by posts and ozashikis (parties). While the time of ozashikis will be defined in Real Life limits (GMT standard).
What's GMT (Greenwich Meridian Time)? This is the time of Great Britain to be brief. All the rest time zones are defined by GMT + or - a few hours. How to check GMT? Click your clock on the Start panel of Windows. Choose Time zone tab and check what your time zone is. For example, if you live in Alaska, your time zone will be "GMT - 9:00". So, to know GMT you need to add 9 hours to your local time. Say, your time is 8AM. 8+9=17. It means GMT is now 5PM (17:00). In the same way, if you live in Tokyo, Japan, your time zone is "GMT + 9:00". So you substract 9 hours from your local time. If your time is 8AM, GMT will be 11PM (23:00). To make things easier you can change your Gaia settings to have all times read as GMT. How to do it? Go to your Profile. Click Edit Profile. Scroll to the end of Edit Profile page. The last option is Timezone. Select GMT in the list and submit changes. All times displayed on Gaia will be in GMT then.
