im goin into 9th this year and we do a kind of marching band but not realy we just play on the foot ball feild but in 10th we do full marching band i just wana know is it fun?

well I'm in 8th and got put in the pit so when everyone was practicing getting the sets set i got to sit and watch in the shade of the marimba so it's pretty fun

Well I will become a freshman this upcoming school year.
Its pretty fun but in 7th and 8th, we only marched for a parade.
We're more of a concert band.

Band is AMAZING. I don't think that there are any other words to describe it! Ok, so there are some synonym's that we could use. But I think that AMAZING is the best word to describe it!

Sure it's fun. You work hard, but going to games or a competition is a really good time ^^ 3+ hours of hanging out with all those people you love talking to, with no work to think about until you play, haha. While it might not be fun while you're working yourself to the bone, it's the performances that make up for it whee

I don't really enjoy marching season too much. Bus rides, two periods of band, perverse humor at football games... that's pretty enjoyable. xD But no, I don't enjoy marching band itself much.

I love marching band, i think that its the best chose i could have made in high scool, its the best.

YESSS!!!! Marching band is so much fun! It can be a lot of work, but it's worth it.

Yep. I would say it's pretty fun. I don't know if my opinion really counts; my school really doesn't have a marching band, we just kinda go, "Oh, crap. The school board wants us to march in the parade. I guess we better practice...." and we usually don't even practice untill the day before and we have a room full of uniforms, but we never wear them.
