Canyon Field!
The Canyon walls toward high towards the ceiling while the ground sinks downwards several levels, making the top and bottom of the field very difficult to see without special equipment. The cliff faces themselves are very steep with little ridge support for grabbing and climbing; on top of that, the rock faces themselves are very damp (moss is also present due to the continuous moisture) which makes grabbing and holding on very difficult. A few skinny trees and roots jut out from the cliff, announcing an option for land-based pokemon such as to grab and swing; however, these cannot bare that much weight and WILL break if such a thing happens. At the very bottom of the canyon’s long drop is a deep pool of water. Visually is difficult for trainers on this particular battlefield, so stadium officials have set up a special view screen on each of the trainer platforms. A mini camera will follow your pokemon around while it battles (of course, it’s programmed to back off when a pokemon does an attack) and the view screen will enable trainers to issue commands to their companions via microphone.

Jamie Lynn Watson entered the field, attaching her microphone to the top of her shirt, close enough to the right side of her mouth so that she could issue a command without fail. She grinned as she spotted the stadium. A canyon, eh? It would provide a clear challenge, but was still interesting enough that you didn't hate it. She nodded, looking around, interesting indeed.
Jamie stepped up to her platform and fumbled around for Doom's pokeball - the only pokeball she possessed, in her pocket. She quickly found it and hoisted it out of her pocket. She grinned, rubbing the pokeball for luck. Doom wouldn't let her down. No way.
Jamie hadn't spotted her opponent yet, that is why at that particular moment she glanced around, looking for them.

Saspra stepped onto the field slowly. This was the first battle she participated in and she was excited. Sure Shadow was only a Vulpix, but he was a tough one at that. She looked over and spotted a canyon. So that was their arena. The water would get in the way, but Shadow would know to avoid it.
Saspra hopped onto her platform and grabbed out Shadow's Pokeball. Looking ahead of her she spotted another trainer. "So you must be my opponent, eh?" Saspra smiled. This was going to be fun win or lose.
"Come on, Shadow!" She shouted and the red light emitted from her Pokeball and Shadow ran forward.

Jamie grinned as her opponent entered the arena. She nodded at the obviously rhetorical question. She looked down at Doom's Pokeball and threw it, as did the other trainer with her. "Go, Doom!" It was tossed up into the air and soon opened, letting out a blinding flash of white light. She smiled. Doom, even though he was her only Pokemon, was her favorite. He was strong, and his lust for blood only left him as an even better fighter than anyone else.
"Quick, Doom! Flamethrower!" She shouted into the microphone attached to her shirt, hoping he would follow through and do it with ease. Sometimes, Doom could be so... stubborn. She glanced at the Vulpix that her opponent had called 'Shadow.' Another fire Pokemon? She sighed. Maybe Flamethrower wasn't the best choice...

Saspra hardly flinched as the move hit Shadow. "Stay strong Shadow, use Fire Spin!" It was a Fire type against Fire type. This battle wasn't going to be easy.
Shadow rolled as the attack hit him and he let out a small growl before charging at the Houndoom with Fire Spin.
Fire wrapped around Shadow as he charged forward blazing from the flames torwards Houdoom.

"Great job, Doom!" Jamie chanted, cheering on her Houndoom. He had done good. At least the attack hit!
She flinched as the attack hit Shadow. Sure, she got into the hype of the fight quickly, but she hated seeing the Pokemon getting hurt. She should've just become a nurse like Joy... but, no. She liked the thrill of the battle, and that's why Doom had brought her here today. Battle.
The Fire Spin that Shadow had used, directed by his trainer, hit Doom's back end. "Oof!" His butt flew sideways, and Jamie could tell he had lost some HP. 100, to be exact. "You're doing great, Doom! Retaliate with Bite!" She shouted, jumping up and down excitedly. Fire versus fire? This could take a while.
Doom leaped forward, towards his opponent, a male Vulpix. While in the air, Doom snapped, using the attack that Jamie had commanded, Bite.
Jamie was up on her trainer stand with fist clenched and eyes closed, possibly praying.

((STOOOOOOOOOP. OKAY. You guys will need to repost from the confuseray attack or restart this battle. When you are using confuseray, you roll TWO FOUR SIDED DICE. If the first dice is even, it misses. If the first dice is odd, it hits. The second dice determines the number of turns.
Not a six sided dice. PLEASE read the battle format.))

((Dx Sorry, FireFox. Sas sent me the info she had re-typed herself to simplify it and make it easier of both of us and she said 6-sided. -headdesk- I guess we can re-do that attack, but it looks like Sas logged off in search of food. D: Thank you for paying attention. >> -snuggles-))
